Why all of a sudden is there no coins or cash? There is something going on here and I don't think it's that they stopped printing money temporarily. Businesses are surely receiving and depositing cash.

It's their plan to go to a cashless society; then on to chip implants.

Because cash spreads coronachan, doncha know. Gotta get rid of it ready or not. That cashess society thing is just a conspiracy theory, like the one that says the Fed is not part of the government. So don't worry bout it.

I spent 9 hours moving yesterday and another 9 hours cleaning today. Just got internet fired up again. wow!!!!!! Cash crisis everywhere. One of the movers said "that's something about Whole Food not taking cash in this area any more." I had no idea....

I went to Dunkin yesterday at 6 am for coffee. I tried to use my Paypal business card with thousands on it (no joke). Declined for a $3 coffee. After two hours on hold with Paypal the finally said "We're sorry but all business cards are down right now." My Chase card got shut off due to "Chip Malfunction."

WTH??????????? Something is in the wind....

Maybe they are trying to stop people from pulling their money out of the banks. Maybe even put it back in.

Thanks, I was going to post something similar tonight. We went to Walmart in the nearest town this afternoon, and went through the self service checkout, only to find that all but a couple of the machines had been switched to credit or debit only.

The Walmart employee in the self service checkout area told us that they had shut down the entire self service checkout on the other side of the store in order to give the coin change and small bills from the machines to the "belt cashiers", for however long that might sustain them.

BS indeed, as someone above mentioned. We're in the end game - if it's not one thing it will be another, from now to the finish line. Bring it suckadoos, might as well get this party started.

So, if I am reading you correctly, it seems that you are saying that we will all get an EBT and we must transfer money from our other accounts to that EBT. Is that what you are saying?????

No

When the banking system gets fritzed and bank cards are useless for most of us, the EBT crowd will still have access to their free money.

It's what keeps them kinda pacified.

The local and Of America’s atm hasn’t been able to do deposits or withdrawals for 2 weeks now, lobby is closed due to wu flu.......another BOA about 15 miles away is fine....

Kroger in suburban Memphis just put up signs this morning saying that you have to use exact change, or let them round your bill up to the nearest dollar (with the difference going to their Feed the Hunger charity program), or let the change be recorded on your customer loyalty card for use in a future visit. Or pay with a credit card. Wish I had a picture of the sign, but I was in a hurry - my wife was sick and I needed to get her a prescription for nausea.
