AVOID the shingles shot!

If you come down with it like I did, just make sure you have North American Herb & Spice's P73 Oreganol oil. 2 drops under tongue, morning and night for 2 days, (be sure to have chocolate milk chaser), and rub on topically where it hurts, (pain WILL STOP within 30 seconds), and shingles cleared up for me within 48 hours. Not only worked for me but another friend who got the shingles.

I bought this off Amazon in 2017..it was $18.00.

I had the 2-dose shingrix vaccine for shingles several years ago. Normally I don't do vaccines. I did some research on this one compared to the shingles risk and decided to take it. No effects other than a sore arm for a day after the first shot.

Got them December 23, 2023. From the sternum all around my right chest to my back and spine. Didn't sleep for three days and loss of appetite from pain. Four months later still dealing with a couple of spots but most are gone. Don't wish that on anyone. Never had vaccine but did have a bad case of chicken pox when I was probably 4. Don't think I will take the new vaccine since I just don't trust them.

Vitamin B12 is also supposed to be helpful. It is best absorbed with pills in a form designed to apply sublingual (under tongue), so that it can go directly into the system, not through regular digestion.

Here's a study I found with a quick search:

Results: Four trials including 383 participants were published between 2013 and 2016. Compared with the placebo group, the Vitamin B12 group exhibited a significant decrease in the Numeric Rating Scale score, with a mean difference of -4.01 (95% confidence interval = -4.70 to -3.33). Vitamin B12 administration improved the quality of life of PHN patients with moderate quality evidence and significantly decreased the number of patients using analgesics.

Conclusion: Vitamin B12 appears to be an attractive complementary therapy for PHN patients. Further investigation is needed before conclusive recommendations can be made.

PHN is post-herpetic neuralgia, which is another term for shingles.

I've not had shingles so far. I didn't get chicken pox until I was in midlife (early 40's), and I'm close to 70 now.

So the current shingles vaccine is not mRNA, shingrix (developed in 2017) is nonrecombinant subunit, and zostavax (developed in 2006) is attenuated, basically a larger dose of varicella vaccine. I haven’t kept up to date on the ins and outs of those, I’m not in the age bracket yet, although I had a mild case of shingles in my 30s.

My understanding, the shingles vaccine has the most insistences of confirmed side effects, and according to some people, it’s pretty gnarly. It also has a lower efficacy and wanes much faster than initially thought. There is at least 1 mRNA vaccine in development, but there are SEVERAL different ones in development, to be fair.

I actually *just* had a friend who had a full breakout in his 40s, in his face/eyes. He suffered to the extent that his wife went and got her shingles vaccine, lol. I asked her how she felt, she said so far so good, and we commiserated over the fact that the meds prescribed are the same for herpes, and we both were very vocal when we picked up to repeatedly mention SHINGLES! This is for SHINGLES.

Honestly, I feel like this a YMMV type of thing. My case was very mild, a small spot on my back (brought on by an illness and still doing 9-10 hard workouts a week), but it hurt SO DANG BAD, I never want full blownsies. But like with everything, ya gotta decide for yourself. I don’t take the flu vaccine either, but as I get older, I consider it more. I may take it in the future, I may not. I try to do a better job of managing my pre-existing conditions and taking better care of myself. I guess I’ll look more into it in the next 10 years or so.
I would consider the flu vaccine the most useless thing out there, lower than tits on a boar. They probably miss the variants every year, and we have elderberry, vitamin D3, zinc, etc. Check FLCCC protocols, and avoid Tamiflu.

Aside from the distrust of the medical establishment after C19.

After my bought with the , my md stated the vac was only 50% effective at best.
And many insurance’s won’t cover it due to cost
Iirc at that time was 300.00 ish

And I always remember that there has never been a successful virus Vax developed. Why, the virus continually mutates. That is why the flu Vax has minimal efficacy. I learned a lot when I wrote a research paper on the flu virus in nursing school.

I had.shingles in about 2017 and it.did travel into my right eye which was a bit scary. So I became fan of the newer vax, but that was until Covid. No way would I get that thing now. When I feel like a relapse is coming, I immediately start downing Lysine and thiamine, as.recommended by my pharmacist who uses it on himself.

I've had the shingles vaccine (it's not an MRna vaccine, think it's an attenuated live vaccine) and have had zero effects from the shot. Had the Pneumovax (think that's how it's spelled) pneumonia vaccine as well. No aftereffects.

I did get the Johnson and Johnson coronavirus vaccine some time back. Again, no side effects.

In my instance at least, all of the vaccines were safe and effective. Either that or I'm very well preserved from all the meds I take.

"A must-read especially if you still think vaccines are provably safe and effective!”

—Stephanie Seneff, PhD, senior research scientist at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory

- Jabbed demonstrates that the medical procedure hailed as the greatest medical advancement in history—vaccines—is a racket run by criminals and gullible believers who have replaced vaccine science with the religion of vaccinology.

Vaccine marketers teach believers to fear, shame, and scapegoat anyone foolish enough to question the sanctity of vaccines. Such an environment is not the domain of science; rather it’s the breeding ground of tyranny.

Jabbed exposes this tyranny. From polio and smallpox to medical journals, medical curricula, congressional hearings, regulatory policies, White House statements, and executive orders, Jabbed shines light on the dark underbelly of Big Pharma, Big Medicine, and Big Government.

A vaccine informed public is the only thing that will have the power to stop vaccine industry sociopaths and to hold them accountable for their crimes.

Jabbed informs and immunizes against three of the most dangerous epidemics in history: tyranny, greed, and corruption. Once immunized, the growing vaccine-informed community will have the power to stand up and dismantle the vaccine paradigm and program and to punish the perpetrators of what may well be the greatest medical fraud ever perpetrated on the human race: Vaccines.

Those of you refusing the vaccine - do a serious brush-up on the symptoms of shingles, and remember them.

Statistically, 1/3 of the susceptible population (anyone who's ever had chicken pox) will come down with at least one case. As documented on this thread - shingles is nothing to mess around with. Catch it early, within the first few days, and the anti-virals can save you a LOT of misery and permanent damage.

Yep... and they are available from alldaychemist. I stocked some a couple years ago... enough for 6 full courses of treatment "just in case".

Although... last year, I developed what I first thought was ringworm, on my lower back. It was circular/oval, itched-but not badly, and became a slightly raised lesion about 2x3". I tried multiple treatments, including tea tree oil ( which works quickly ringworm, and colloidal silver. Nothing touched it.

I had hubby take a couple of pictures (including a small ruler for reference), and then decided to try some cannabis oil. It literally knocked it down overnight, and it disappeared in less than a week!

So...ma couple months later, I was in to see my PCP, and showed him the picture. He immediately said, " shingles"! Hmmm... certainly not my first thought!

But if that's what it was... it sure responded to the cannabis oil quickly!

Wow! Great information!
That was a topical application BTW! I rubbed into the lesion 3-4 times a day... After the first couple of days, I had to make a mental note to remind myself to apply it...any symptoms beyond what was visible had vanished.

Just remember, though... He never saw the spot... Even the persistent discoloration had already completely faded. In contrast, I've got a spot on my leg that has finally faded to a medium pink... FOURTEEN MONTHS after being bitten by a tick carrying Lyme disease! I'm apparently immune from a previous bout with Lyme, as a blood test showed "strong" antibodies. It wasn't from that tick... it wasn't on me long enough to transmit it, plus I took a preventive dose of Doxycycline as soon as I removed it. But, it sure had a nasty, very localized reaction, which has taken a LONG time to completely resolve.

So, the fact the entire "shingles" rash was gone within a week, and all discoloration had vanished before my appointment 5 weeks later... seems noteworthy. This Doc is one of the best I've seen... Best primary care we've ever had. He's both knowledgeable and open minded, and we both learned a lot from each other. So, I'm going to trust his diagnosis... But also remembering how often someone would describe a problem, or even show me a picture, and want a diagnosis! IF they were able to answer relevant questions (and this was about as common whether they were talking about a two legged or four legged patient) sometimes it fit something clearly enough that I could suggest some help. But more than half the time, no, they hadn't taken their temperature, yes, they take "pills", but no idea why!

Anyway, don't take it as absolute gospel... But as you say, its good info.

But I've got something even more interesting... for Lyme disease!

DSs pigs got Lyne last summer. They were bad... Joints enlarged and painful enough they didn't want to walk to the feed pans, much less forage.

It didn't get caught early, as hubby didn't feel comfortable pressing the subject when they blew him off when he reported the first, " odd" lameness. Then it all blew up because "they can't have antibiotics!!! Ever!! hey aren't certified organic, but apparently the biggest deal is *no antibiotics! Ever!!"

Ooookay... But the organic agreements ALL state that if an effective organic treatment is not available, a conventional treatment MUST be given, for the welfare of the animal.

And I hadn't found anything in the natural/herbal realm that would treat Lyme... And believe me, I tried!

But I was vetoed, and they loaded them on a trailer and hauled them a couple hundred yards to a neighbor's waste patch of Japanese Knotweed. I've known and used knotweed for various viral issues... Especially four type viruses. But I've never used it as an antibacterial... Never knew it might work.

Over the following two weeks, all four pigs recovered...about the time they finished off an acre or so of Knotweed , and needed to be kept home.

This likely was them eating both tops and roots. I'd try a decoction of the root (chop and simmer or percolate... Like coffee) . The tops I'd use for tea, or try shade drying and then grinding for capsules or in smoothies.

No guarantees, but I've learned a new trick! And apparently not ALL YouTube videos are total baloney!

Many years ago we went and picked up a rescue...he had been abandoned by his owner..
who we knew slightly...we knew the dog he was a totally sweet fellow...half lab half chow...
He was totally covered with engorged ticks..when we picked him up..they were falling off him in the truck...he was about 3 years old at that time..
Our vet tested him for Lyme...he was high positive ... we started him on an adult dose of Olive Leaf extract...in one month our vet tested him again..he was low positive...a month later he tested negative... he lived to be 17... With no hip or heath problems... our vet was blown away...
We take one capsule of Olive Leaf Extract daily to keep us well...we live in a tick heavy area..often when DH finds a tick on him...it is dead...if not we apply a drawing salve ..
to pull out the poison...the bites usually totally resolved in less than 10 days
Olive Leaf Extract works on:
All:
Viral Infections
Bacterial Infections
Yeast Infections
Fungal Infections

Reduces Blood Pressure
Reduces Glucose Levels
Lowers Cholesterol Levels
Lowers Triglycerides

Is Anti Cancerous
Is Anti Parasitic

All and all it is a pharmacy in a bottle
We have taken it for years along with a couple of other things and no longer get viral infections..been around twenty years ..since we have even had a cold...
