Food Less Mess-Making Dog Treats

Has No Life - Lives on TB
In the post "Old Wheat Flour/Dog Treats" I use SouthernBreeze's dog treat recipe except I use wet milk no water and powdered peanut butter instead of garlic or ginger.

The subject of this post is a cleaner quicker way to make them. Less mess to clean up in the kitchen is always better.

When you get to the point where the dough is ready spread a cookie sheet size piece of parchment paper on the counter and put the dough in the middle then cover it with a piece of waxed paper. Flatten it out with your hands then roll it out with a rolling pin. Then when it is the right size slide it onto the cookie sheet parchment paper side on the bottom and peel off the waxed paper. I use a pizza cutter to score the dough and then bake it.

There is no mess to clean up on the counter, your rolling pin is clean, and when the treats cool down they break apart easily where they were scored.

I don't make pie dough but I bet it would work for that too.
