Maybe things will get so bad, all these universities will go under and our kids wont have a "college education" for the next generation and this country can get back to normalcy without indoctrinated kids.
The "apprentice system" had a good rationale.

Rusty (Farrier) says he went to "Trade School" - but didn't learn equine shoeing there - rather, an "old timer" took him under his wing and eventually Rusty bought out the business.

Have you noticed the same green tents & printed signs at these Hamas encampments?

We figured out why

These occupations are being coordinated by the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR)

The Nut Zone Failed

“Were the snipers on the rooftop really necessary?”

That was my first question when reading about the protests at my alma mater over the weekend. In the span of three days, Indiana State Police arrested over 50 pro-Palestine protesters at Indiana University, Bloomington. Curiously, those arrests wouldn’t have been possible without a last-minute change to a 55-year-old campus policy around the use of “temporary structures.” Which, let’s be real, we’re talking about a bunch of tents from Walmart.

Regardless of whether you agree with the politics of the pro-Gaza encampments that have cropped up on at least 50 US universities, you have to admit that they’ve generated a lot of noise. We’ve seen over 1,000 arrests. Open letters from faculty. Excellent student journalism. Canceled graduation ceremonies. Votes of no confidence. Poetry readings. And don’t forget the designated “nut zones.”

But despite all those things, the protestors have not accomplished their stated goal of divestment from Israel. And they likely never will, says Stephen Carter. “This isn’t a conclusion I reach lightly,” he writes (free read).

-1x-1.png

Just this morning, Columbia University President Minouche Shafik sent an email to the community saying the university “will not divest from Israel,” after negotiators “were not able to come to an agreement.” The administration also sent a notice to the encampment, giving the students there a 2 p.m. deadline to leave or face immediate suspension, a deadline many protestors — including some staffers — chose to ignore:

Cry me a river. Send them all packing to Gaza. See how well they are treated there.

It is none of his damn business. And this has nothing whatsoever to do with "pro Palestinians". It is nothing more and nothing less than a repeat of Mao Zedong's "Cultural Revolution" and the attempt to kill America and turn it fully communist. Anyone that thinks otherwise is beyond naive.

Cal Poly Humboldt has been cited in the New York Times as the most successful occupation of a university building. The article requires registering before viewing. So I cannot post it.

In the wee hours of the morning about forty occupiers were detained and sent off to the local jail. A few resisted arrest. Then the LEOs “aggressively” tore down the tents set up on the quad and around campus.

I prayed last night for there safety for the officers. I had to turn off the live stream because the vile crap been shouting by the demonstrators and the stupidity of them.

The Blue Lake Rancheria which is tribal received harassing calls and threats because the allowed law enforcement from out of the area lodge there.

In one news report it was reported that a fella drove to the campus blaring country music and argued with a couple of protestors to start some debate. Lots of crazy unproven rumors going about.

Crazy times in Ho hum county.

“We need more people.”

It’s a point of entry way, not a hand cranked can opener!

These low energy donut dunkers could not compare to the 60’s radicals.

Thank God for the five point swivel chair, and the mouse.

Soros' whole family needs to be taken down. FBI needs to do their job and get on National Security and Domestic Terrorism investigations. Then dismantle them. We are seeing no less a threat today from Islam than Nazism and Communism. Islam wants to dismantle the West and, especially the USA.

Turn the water, sewer, and electric off to those buildings. Don't let food in or out. Don't let trash out. Barricade them in. Lock them in. No internet. After all that is all elitist stuff anyway. Right? Teach those commie crapheads what their leaders really want for this country.

Harvard Protesters Raise Palestinian Flags On University Building, In Spot Reserved For American Flag

Harvard protesters chanted 'Shame!' when university staff removed the flags

Anti-Israel protesters at Harvard University raised Palestinian flags on campus Saturday in a spot typically reserved for the American flag.

Harvard protesters hoisted three Palestinian flags over the Harvard Yard encampment, where students have been sleeping in tents since Wednesday. The flags were raised on poles attached to University Hall–where Harvard usually flies the American flag or flags of the countries of visiting foreign dignitaries.

Approximately one hour after three keffiyeh-clad individuals raised the flags, the Ivy League university's staff removed them despite jeering from protesters who were chanting "Shame!" and "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free."

According to Harvard University spokesman Jonathan L. Swain, raising flags is "a violation of University policy and the individuals involved will be subjected to disciplinary action."

The American flag was not flying on Saturday because university procedures dictate that "the American flag is raised in front of University Hall each Monday through Friday at 7 a.m. and lowered at 4 p.m., for proper storage."

The move came just an hour after the school’s Dean of Students, Tom Dunne, sent out an email warning that those who continue to participate in the unauthorized encampment would face disciplinary action. However, Dunne gave no deadline for students to disperse.

"Let me be clear: Maintaining and participating in this extensive encampment of tents in Harvard Yard constitutes an ongoing violation of University rules by interfering with the normal activities and operations of our campus and disrupting the work of fellow students and other Harvard community members," said the email.

"Those participating in the ongoing encampment and associated activities will face disciplinary consequences as outlined in existing policies. Repeated or sustained violations will be subjected to increased sanctions."

Organizers with Harvard Out of Occupied Palestine posted a photo of the flags to social media with the caption "WE FLY FOR PALESTINE." The student group also called upon the university to "agree to meet our demands to disclose and divest from Israeli apartheid and occupation," saying that they will not leave until then.

Harvard’s encampment is part of a larger solidarity movement with Columbia University’s "Gaza Solidarity" tent encampment and others that have sprung up across the country. Earlier in the week, protesters at the Ivy League institution rallied against the school’s decision to suspend the Palestine Solidarity Committee for the rest of the spring term over an alleged policy violation.

Don't bother arresting them. Just let the colleges handle the mess they created by allowing these kids to be indoctrinated in the first place. Has anyone seen how many colleges across the country went under last year?
according to google - 54 public just since 2020.

The only other statistic I was able to find quickly states that since 2004 - 861 colleges and over 9000 campuses have closed. According to that article many colleges closed satellite campuses or merged with another college which closed campuses.

Enrollments will continue to decline and I don't agree with the author of the article. It's not just because of declining birth rates (although that doesn't help). I've got more than one kid who decided to go to the community college or go online because they don't want to deal with the BS at most public universities and they didn't all get a full scholarship to Hillsdale. They don't believe in student loans either.

They want the freaks to be beaten to start Civil War 2.

That's why I favor hauling them all off to the police station for processing. Let the "Red Team" handle the violent ones. They can subdue them without leaving marks. I'm also concerned about culling out the leaders and any illegals. The rank and file can be fined and released. Some of the rank and file will be "scared straight" if they are fingerprinted and have a large enough fine.

And, yes, go after Soros and those who are funding this nonsense. They are the real problems.
