Although it is not my daily use can opener, I bought a couple of vintage Swing A Way can openers (from the 1970's - 1980's) from Etsy, which were "close to new". They were a bit pricey (about $20-$25 each), and I have one in the kitchen and another one in the stock room.
You can find them cheaper, but I was very picky when looking at the pictures to find one that was in the best possible condition that I could.

I also bought several of these sorts of repair kits (made in the USA) for about $10-$12 each from Etsy as well. Haven't used them, but reviews from others seemed pretty solid.

In theory, if the supply chain stops and we can't get can openers any more hopefully these will last me the remainder of my life (or for as long as can can still be gotten) so I don't have to use my stock of P-38 and P-51's.
