Twice, I've stayed in Fredericksburg, no issues.
A Holiday Inn and then another motel, but don't remember the name?
Both motels were very nice and just off a very busy highway.
We only traveled by charter bus in both directions, to DC and south of
Fredericksburg to a compound for training.
The traffic in that area of the country is off the chart bat shit crazy.
