those three animals can be difficult to read if you are not trained to see the signs, and since everyone looks at them as sweet and cute animals, they don't give them enough respect. a tiger you KNOW can kill you or hurt you and you stay away from. lol

I've never tangled with a roo or an ostrich - nor do I want to - but, believe it or not, in southern Africa ostriches are grown for meat on large farms. Yes, they have a reputation for being dangerous. In the US we have beef jerky. In southern Africa, they have "biltong" which is very similar, but cut much thicker. Really good biltong might be .5" to .75" thick and still be slightly pink and soft in the center.

Now, believe it or not, they also have ostrich biltong which is widely sold in convenience stores and butcher shops!

I have eaten both ostrich burger and scrambled ostrich eggs. Not bad really. Though I didn’t tell the ex what she was eating until after the fact. . I kinda liked the shade of green on her face.

Red Kangaroos can grow to over six feet tall and have HUGE claws on those STRONG back legs. ALL roos and wallabies use the same method of fighting; grip with the forelegs and rake with the hind. Those back claws can and do disembowel.
