POL Marjorie Taylor Greene Launches America First Movement Against Trump on Foreign Wars

I agree! I will vote for whomever is likely to bring about mass deportations,
Go read this post:

You Vote: With talk of a new political party or movement led by Carlson and Greene, what say you?

Choices
  • It will be a big success, and hurt the GOP as it will win over many of its voters
  • It will never get off the ground, at all, showing how little clout and following they have
  • They will actively try to establish a new political party or movement, but it will attract few followers and they'll end up stopping, as they gain little traction.
A few more votes have come in, since this AM.

If anybody had the support to start a third party, it was Trump.

These clowns are in it for the money.

Tuckers media career is in a downward spiral, MTG bailed from congress...they need to do something for a cash infusion.

Ray Charles could see that $#it.

My personal opinion is that the only way that crew in the OP would win any election if the only two options were them and the DSA. And even then it will be a close call.

Most people take pride in who they vote for. Can you really see a majority going rah-rah-rah for any of those above?

Now if the question is can they have an impact? That's more up in the air. Bigger question is if any of them can have a positive impact or if they will simply cause more people to stay home with a severe case of the mullygrubs.
2028 primaries will be one for the books. Both sides are seeing disruptions to their total dominance of the political sphere. The democrats have zero cohesion, no sane platform, and no face to spout that insane ideology. Maybe if they trout out Mike Obama that could change.

Can an American First candidate make an impact? Yes, yes they can. Can they break thru the DNC/RNC control of the media sphere to have their message heard? I dunno, Carlson has a big enough platform that just maybe they can. It' really depends on how big the America First movement gets. Too bad they took Charlie Kirk off the board, I'm really curious what his opinion would have been.
Yeah, I have a feeling that when the OP Crew tries to get going they are going to hit this wall. The questions will start about being double agents, traitors, etc and whether any of them can then be trusted.
I've yet to see an accusation that was completely true and not a hit piece aimed for the low information voters. I mean the type of person that doesn't fact check anything, just parrots whatever garbage the Levines and Shapiro's are spewing that day. I don't want to see this thread devolve into that discussion, maybe someone else would start a thread on whats really true about Tucker Carlson. The only person in the OP that I wouldn't want in a position of power is MTG, she's shady, I agree. People like Joe Kent get called a traitor around here....that's a travesty. His service jacket says otherwise, his dead wife says otherwise, and his love for the Republic say otherwise. There's alot of hit pieces tarnishing that man. I think the people that wrote those hit pieces should be scrutinized for the whole double agent nonesense.
While the party platform points are still being worked, there are two primary issues (so far) discussed in interviews that caused the split (described in the article below). I look forward to see this party come about and evolve.

My position: full support (for now, still need to see platform points), and it’s about time.

MTG Teams Up With Tucker Carlson and Thomas Massie to Plot New Political Party: ‘The Movement Has Begun’

Sean JamesAug 1st, 2026, 2:43 pm

Former Republicans Majorie Taylor Greene and Tucker Carlson are apparently serious about their plans to launch a new political party — and they’ve got some help too.

Greene posted a picture on Saturday of her and her new husband Brian Glenn sitting at a wooden table headed by Carlson, who was flanked by lame duck Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and another ex-fan of President Donald Trump: Joe Kent, the former director of the National Counterterrorism Center who quit earlier this year in protest of the Iran war. Massie and Kent’s wife are also seated at the table.

Everyone appears to be pretty jolly in the picture — and focused on their mission to upend American politics.

“We said no more foreign wars and we meant it and supported Donald Trump because he made that promise. But he’s betrayed us all,” Greene wrote. “Our commitment is America First for all Americans, right, left, and center.”

“The movement has begun,” Greene capped off her post.

And the gang’s fuel-of-choice for the plotting session? A batch of chocolate chip cookies and milk, based on the spread on the table.

MTG’s pic comes a month after Carlson said he was working to “help build” a new third party. Carlson said it was imperative because the Republicans and Democrats are too busy worrying about foreign affairs while the lives of average Americans crumble.

His announcement followed Carlson saying in June he was done voting for Republicans. MTG made the same announcement soon after.

How could I or any American voter support a political party that’s not loyal to the United States. That puts the interests of a foreign country above those of its own citizens,” Carlson said. “It’s not possible to vote for people like that, and I’m not going to.”

Carlson was referring to Israel, a country he has been fixated on. He said Trump’s 2024 campaign was funded largely by people with “loyalty to Israel,” which is now forcing the president to make decisions not in the best interest of the USA.

Trump has scoffed at those kinds of claims, saying in March about the Iran war,“If anything, I might’ve forced Israel’s hand.”

I voted for Trump 3 times. The 3rd time I championed him to anyone I could, because of his performance during his 1st term. The Trump I voted for seems to have checked out of the "give a ****" building is now doing severe long term harm to the Republic.
To bring this around to the OP, I think this is going to be the problem that crew faces. They have a limited focus. But if they're personal ball isn't the one being played with they tend to get pent out of shape and not play well with others that have a different idea of what a timeline should look like or how to measure success. If there is concern that Trump can't get things done, the crew in the OP is not known for getting much if anything of any size done.

I'm not saying they are do-nothings. But I don't see them accomplishing much if anything simply because they don't have the track record.
Again, this is all new. "The crew" aren't going to be the final product of whatever this turns into. Too early for any kind of judgement.
He is still a better choice than any democrat and we wont get exactly what we want.

No one is arguing that at all. I think everyone here agree's that Trump was the superior choice in 2024. I voted for him 3 times. Twice with zero hesitation and tons of enthusiasm for what I was choosing.
I see it the other way around as attacks are from the minority CW/TC crowd ..
Ahh, two minutes of reading or listening to anything from Ben Shapiro or Mark Levine would show you how wrong you are.
You keep talking unity
How about this for dialog
Explain exactly what this unity would look like and what it would entail.
Did you not experience the unity that was in the Republican party from 2020-2025? That's what I'm talking about. He had 77 million people, probably more, unify behind him and get him elected.

That has all changed. The neocons came in and severely changed the trajectory that Trump was on prior to him getting involved with Iran. 6 months ago any talk about a America First 3rd party would have been laughed at by me. Any questioning or dissent to this fact is met with the most unpleasant, what I call neoconning.
That argument is a red herring.
None of us are arguing for him over a democrat!
Yes it is and tiresome to keep reading too

So far, the discussion hasn't acknowledged the reality that whomever is running for Prez in '28, will not just run on Trump's coat tails.
I pointed this out earlier. Vance and Rubio are going to have a hard time in 2028 if something doesn't start changing and soon. That longer they allow an outside coalition to form, the harder it will be to unify the party.

So, who's going to be the Front Man (or Woman) for your party in that picture? Who will they promote?

The ones in the picture have too much baggage to gain any traction, and their egos are SO big, are they willing to share the spotlight?

So, who will it be?
Again, this is all just starting. We have no idea who all the players will be and probably won't for another year.

I think you're being extremely myopic, or just so focused on "the war", you've missed a whole lot.

Take a stroll around this link, see if it jars any memories:

So Disgusted!’ Megyn Kelly Clashes With Mark Halperin Over Whether Tucker Carlson Will Run for President

“Tucker’s as likely to run for president as I am to move to India and start my cricket career. I just don’t think it’s going to happen,” Halperin told Kelly. ()

“I’ve spent a lot of time on this, and starting a third party is nearly impossible in our system. It takes a lot, a lot stuff that that group doesn’t have sitting around Tucker’s house chatting in flannel,” he said.

Kelly noted she hasn’t spoken to Carlson directly about the matter, but she believes he’s “disgusted” enough to run.

“They can get in the debates,” Kelly argued, noting the Commission on Presidential Debates “no longer runs the thing,” meaning the threshold to enter a debate could be lower.

Halperin still had plenty of doubt, claiming no Republican would allow themselves on a stage to debate Carlson.

IIRC correctly, on one of his podcasts where they discussed this Tucker said he was not going to run. Nor seek a cabinet position. He commented that he would take WH press Secretary, as it would be funny.

I asked you what it would entail, which means from here on out... you ignored that part or what you are saying is, the only way unity happens is, if you get your way...What's crazy is you actually believed every and all promises would be kept (That's foolish.) And, what is actually tiring is, the same old tropes from the those that were ignorant enough to believe that they were somehow handed the goose that lays golden eggs in politics and now that reality has crept in, they will flip the table over and screw everyone while strutting around claiming moral superiority of some sort.

Stinking amazing

Edit to add: I have said it numerous times here, the right cannot work as a team, as there are to many individuals that all think they know what's best, have all the answers and should be in charge.

I asked you what it would entail, which means from here on out... you ignored that part or what you are saying is, the only way unity happens is, if you get your way..You want unity, get onboard and wait your turn, quit trying to flatten the tires.

Stinking amazing
I'm not sure why you're so hostile. It causes me not pay much attention to you. It's not me starting this movement, all the questions you want answered are for someone else. I will say, peaceful dialogue is where I would start.

Your entire post is very well thought out and thank you for the courage in starting the thread in the first place.

I don't think anyone here is asking people to commit to something this brand new. There is a lot that can happen between now and the midterms much less now and 2028.

In all honesty, I voted for Perot because deindustrialization was already hitting our area pretty hard. OK, so Clinton won. I think that we can see that the Uniparty dynamic got a real boost during his term because just about everything he did to the working classes was what Bush Sr. was planning to do anyhow.

NAFTA, gutting Glass-Steagall, getting China Most Favored Nation status.

Tell me what Bush Sr. would have done differently?

There are a lot of credulous people who are going to end up deluded and depressed if they get caught up with Tucker Carlson and his crew. You can see it coming. Just reading comments on X and elsewhere...

Here's like 5 mins of Kent explaining things.

Joe Kent to Cenk Uygur: "Even a lot of hardcore Trump supporters right now, they feel very betrayed."

"...When I got together with Tucker, with Thomas Massie, and Marjorie Taylor Greene... we were just kind of comparing notes."

"...No matter who we vote for, we get another war in the Middle East. No matter who we vote for, AIPAC and these major donors—most of whom most Americans don’t even know—they dictate the policy that sends our best young men and women off to go fight and die in foreign battlefields."

"They make our taxes go up and then they give us nothing back in return but more debt and more wars."

"...We don’t think the current political system is working... because of the results on the ground." "...We have to find something new to save our country."

Any member of the Trump admin that wants to run for POTUS in 28 who has defended Trump’s war in Iran and not spoken out against it publicly, has stood with the admin on the coverup of the Epstein files, and refuses to publicly apologize to the American people for the creating more inflation and high gas prices with the Iran war, will not be trusted.

64% of Americans are against the Iran war, and it is a complete betrayal of campaign promises.

The Epstein files are still not fully released, which has been one of the biggest issues the American people demanded in recent history.

Lowering cost of living and gas prices was a key campaign promise that had been completely broken because of Trump’s Iran war making costs of living even worse for the American people.

You won’t get to walk out on 2028 presidential stages with your anti-neocon tough talk and try to tell us this time will be different because all we will see is your blood stains from 18 US service members and children of the Minab girls school.

We won’t believe you when you claim to bring transparency and accountability because the Epstein victims will still be crying out demanding the Epstein files and justice they never received.

And if you utter the phrase America First claiming to focus on a domestic agenda, we will laugh at you because your pockets are lined with AIPAC, MIC, and other corporate pac dollars that always fight against putting regular Americans first.

YOU are in power right now.

End the war and bring our beloved troops home immediately.
Release the files and prosecute pedophiles and rapists, even if they are your donors and friends.

And put 100% of your focus on domestic issues that lower inflation, costs of groceries, and gas and energy prices for the American people.

We no longer live in the failed two party system and will no longer be controlled by it.

Both parties, no matter who is in charge, put us in deeper debt, continue to ruin the value of our hard earned dollars, and always drag us into foreign war after foreign war that feed the debt, ruin the dollar, and kill people.

It’s gross.

We are done.

We won’t vote for you anymore because the other side is worse than you, there’s no difference, both are disgracefully bad.

Approximately 45% of Americans are independents.

We don’t need the two parties anymore.

‘Whiny Turncoats’: Trump WH Goes Nuclear On Tucker Carlson’s ‘America First’ Gathering

The White House has officially responded to Marjorie Taylor Greene and Tucker Carlson teaming up to start a new political party.

President Donald Trump’s administration on Wednesday branded the two ex-MAGA fans — as well as lame duck Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and former head of the National Counterterrorism Center Joe Kent — “whiny turncoats” for plotting their “America First” party.

White House spokesperson Davis Ingle ripped the anti-Trump quartet in a statement shared with Wired.

“President Trump created the greatest political movement in the history of politics with the MAGA movement, and he remains the unequivocal leader of the Republican Party,” he said. “The President is committed to maintaining Republican majorities in Congress and continuing to lower costs for working families. Meanwhile, this photo represents an embarrassing collection of mostly whiny turncoats who dramatically overestimate their influence and relevance.”

The response comes four days after Green posted a picture of herself, Carlson, Kent, and Massie sitting at a wooden table and enjoying chocolate chip cookies and milk. But it wasn’t just a relaxed hangout — MTG said they were plotting political revenge on Trump.

“We said no more foreign wars and we meant it and supported Donald Trump because he made that promise. But he’s betrayed us all,” Greene wrote. “Our commitment is America First for all Americans, right, left, and center.”

“The movement has begun,” Greene capped off her post.

MTG posted the pic a month after Carlson said he was working to “help build” a new third party. Carlson said it was imperative because the Republicans and Democrats are too busy worrying about foreign affairs while the lives of average Americans crumble.

His announcement followed Carlson saying in June he was done voting for Republicans; Greene made the same announcement soon after.

“How could I or any American voter support a political party that’s not loyal to the United States.

Carlson, once one of Trump’s biggest backers, remains a supporter of Vice President JD Vance, whom he’s long had a close relationship with and lobbied Trump to put on the ticket.

Trump has scoffed at those kinds of claims, saying in March about the Iran war, “If anything, I might’ve forced Israel’s hand.”

And despite working on the new party, MTG appears to have a bit of time for other projects. Greene announced on Tuesday she was joining Cameo, where she is available to create personalized “business videos” for a minimum of $5,000.

America First revolts after Trump welcomes Alan Dershowitz to MAGA

President Donald Trump prompted backlash from his MAGA followers and other "America First" Republicans, after making a post hailing Alan Dershowitz as a "Great American Patriot."

Dershowitz is a longtime attorney and cable news fixture, best known for his tendency to work with high-profile clients, and ones who are often seen as controversial, including the likes of Jim Bakker and Harvey Weinstein. He also notably served on a legal team for the notorious Jeffrey Epstein, helping to secure his widely condemned 2006 non-prosecution agreement, which saw him walk away from serious charges with relatively light consequences.

On Wednesday, Trump's official Truth Social account shared a post promoting Dershowitz's new book, "Why I Quit the Dems: And You Should Too," about his rejection of the Democratic Party and reluctant embrace of Republicans.

"The Highly Respected Alan Dershowitz has written a powerful new book, 'Why I quit the Dems and so should you! (confessions of a reluctant Republican*)," the post read. "Alan is a Great American Patriot who understands the Wisdom and Courage it takes to defend Democracy from Communism, and it is our Honor to welcome him into the Party of COMMON SENSE! There are many others, like Alan, who feel abandoned by the Radical Left Dumocrats, and are fleeing the Dumocrat Party, and Blue States, for FREEDOM — This Book is for you."

This post, shared on Tuesday night, began to circulate on X, and was received with disgust by many conservative and MAGA followers, who have generally felt betrayed by Trump's handling of the Epstein files. One of the biggest names to react on the platform was Rep. Thomas Massie, the outgoing Republican lawmaker who was successfully primaried after his criticism of the president.

"Trump expands his base by welcoming Epstein’s lawyer Alan Dershowitz into MAGA. This should work out great for the midterms," he wrote in a post to X, alongside the famed "This Is Fine" meme.

"'THE Highly Respected' Alan Dershowitz," Buckley Carlson, the son of Tucker Carlson and former JD Vance staffer, wrote on X, sarcastically attributing the quote to, "Donald Trump, world-renowned military strategist, Economist, Ethicist, & Deacon."

"You can’t make this up. Trump just called Jeffrey Epstein’s former lawyer Alan Dershowitz 'highly respected' and endorsed his new book," Kacee Allen, the former Republican podcast, wrote in a post. "I’m sure there’s no connection between the Trump administration covering up the Epstein files and Trump staying on good terms with ALL of Epstein’s former associates. This is the Epstein Administration."

Numerous other reactions emerged from accounts claiming to be conservative or MAGA-aligned, variously calling Trump's post "gross," "crazy" or "evil," and accusing him of "treason" and being a "sleazy traitor."

I didn't write the headline...

MAGA Is In Turmoil Over Tucker Carlson’s Possible 2028 Presidential Bid

A new coalition of high-profile MAGA figures has launched a movement with the aim of running a third party-candidate in the 2028 presidential election. The name at the top of their list: former Fox News star Tucker Carlson.

On Saturday, former US representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia shared a picture on X taken at Carlson’s cabin in Maine, where Greene and Carlson appeared around a large wooden table alongside former representative Thomas Massie and Joe Kent, the former head of the US National Counterterrorism Center.

“We said no more foreign wars and we meant it and supported Donald Trump because he made that promise,” Greene wrote in a caption accompanying the photo. “But he’s betrayed us all. Our commitment is America First for all Americans, right, left, and center. The movement has begun.”

On Tuesday, Carlson shared Greene’s post on his X account and wrote: “MAGA was betrayed. We all were. It's time for a new path forward.” Carlson promised to share more about the group’s plans on his show on Wednesday evening.

On Tuesday evening, Kent appeared on The Young Turks show and revealed that their group has been trying to convince Carlson to run for president in 2028. “I’d say all of us at one point in time told Tucker he needs to run, and Tucker's been pretty public that he's not going to run,” said Kent. “So, we all made our pitch to Tucker as to why he should run, and hopefully he wakes up one day and Tucker says he's going to run.” (In late June, Carlson reiterated that he did not plan to run for office.)

Kent also said the group is exploring the possibility of getting a third-party candidate on the ballot in all 50 states, citing Health secretary Robert F. Kennedy’s struggles ahead of the 2024 election.

Carlson, Massie, Greene, and Kent are among the highest-profile MAGA figures who have split from Trump over the course of the past year, citing his failure to uphold campaign promises like releasing the Epstein files and ending foreign wars. The schism has roiled the Republican Party ahead of November’s midterms, and the decision by the group to run a third-party candidate is likely to deepen that divide.

While some MAGA figures welcomed the news—”Great group,” manosphere livestreamer Sneako wrote under Greene’s picture—there were many more who were very angry.

“He’s a lunatic! Tucker wants to hijack the GOP in 2026 and 2028,” Laura Loomer, a staunch Trump supporter, wrote on X, citing Kent’s interview on The Young Turks. “Will be shorter lived than Musk’s ‘America Party’” the influential MAGA account Captive Dreamer wrote on X in response to Carlson’s post.

Replying to the same post, Phillip Buchanan, the prominent MAGA influencer known as Catturd, wrote on X: “All of you combined have zero pull anymore. You can't even move the needle much less start a movement. Table full of laughingstocks.”

“A set of vultures circling the 2028 election,” David Clements, a prominent election denier, wrote on X quoting Greene’s post. “No, thanks. I'll stand with Trump.”

Carlson did not respond to a request for comment. “President Trump created the greatest political movement in the history of politics with the MAGA movement, and he remains the unequivocal leader of the Republican Party,” White House spokesperson Davis Ingle tells WIRED. “The president is committed to maintaining Republican majorities in Congress and continuing to lower costs for working families.

Meanwhile, this photo represents an embarrassing collection of mostly whiny turncoats who dramatically overestimate their influence and relevance.”

Kent also shared that the aim of the new movement, which he said could eventually become a new party, is to focus on finding a candidate for the 2028 presidential election and to create “a broad coalition” focused on an America First agenda.

“We're done with the foreign wars,” said Kent. “We're done with the foreign lobbying. We're gonna work together to do what's right for the American people.”

Nick Fuentes, the white-nationalist creator of the America First movement who sparked anger within MAGA when Carlson interviewed him last year, dismissed the new group’s efforts.

“They are going to try to create this America First movement without me, but it has to exclude me because it will also be without any kind of strong message on religion, race, or maybe even immigration,” Fuentes wrote on his Telegram channel. “These people will also all support JD Vance in 2028.”

Trump has yet to react to the possibility of Carlson running in the election.

Opinion piece.

I don't regret voting for Trump, but I'm disappointed | Opinion

I voted for President Donald Trump in 2024, and I don't regret it.

In his first year, he delivered on many of his core promises: lower taxes, lower inflation and a secure border. Migrant crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border are now at their lowest level in 50 years.

These are extraordinary feats.

But with the Iran war now passing five months, I'm growing disillusioned with Trump. He's chosen to focus on Iran as much as, if not more than, issues that actually affect everyday Americans. It's proving to be an extraordinary unforced error, and it's backfiring: The polls are starting to show it.

Trump's Iran war is an endless drain on US

Trump's Iran war, which was supposed to take weeks, has drained U.S. resources significantly, costing taxpayers $37.5 billion so far. According to Reuters, the U.S. Army has used up most of its stockpile of long-range missiles, leaving the nation vulnerable for the foreseeable future.

Meanwhile, despite constant talk of diplomacy and ceasefires, there's no actual resolution in sight. Every day brings news of another negotiation that fails to materialize. Toward the end of July, Trump threatened to bomb power plants or bridges in Iran.

Then, on Aug. 3, Trump said, "I want to give them every last chance before decapitation. … We'll see what happens." He has said time and again that a "deal is imminent." Yet "The Art of the Deal" eludes the dealmaker in chief.

At first, I argued that pressuring Iran like this was strategic, not stupid – a pointed tactic. I supported the goal of Operation Epic Fury: ending Iran's totalitarian regime.

I believe that Iran's nuclear capabilities posed a threat to America, though how to handle that threat raised harder questions.

But the months since Feb. 28 have been an endless merry-go-round of threats, pressure and ceasefire attempts that go nowhere. The Babylon Bee, a satirical website, captured the charade well in an Aug. 4 post: "Trump Warns Iran This Is Their Fourth-To-Last Chance At Peace."

It'd be funnier if it weren't hurting Americans.

Americans are turning on Trump

The RealClearPolitics average shows that 61% of Americans disapprove of how the president is handling Iran and the economy.

An Economist/YouGov poll published July 28 found that 43% of "non-MAGA" Republicans disapprove of Trump. That's a lot of unhappy people.

The Iran war has directly affected gas prices, which have stayed high for months and won't be coming down anytime soon. It's also raising the threat of higher inflation. Though for now, incredibly, inflation has fallen to 3.5% in June from 4.2% in May. That's still a boon for Trump, and for Americans.

But this isn't what Americans voted for, largely because of Trump's own promises. He was wary of Iran and emphasized deterrence, but he also campaigned on an "America First" agenda and a "no new wars" policy.

After winning reelection in 2024, Trump declared, "I'm not going to start a war. I'm going to stop wars."

I still believe Iran's threat needed to be handled, forcefully and finally, at some point. But part of Trump's populist appeal was that he'd focus on the everyday issues plaguing Americans, like the economy and immigration.

One of my hopes for the Trump administration was that his populism would appeal to a broader range of voters and win some of them over to conservative ideas, like lower taxes and border security. But the Iran war has been a huge stumbling block to that. If this is conservatism, then no thanks, they'll say. Even if he deserves credit for last year's accomplishments, the Iran war has been such a blight that it's hard to ignore.

I'm not naive enough to believe there's a direct correlation between high grocery and housing prices and the Iran war. Foreign affairs don’t make my grocery bill top $1,000 a month. But rightly or wrongly, a nearly $40 billion war will eventually hit Americans' bottom line – and their view of the president who started it.

Watching Trump go round and round with Iran, as the military nearly depletes its own stockpile of munitions and Americans struggle to pay for gas and groceries, feels a bit like watching a CEO slash office supply budgets while quietly running the company into the ground.

Trump still has my support. But I'm more and more disappointed with his ongoing conflict with Iran. And so are millions of Americans.

They have delivery systems.

They are a space faring nation. The have civilian and military space program and build domestic satellites. Their ballistic missiles hit targets in Israel and they arm Houthis with missiles.

Iran can hit Ukraine and perhaps London - last year.

What do you think they do in the subterranean cities? Mushrooms?

China and Russia don't have to give them delivery systems.
I have never heard of Iran launching a rocket to outer space. Not even to Earth orbit. They damn sure can't now. Not saying it's not true, but apparently you have access to intelligence I don't.

The problem listing out all the problems that has been put down as Trump's fault is that the crew in the OP, or whomever the runs the movement, won't be running against Trump. They'll be fighting the same thing that took down the Dems in several areas ... blasting away that it is all Trumps fault does not and will never get the job done.

Instead of blathering on about what Trump is not, they better get their butt going and figure out what they are and how they intend to right whatever injustice they are invested in.

Trump's presidency sets the tone for his successor. At this point the Republican successor is either Vance or Rubio. They are both heavily involved in the current events with Trump, they will have no choice but to answer for some of the decisions made over the past year, the Dem's will ensure that. Case in point:

Vice President JD Vance is asked if there is “daylight” between him and President Trump on the Iran War: “No. He makes the decisions and we all try to implement the decisions.”

That seems to be exactly what is happening now.

1992 Ross Perot Fracture on STEROIDS, incoming.

God, even this prediction came true.

So avoidable.

Tragic end for the GOP.

P.S. We polled this. The Tucker Ticket gets Perot levels before spending a dime.

We polled more potentials, too.

Totally avoidable.

Btw, while ofc they take more from the right, it's in no small part because they take so many right-leaning indies to include former MAGA.

You might just be surprised how many Democrats they take, too.

Still hard to call them a "spoiler" since the GOP is losing, regardless.

Neocons are refusing to acknowledge the massive political costs of high prices because they don’t want to admit the Iran war has made things worse for anyone.

The belief that war has zero downsides is fundamental dogma for neocons. To admit war might make things worse is heresy to them. Maybe even blasphemy. They cannot do it. War makes them richer and makes them feel warm and happy and morally superior, and they simply have no theory of mind for anyone who sees the world differently.

The Iraq war gave us Obama, and eventually Biden (in addition to thousands of Americans killed or injured and trillions of dollars incinerated), and yet the neocons still think the whole thing was awesome. The U.S. spent two decades and trillions of dollars replacing the Taliban with the Taliban, and the only thing that made the neocons mad about that was that we didn’t spend more time or money there.

Neocons are lying about the economic impact of the war and mocking the suffering of people dealing with those costs because it is impossible for them to even conceptualize the downsides of war.

And if you don’t believe me, just read their own words.
