…… Looking for info on the book Operation Blackout by Teddy Daniels

I’ve done a search here, on eBay, and using a search engine. A little back story will help..

My daughter is extremely good at her job, extremely smart and is totally fearless. She married a good guy but he is blind to what is going on around us. She defers to his world view, despite seeing and knowing my position and what I’m doing. I’ve given her the info for this forum and I‘ve shared articles/news, etc. to no avail. Apparently she came across a pod cast of this guy, Teddy Daniels and I got a call out of the blue tonight…she was scared, really spooked.
Synopsis of call… whats H.E.M.P, is it true, don’t preach just teach, how much cash do I need on hand, etc.

I explained what I know about the subject and then rolled into mainly the water and food aspect. The husband hunts and also takes the kids once or twice a season, so I’m not going there. Had a good conversation but I just had to go see what / who put a burr up her butt.

Teddy Daniels is bombastic, loud, pushy, a Purple Heart veteran of Afghanistan, is/was running for office, drew flack from the dems, and has now published a book called Operation Blackout. Yes, he was pushing a sale … really pushing a sale but could only find one book review, that was also selling his book.

As much as I despise “hawkers of doom & salvation” I’m tempted to purchase it for her, read thru it and see if any / how many, holes in his “guidance” jumps out at me. I’ll make her give me half of the asking price which is steep to me, but if this got her up off her rear end and concerned…. Well then it is money we’ll spent in my opinion.

So, my question is, does anyone on the forum have any info or insight on this book and what it contains?

So the exact title is Operation Blackout: How to Survive 365 Days of Darkness by Teddy Daniels. It is less than a month old and self published. And I can't find a download anywhere. I also can't find an ISBN anywhere. All reviews are shill sites that get paid for clickthrus that actually buy the book.

I'm guessing this is a recap of available info rewrapped as a money grab. Reddit isn't kind to this guy at all. I would hard pass on the purchase and send her an equivalent that has been vetted.

If she insists on this one, bump this thread in a about a month and I'll check again if it has made it to the interwebs. But I am guessing it probably won't because its going to be a small amount of copies sold via private site and it won't hit the web unless it goes out with an ISBN.

He has to send a copy to the people that do book reviews. Not sure what todays book rate is with the postoffice but the last time I used it! $2.00 per book.

ETA- Operation Blackout Reviews - Legit Survival Book or Fake Emergency Preparedness Guide? | Kirkland Reporter

snippity-

Disasters can strike when least expected, upending our way of life and challenging our very survival. Natural disasters, wars, pandemics – history has seen them all, but few warnings have been as chilling as that of Teddy Daniels. A former cop and soldier, Teddy Daniels possesses insights into the complexities of societal structures and the frailties that underlie them. Drawing on his vast experiences, he has penned a detailed survival guide titled “Operation Blackout: How to Survive 365 Days of Darkness.”

The central premise of Daniels’ guide is stark: he postulates that America is on the cusp of experiencing a catastrophe like never before – a prolonged period of 365 days without light. This isn’t merely a blackout in the electrical sense but a broader, more devastating darkness that could witness up to 90% of the population succumbing to starvation, chaos, and societal breakdown.

Such a scenario might seem straight out of a dystopian novel, but is there a grain of truth to it? Can America indeed face such a dire situation in the near future? And if so, how can one best prepare to navigate through such challenging times?

Daniels’ Operation Blackout promises answers, tools, and strategies. Operation Blackout reviews are overall positive, and readers appreciate the precious information provided by Teddy.

But is it the definitive guide you need to protect your family and thrive against adversity?

In this comprehensive Operation Blackout review, we’ll delve deep into the contents of this survival program, exploring its credibility, the lessons it offers, and whether it’s the best choice for those keen on preparing for the worst. So keep on reading.

IMO our way of life is already over, we just haven't realized it yet. And the whole thing seems to me a pretty far reach to hang on a single I Forgot To Duck medal. Doesn't he have a line of survival food too?

Doomer books are similar to war books or romance novels.

They rehash basic timeless principles.

Forstchen's books might light a fire under her. Try to gently steer her AWAY from event specific prepping. Jmo

Snip frm the Bainbridge Review above:

Operation Blackout, a survival program created by Teddy Daniels, has its roots in a sobering revelation — the discovery of a congressional report that paints a chilling picture of a potential future threat to the United States. According to Daniels, this report hints at the ominous prospect of a nuclear attack on American soil, an eventuality allegedly orchestrated by two global superpowers, China and Russia. The gravity of this revelation cannot be overstated, as it suggests the potential for a year-long blackout, a scenario that could result in significant loss of life, affecting up to 90% of the American population.

Of course Joe Biden's comments about "Dark Winter" come to mind. Since he has a direct connection to the global mindset of "new world order" and particularly the CCP.

Ted Koppel's book on same subject screamed at me as conditioning the populace to the possibility.

My concern is our current leaders are just as apt to inflict this on us as the bad ol' foreigners. Jmo

lights out by david crawford is a good emp/end of world read.
Yep…already sent it to her…hope she really reads it and thinks about the abstract and the concrete meat world implications. Like I said, she is very, very smart, just not sure she has the capability at this time to fully grasp all of the scenario. She’s been conditioned at work and by her husband to be unable to get past her normalcy bias. The best news is, that she’s starting to think and delve into the possibilities and ramifications of not doing anything. If and once she sees it she will be a force to be reckoned with
