Anyone here have opinion of it or maybe even used one?
Never used one but boy are they pricey.

I guess they have a purpose if you are going to be on a constant bugout / run.

Otherwise a Berkey ( Home made or otherwise) would be less expensive and just as good IMHO

Got a link to the actual item in the OP?

Somebody posted a link to a siphon type filter in the last few days.

IIRC, it was less than 40 bux.

Drop in in the can and let it work.

Rolled membrane filtration, out does the Mil Spec for Viri etc. Pump pressurized, can be used for showering (with the addition of a pump slave), etc

They ARE proud of it though, given the prices.

I'm seeing a 5gal jug with a filter in it.

Seems horridly expensive for what it is.

Looks good on the back of a Land Rover tho.

The siphon filter plug was from me (as usual). Firstly I have no interest in the company other than as a satisfied repeat customer, and trying to help people make better decisions on water filters.

All you need is that and two containers, make sure your 'catch' container is bigger than your supply container. Capillary action will start it flowing when the candle is submerged and it will drain the supply container. Flow rate is pretty fast, too, though I have never timed it.
