Artur Pawlowski, the Pastor of the Cave of Adullam Church in Calgary, Alberta, Canada was swarmed by police and arrested after holding an “illegal” church service on Saturday.

You may remember Pawlowski as the brave pastor who shouted down police officers who interrupted his church service during Holy Week.

“Out of this property you Nazis! Gestapo is not allowed here!” he shouted to police officers interrupting his church service during Easter weekend. “Out, Nazi! Out! Nazis are not welcome here! Do not come back here you Nazi psychopaths!”

Pawlowski and his flock kicked out the Gestapo again this weekend.

Active Duty USAF Lt Col Lohmeier Releases Scholarly Work Warning Of Maoist Revolution In US Military

Active Duy USAF Lt Col Lohmeier Releases Scholarly Work Warning Of Maoist Revolution In US Military

Please Follow us on Gab, Minds, Telegram, Rumble, Gab TV

Every U.S. military officer takes an oath to support the Constitution of the United States against all enemies ‘foreign and domestic’. America definitely has domestic enemies, right now, attempting to destroy the republic. Many are in the Department of Defense.

The enemy is within the gates.

Lt Col Matthew Lohmeier, USAF, takes his oath seriously, and has written a scholarly work describing the current threat of cultural Marxism in our armed forces.

You can buy his book here. Every military member needs to read this work.

Rumble video on website 34:29 min
—————————-
The book’s description is below:

Irresistible Revolution is a timely and bold contribution from an active-duty Space Force lieutenant colonel who sees the impact of a neo-Marxist agenda at the ground level within our armed forces. In it, author Matthew Lohmeier provides answers to many important questions that Americans are currently asking: Is systemic racism a reality, or is much of our talk about race merely a rhetorical tool used to divide Americans? Why has the Defense Department suddenly shifted to a focus on extremism within the ranks? Is there really a white supremacy or white nationalist problem within our armed forces?

Are the many Diversity and Inclusion trainings that are being conducted in our federal agencies helping solve these problems, or are they creating conflict where none previously existed? What is Marxism, and what does it have to do with all of this?

Though pundits often appear perplexed by current policy decisions being made in our country, our apparent missteps are part of a longstanding plot against America, patiently and methodically pursued by those with a mind intent on the overthrow of the US Government and its replacement with a communist dictatorship. Unfortunately, many of those now furthering that agenda do so unwittingly.

After becoming aware of the Marxist conquest of American society, you will never again look at things in the same way. Mainstream media, social media, the public education system (including universities), as well as federal agencies have all become vessels of various schools of thought that are rooted in Marxist ideology – an ideology bent on the destruction of America’s history, of Western tradition, specifically Judeo-Christian values, and of patriotism and conservatism.

Marxism’s sinister and dark agenda has led the country into what some have called a cold civil war. The problem has become systemic, a tragedy considering that the defeat of Marxist-communist ideology was the very cause against which our nation spent great treasures of blood and iron during much of the twentieth century.

The book’s three-part framework begins with a discussion of the greatness of the American ideal (including the importance of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the notions of individual and civil liberties), transitions to an examination of the history and overarching narrative of Marxist ideology (specifically Marx’s and Engels’ Communist Manifesto wherein the oppressor vs. oppressed narrative is developed), and concludes by looking into the ongoing transformation of America’s military culture and military policy, while also providing a warning about where the country is headed if we choose to not make an immediate course correction.

Irresistible Revolution also covers a breadth of hot topics everyone is hearing and talking about – topics that actually have implications for our national security: woke ideology, cancel culture, identity politics, the Black Lives Matter movement, anti-racism, postmodernism, political correctness, and critical and cynical theories, to include critical race theory. Lohmeier’s penetrating and common sense look at current events within our military and across American society is a sublimely unique contribution that is certain to be shared, referenced, and discussed for years to come. Every American, including every US military servicemember, needs to read and understand the Irresistible Revolution.

Rock Legend Roger Daltrey Of ‘The Who’ Slams Woke Culture Of The Left: ‘Will Lead To Misery’

By Mike LaChance
Published May 8, 2021 at 11:46pm
Roger-Daltrey.jpg

Roger Daltrey, the lead singer for the classic rock band The Who, is not a fan of the new ‘woke’ left.

During a recent interview, Daltrey made it clear that people of the new left are going down a road to nowhere.

It’s refreshing to see people in the arts speaking up about this.

Spiked Online reported:

Roger Daltrey takes on the woke generation
Wokeness is a completely regressive phenomenon. It is censorious and divisive. But more than anything, wokeness is just boring. From comedy to literature to music, it saps the energy and the fun out of life as it desparately attempts to destroy anything that might offend or provoke.

Rock legend Roger Daltrey clearly recognises this. Last week he launched a much-needed attack on the ‘woke generation’ in an interview on The Zane Lowe Show.

‘It’s becoming so absurd now with… the woke generation. It’s terrifying, the miserable world they’re going to create for themselves. I mean, anyone who’s lived a life and you see what they’re doing, you just know that it’s a route to nowhere. Especially when you’ve lived through the periods of a life that we’ve had the privilege to. We’ve had the golden era. There’s no doubt about that.’
Yahoo News has more:
Roger Daltrey: ‘Woke generation’ is creating a ‘miserable world’
The Who star Roger Daltrey has taken aim at the “woke generation”, saying a “miserable world” is going to be created.

Talking about today’s society in an interview on Zane Lowe’s Apple Music 1, Daltrey said he feels privileged to have lived in the “golden era”.
The 77-year-old shared his thoughts as he was discussing all the “spin” in the world.

“It’s just getting harder to disseminate the truth,” he said. “It’s almost like, now we should turn the whole thing off. Go back to newsprint, go back to word of mouth and start to read books again.”…

“It’s terrifying, the miserable world they’re going to create for themselves.

“I mean, anyone who’s lived a life and you see what they are doing, you just know that it’s a route to nowhere.
The left is alienating a lot of people who used to be allies.

Their world view is too totalitarian.

As Daltrey sings in The Who’s hit song, we won’t get fooled again.

Washington Gov. Inslee Signs Bill Requiring Critical Race Training For Public School Teachers

“The legislature plans to continue the important work of dismantling institutional racism in public schools and recognizes the importance of increasing equity, diversity, inclusion, antiracism, and cultural competency training throughout the entire public school system….”

Posted by Jeff ReynoldsSunday, May 9, 2021 at 10:00am

Jay-Inslee-image-via-Flickr-e1620565419218.jpg

On May 5, Governor Jay Inslee of Washington signed Senate Bill 5044 into law, which requires Critical Race Theory (CRT) training for all school staff, board directors, teachers, and administrators in public schools across the state.

The Senate Early Learning & K-12 Education Committee introduced Engrossed Substitute Senate Bill 5044 in December 2020. The final version, amended by the House, says:
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. (1) The legislature finds that state resources have been invested to:

(a) Identify model standards for cultural competency;
(b) incorporate these cultural competency standards into both the standards for effective teaching and the standards of practice for paraeducators;
(c) develop cultural competency training programs for school district staff from paraeducators to administrators; and
(d) develop a plan for the creation and delivery of cultural competency training for school board directors and superintendents.

(2) The legislature plans to continue the important work of dismantling institutional racism in public schools and recognizes the importance of increasing equity, diversity, inclusion, antiracism, and cultural competency training throughout the entire public school system by providing training programs for classified staff, certificated instructional staff, certificated administrative staff, superintendents, and school directors that will be provided in an ongoing manner.
The bill requires all school boards to adopt cultural competency standards for board member training and board policies:
The Washington state school directors’ association shall:
(a) Develop cultural competency, diversity, equity, and inclusion standards for school director governance;
(b) Collaborate with the Washington professional educator standards board to compare and align the standards for school director governance developed under (a) of this subsection with the standards of practice developed under RCW 28A.410.260. The review must include the educational opportunity gap oversight and accountability committee and may include the office of equity established under RCW 43.06D.020.
This follows Inslee’s approval of Senate Bills 5227 and 5228, which requires public colleges and medical schools, respectively, to develop CRT curriculum. SB 5228 claims to tackle “structural racism in healthcare.”

The Washington Policy Center, a free market think tank, reviewed the trio of bills and found many troubling elements:
At public hearings, lawmakers received the following analysis about these bills.
• Prominent black, Hispanic, and Jewish leaders are speaking out against this racial training curriculum as harmful to their children.
• The bills violate the Washington Civil Rights Act, which provides: “The state shall not discriminate against, or grant preferential treatment to, any individual or group on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin in the operation of public employment, public education, or public contracting.”
• The bills violate the federal Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the 14th Amendment’s guarantee of “equal protection of the laws” to all citizens, regardless of race, ethnicity or national origin.
• The bills violate workers’ First Amendment rights by compelling speech in mandatory training sessions, or by suppressing their legitimate views and opinions.
• The bills would create hostile work environments in Washington’s public schools, public universities, and public medical schools.
• The bills would promote feelings of fear, alienation, and rejection in students and teachers because official policy would judge them based on appearance rather than their work experience or abilities.
Enacting a government policy of judging others by their appearance will likely lead to more conflict and legal challenges in the state’s public education system.
Washington joins several states that have mandated CRT in public education. According to Joy Pullmann, writing in The Federalist,
Entire states like Oregon, California, and New Jersey now legally mandate racist and anti-American curricula in social studies and other domains. Oregon, for example, tells social studies teachers to undermine “Eurocentrist narratives” as part of the state’s newly mandated “ethnic studies” curricula in social studies. Teachers are now required to apply race and ethnicity tests to what they teach in social studies, to “decenter whiteness” and “center the experiences and perspectives of people of color.”
Meanwhile, other states have begun to fight back, with Oklahoma, Idaho, Tennessee, and Florida among the states banning or considering banning CRT altogether in public schools.

With states going in opposite directions and the Biden administration promising to create federal mandates for CRT in public schools, the war for control over public education in America seems poised to escalate.

100 Days In: Team Biden Focused On Demonizing Republicans, Not Helping America.
For the Biden White House, the events of January 6, 2021, remain a looming, dystopian threat to democracy—the greatest of our time—100 days after a relatively normal transfer of power.

White House Suspends Travel From India.

The White House will restrict the entry of non-U.S. citizens “who were physically present within the Republic of India during the 14‑day period preceding their entry or attempted entry into the United States” beginning on Tuesday, May 4.

The U.S. Embassy in India has urged U.S. citizens to leave, warning that “Access to all types of medical care is becoming severely limited in India due to the surge in Covid-19 cases . . . U.S. citizens are reporting being denied admittance to hospitals in some cities due to a lack of space.”

Don’t forget how then-candidate Joe Biden reacted when President Donald Trump halted travel from China at the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak: “We are in the midst of a crisis with the coronavirus. We need to lead the way with science — not Donald Trump’s record of hysteria, xenophobia, and fear-mongering. He is the worst possible person to lead our country through a global health emergency.”

Vice President Touts First 100 Days Record.
Vice President Kamala Harris delivered remarks Friday on “Progress Made During the First 100 Days in Office,” using the phrase “American aspiration” as the theme of the first 100 days. The phrase “American aspiration” comes from the Vice President’s post-inaugural remarks.

“Let’s go back to where our nation was 100 days ago,” Harris said. “About 2 [million] out of 330 million Americans, at that time, were fully vaccinated. More than 10 million Americans were out of work. Schools were closed. Businesses were closed. And beyond the pandemic, our democracy was under assault. And our Capitol had just been attacked by insurgents. All of that was going on when the President and I took our oath of office. But as daunting as these challenges were, we were not deterred.”

The president, meanwhile, delivered a speech celebrating the 50th anniversary of Amtrak—”a celebration that is obviously close to the President’s heart,” press secretary Jen Psaki said. His remarks included a fond story about taking the 5:00 p.m. train home to Delaware to blow out the candle on a birthday cake and immediately boarding the 6:28 p.m. train back to Washington during his early days in the Senate.

Biden had already delivered remarks in Georgia Thursday observing the administration’s first 100 days, followed by a peculiar exchange where he admitted he was “teasing” protestors when he said “give me another five days” to abolish Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. Biden seemed to have thought the protestors were referring to the elimination of funding to private prisons.

January 6 Looms Very, Very Large For Biden White House.
In a proclamation observing Law Day, 2021, the White House took another opportunity to characterize January 6 as a day that threatened to shatter American democracy.

“Recently, we were again called to recognize that democracy is precious and fragile,” reads the proclamation on Law Day, U.S.A., 2021. “We have witnessed grave threats to our democratic institutions and to the rule of law itself. These tragic events have taught us once again that when we are united, we can overcome the greatest challenges and move our country forward—but it takes a commitment to law over demagoguery, and the enforcement of law free from political interference, to do so.”

Of course, that oh-so-“fragile” democracy resulted in a totally normal transfer of presidential power on January 20, while federal agents have reportedly raided the home and business of private individuals who did not even participate in the breach of the Capitol on January 6.

"This Must Stop!" One Father's Fight Against Pervasive Entrenchment Of Critical Race Theory In America's Schools

MONDAY, MAY 10, 2021 - 04:30 PM
Authored by Andrea Widburg via AmericanThinker.com,

Even as the Biden administration doubles down on Critical Race Theory, a dishonest, divisive, toxic idea holding that Whites are racist, inferior creatures who have used their unfairly obtained privilege to oppress Blacks and other races, parents are beginning to fight back. It turns out that, once you ignore cancel culture make a statement, there are a lot of people who want to follow your lead. One of those parents, to his surprise, found himself at the head of a brewing revolution.

Three weeks ago, two letters exploded on the New York education scene and started echoing through the rest of America. The first was from a teacher challenging Grace Church High School's anti-white Critical Race Theory indoctrination. The second letter was from Andrew Gutmann, who spoke out against the same indoctrination at the Brearley school. Both schools are expensive, claim to be elite, and are teaching a doctrine every bit as toxic as the Jim Crow eugenics garbage that Democrats promoted in the first half of the 20th century.

While the teacher's letter was an eye-opener, the fact that Gutmann is a parent meant that his letter resonated with parents across America. To his surprise, he's found himself leading the charge for these parents. In an opinion piece in the New York Post, Gutmann describes the positive feedback he's getting, as well as the fact that there is a huge battle ahead for those parents unhappy about the hard left turn their children's education has taken:
I am enormously gratified by the overwhelmingly supportive emails and messages that I have personally received. Countless parents expressed to me their appreciation for stating clearly and forcibly what so many Americans have been thinking but have been too afraid to state out loud. Many also conveyed that they felt newly emboldened to speak up for their children. I have learned that my letter has been circulated and discussed in Board of Trustees meetings of schools across the country and I have been told that it has begun to make an impact. Even Brearley, after initially dismissing the contents of my letter and indicating a desire to double down on antiracism initiatives has, for the very first time, offered parents an opportunity to ask questions about the school's diversity, equity, inclusion, and antiracist initiatives.
That's the good news. The bad news is that Gutmann learned from the outpouring of messages that, in a single year, Critical Race Theory has become deeply embedded in American education from kindergarten through to graduate work:
Prior to sending the letter, I had no idea how pervasive and entrenched critical race theory had become in our schools, including public and religious schools. Nor did I comprehend just how many parents were dealing with the same issues as our family, with close-minded administrations and racist, age-inappropriate and indoctrinating curriculums. I have been told stories about children as early as kindergarten being asked to draw a self portrait, with explicit instructions to focus exclusively on accurately depicting their skin tone. I have been told stories of young adults at elite medical schools spending weeks of instruction on transgender issues and antiracism in lieu of pediatrics and geriatrics.
The biggest issue standing in the way of fixing the problem is cancel culture:
Additionally, we cannot fix these educational problems until we eradicate the insidious cancer that is cancel culture. Too many parents are too afraid to speak up in support of their children's education for fear of losing their jobs. And it's true that there is an appalling stench of cowardice emanating from the corporate boardrooms of our country. Just like the administration of my daughter's private school, our business leaders have been cowering to a small, miseducated and unenlightened social media mob. This must stop!
There's much more, and I urge you to read the whole thing. It's clear that, because CRT is so entrenched, Gutmann does not think the end of the battle is anywhere near. Instead, his tone is rather like Churchill's in 1942, when Churchill said, "This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning." Just a month ago, American parents hadn't even started to fight. As more engage in the battle, the pace will accelerate.

DHS launches warning system to find domestic terrorism threats on public social media

The goal is to detect the sort of posts that seemed to predict the Jan. 6 Capitol attack but were missed by law enforcement.

By Ken Dilanian

WASHINGTON — The Department of Homeland Security has begun implementing a strategy to gather and analyze intelligence about security threats from public social media posts, DHS officials said.

The goal is to build a warning system to detect the sort of posts that appeared to predict an attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 but were missed or ignored by law enforcement and intelligence agencies, the officials said.

The focus is not on the identity of the posters but rather on gleaning insights about potential security threats based on emerging narratives and grievances. So far, DHS is using human beings, not computer algorithms, to make sense of the data, the officials said.

"We're not looking at who are the individual posters," said a senior official involved in the effort. "We are looking at what narratives are resonating and spreading across platforms. From there you may be able to determine what are the potential targets you need to protect."

The officials didn't describe what criteria or methods the analysts would use to parse the data. They said DHS officials have been consulting with social media companies, private companies and nonprofit groups that analyze open-source social media data.

"Domestic violent extremism poses the most lethal, persistent terrorism-related threat to our homeland today," said Sarah Peck, a DHS spokeswoman, adding that all DHS efforts against the threat "are carried out in close coordination with our privacy, civil rights and civil liberties experts and consistent with the law."

Law enforcement officers and intelligence analysts are legally entitled to examine — without warrants — what people say openly on Twitter, Facebook and other public social media forums, just as they can take in information from reading newspapers. But civil liberties groups generally oppose government monitoring of social media, arguing that it doesn't produce much intelligence and risks chilling free speech.

"Internal government reviews have repeatedly raised concerns about the usefulness of wide-ranging collection of social media information, but agencies keep barreling forward, wrongly assuming that its benefits must outweigh its costs," said Hugh Handeyside, a senior staff attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union in Washington.

"People say inflammatory stuff on social media, but as an empirical matter, that speech isn't a valid or reliable predictor of violent conduct," he said.

Handeyside pointed out that the White House budget office last July blocked a DHS proposal to collect social media information about visa applicants, saying the agency "has not adequately demonstrated the practical utility of collecting this information."

In terms of free speech, he said, "when people know that the government is watching, they self-censor."

"That leads to the suppression of ideas and discourse that might be deemed controversial," he said.

DHS officials say that the counterterrorism case for analyzing social media is strong and that they believe social media can be a useful predictor of threats.

Other experts agree. Concerns about government intrusion on free speech are legitimate, said Oren Segal, vice president of the Center on Extremism at the Anti-Defamation League, but the government can hardly ignore the main vector of extremist communication in the U.S.

"As a way to gauge potential threats, potential narratives that animate people to action, the online space is where that's at," he said. "This is why the insurrection was predictable from our point of view, because the planning and the organizing was happening in plain site. ... This is not an easy issue, but one thing we can all agree on is that in order to get ahead of the next threat, you need to go into the spaces in which the extremists are present."

Many social media posts are made anonymously, and in some cases warrants signed by judges would be required for the government to obtain records revealing the identities of the posters. DHS officials said that would be the responsibility of the FBI in a criminal investigation.

DHS' goal is to exploit social media for tips, leads and trends, officials say.

For example, the official involved in the social media effort said, in the weeks after the Jan. 6 riot, DHS and other agencies observed a large volume of social media chatter promising more violence at the Capitol and around the inauguration of President Joe Biden. That led authorities to expand and extend a massive security presence, including National Guard troops and fencing, that appears to have deterred would-be violent protesters.

In testimony late last month to the House Homeland Security subcommittee on counterterrorism, John Cohen, the assistant secretary of homeland security for counterterrorism, referred to the social media push.

A Welcome Backlash against Critical Race Theory
By THE EDITORS
May 10, 2021 6:30 AM

classroom-desks.jpg
(diane39/Getty Images)

Recent weeks have brought welcome pushback against the spread of critical race theory (CRT) and related dogmas of division in our nation’s schools.

Contrary to what many of CRT’s advocates often claim, the theory is about more than just teaching kids to “think critically” about the role that race has played in American history. It’s the conceptual apparatus of a self-avowedly activist political movement seeking to renovate the American social order from root to branch using state power.

CRT is a subdiscipline of the broader academic school of critical theory.

According to one of critical theory’s pioneers, the German thinker Max Horkheimer, a theory is critical to the extent that it helps “to liberate human beings from the circumstances that enslave them” and “to create a world which satisfies” their “needs and powers.”

As CRT’s most recognized proponent, Ibram X. Kendi, puts it:
The defining question is whether the discrimination is creating equity or inequity. If discrimination is creating equity, then it is antiracist. If discrimination is creating inequity, then it is racist. . . . The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination.
In practice, CRT leads to rank racialism. As Christopher Caldwell noted in his recent cover story for National Review, Kendi helped lead the opposition against the selection process for the elite Boston Latin School, the Boston Latin Academy, and the John D. O’Bryant School of Math & Science. Relying heavily on testing, the schools had been giving a disproportionate number of their 205 seats to Asian applicants. Caldwell reported that, “With COVID as a pretext, equity advocates set up a new system to fill the spots based on zip codes and grades, a plan that will result in a 24 percent reduction in Asians, an 18 percent reduction in whites, a 50 percent increase in blacks, and a 14 percent increase in Hispanics.”

CRT, the philosophy motivating such discriminatory actions, shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the nation’s schools. Fortunately, some communities and elected officials are acting to prevent its insinuation into curricula.

The US will join the Christchurch Call to eliminate “extremist” content online

The ideas was previously rejected by the Trump administration on free speech grounds.
ardern-768x432.png

In a departure from the policy of the previous administration, the United States has announced that it has joined an initiative to bring about tighter policing of online content, launched in the wake of the March 2019 Christchurch, New Zealand mosque massacre.

The initiative, known as the Christchurch Call to Action to Eliminate Terrorist and Violent Extremist Content Online, was unveiled in May of the same year, with New Zealand and France driving it.

Social media came under intense pressure from governments and regulators at the time, since the Australian who committed the crime livestreamed it on Facebook and was also active elsewhere online. In New Zealand and Australia, entire websites got blocked, with ISPs and telecommunications companies joining in the effort to prevent internet users from accessing this content.

Those behind the Christchurch Call believe that the attack inspired others around the world to similar action, and their solution is to have governments and tech and social media companies come together in removing content that they deem to be extremist.

Before the US joined, more than 50 other governments did the same, while Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Amazon, Microsoft and Google all supported the initiative.

The Biden administration move is not surprising, given that the State Department supported the Christchurch Call in March, saying also that it was “encouraging” tech companies to more strictly enforce their community standards and terms of service as a way to remove users seen as inciting violence.

A statement issued now to announce that the US has formally joined the initiative mentions combating what’s termed as domestic violent extremism as one of the current administration’s priorities, and clearly, cooperating with others who have signed on to the Christchurch Call is seen as a way to help achieve this goal.

The State Department was careful to present its membership in the initiative as mindful of the importance of free expression, suggesting that the Christchurch Call is not designed to restrict speech.

In addition to enforcing rules on social networks more vigorously, the State Department would also like to see anti-extremist propaganda (“credible alternative narratives”) promoted more heavily as another way to counter content the authorities disapprove of.

Blaming Jim Crow, Northwestern student journalist says the way White people walk on sidewalks is too racist

A Northwestern student newspaper opinion editor wrote that White people at the school walk on the sidewalk in an annoying way because of internalized racism.

He added that “the racism that undergirded Jim Crow” is to blame for this behavior.

Article image

Ben Zeisloft | Student Editor
Wednesday, May 5, 2021 9:22 AM

The opinion editor of the Northwestern University’s student newspaper recently published an article asserting that White people walk awkwardly on sidewalks because of their internalized racism.

“When I first got to Northwestern, I wondered why walking around on campus could be so frustrating. Even when sidewalks were relatively empty, I would often have to walk way around people to pass without bumping into them,” wrote Kenny Allen of The Daily Northwestern, “At first, I chalked it up to the geographic diversity of the school; maybe the people that came to this school were used to different ways of moving through a public place.”

However, after “talking to [his] Black friends about my experience,” Allen concluded that “people at this predominantly White school would not move out of our way on the sidewalk.”

Laying out the claims by University of Richmond sociologist Bedelia Richards for determining “whether one’s university is racist” -- such as which groups feel most “at home,” whose “norms, values and perspectives” are legitimated, and “who inhabits positions of power” -- Allen concluded that “white people” meet most of the criteria.

Allen then asserted that “the formal rules of Jim Crow were accompanied by a set of informal ones that governed the way Black people approached White people in public space and vice versa.” This social order “required Black people to yield to White people whenever possible” -- such as “stepping off the sidewalk when a White person was walking past.”

“White people came to expect the right of way in public spaces,” he added.

“White people who were accustomed to moving through the world like that — intentionally or not — taught their kids to move through the world in the same way. And the racism that undergirded Jim Crow wasn’t eliminated just because the laws were no longer overtly racist.”

Allen concluded that “many White people walk around campus having unknowingly absorbed this particular facet of White supremacy, and the leaders of the institution do little to make us believe that White supremacy is something worth challenging in the first place.”

Campus Reform reached out to The Daily Northwestern and Northwestern University for comment; this article will be updated accordingly.

Cornell librarian blasts libraries over 'fraught' racist history

A librarian at Cornell University has claimed libraries are 'fraught with racism' - and highlighted their outdated book classification system as evidence.

Reanna Esmail, an outreach and engagement librarian at Cornell's Olin Library, spoke during a discussion last Friday aimed at combatting anti-Asian racism.

She said: 'As a librarian, I see the ways in which my profession has the capacity to confront bias and misinformation in ways we approach and teach information and digital literacy.

'Libraries are predominantly white fields, and Cornell is no exception in this regard. Libraries themselves also have a fraught history of being complicit in racism, and in some cases, upholding and disseminating racist ideas.'

She made the comment during a virtual school event on Confronting Anti-Asian Racism on Friday. Esmail said she believes libraries should be held accountable for reinforcing white supremacy, even if it's inadvertent, The Cornell Daily Sun reported.

Esmail used the example of the the Dewey Decimal System to illustrate her point.
  • a person standing in front of a fence: (
  • a large brick building with a clock tower in front of a house: (
  • a group of people walking on a sidewalk: (
  • a group of people holding a sign: (

The system, also known as DDC, was devised my American librarian Melvil Dewey in 1876. It is used to classify books by subject by awarding them a number between 000 and 999. Decimal points are then used to subdivide categories further - 974 is used for New England, with 974.1 given to Maine, 974.2 used for New Hampshire, and so on.

Esmail accused the DDC of using 'outdated' language to refer to Asian people. She did not elaborate further, but the system gives individual codes to many western countries, but then refers to Thai people as 'Tai,' and puts them into the same 'miscellaneous' category as people from Vietnam.

Similarly, the entire continent of Africa is lumped under a single sub-heading, which also includes people from Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
DDC has faced similar criticism fire for the uneven way it classifies different languages.

Jane Behre, a library research scientist explained her issue with the DDC in a June 2020 post on hacklibraryschool.com.

She said language is classified in the DDC in 400s.

English, German, and Greek have eight individual number classifications dedicated to each language while French, Italian, Spanish and Latin have seven classifications dedicated to each language.

These split languages into topics as varied as etymology, grammar, dictionaries and historic variations.

But nine 'other languages,' including languages of east and southeast Asia, African languages, have just one classification code each from 490-499.

The number 495 is given to classify books on Languages on East and Southeast Asia - their only mention in the system. And the number 496 is the only one dedicated to African languages, despite the continent being home to 54 countries, and an estimated 2,000 languages.

'Western European languages have highly specific classifications, while the majority of non-white and non-western European languages are all lumped together; even if they span an entire continent,' Behre wrote.

'A similar pattern exists when looking at the Library of Congress classifications for languages,' she said.

Similar criticisms have been made over the Dewey System's representation of religion, with 89 codes devoted to Christianity, but just one for Islam, and another for Judaism.

The country's first library was the Boston Public Library, which opened in 1852, nine years before the start of the Civil War.

In the 20th Century, 'black libraries,' opened, with libraries not desegregated until 1964.

And even after segregation, it took 22 years for the Black Caucus of the American Library Association, which first met in 1970, to be formally acknowledged by its parent body the American Library Association, she said.
Even today, the librarian profession is overwhelming white, with just 6.8 percent of librarians identified as black or African-American, according to the ALA.

Twitter, Facebook Refuse To Remove Army Of Chinese Propaganda Bots, Oxford Researchers Reveal.
twitter

Platforms including Twitter and Facebook are failing to suspend and label thousands of bot accounts linked to the Chinese Communist Party, according to a new investigation conducted by the Associated Press and the Oxford Internet Institute.

“A seven-month investigation by the Associated Press and the Oxford Internet Institute, a department at Oxford University, found that China’s rise on Twitter has been powered by an army of fake accounts that have retweeted Chinese diplomats and state media tens of thousands of times, covertly amplifying propaganda that can reach hundreds of millions of people — often without disclosing the fact that the content is government-sponsored,” the outlet summarizes.

The new report highlights how Twitter – a platform that’s quick to censor American conservatives – is slow to tackle Chinese Communist Party propaganda and manipulation of algorithms. “Twitter’s takedowns often came only after weeks or months of activity. All told, AP and the Oxford Internet Institute identified 26,879 accounts that managed to retweet Chinese diplomats or state media nearly 200,000 times before getting suspended. They accounted for a significant share – sometimes more than half — of the total retweets many diplomatic accounts got on Twitter,” the report noted.

Screen-Shot-2021-05-11-at-9.33.02-AM-800x357.png

Data reveals that of the hundreds of thousands of accounts that amplify Chinese Communist Party-run accounts, only 5 percent are suspended.

Another table reveals how Twitter fails to label accounts belonging to Chinese Communist Party officials as “state-run.” Similarly, Facebook has labeled just 22 percent of state-run media outlets that don’t use English.

Screen-Shot-2021-05-11-at-9.33.25-AM-800x509.png

“Twitter, and others, have identified inauthentic pro-China networks before. But the AP and Oxford Internet Institute investigation shows for the first time that large-scale inauthentic amplification has broadly driven engagement across official government and state media accounts, adding to evidence that Beijing’s appetite for guiding public opinion – covertly, if necessary — extends beyond its borders and beyond core strategic interests, like Taiwan, Hong Kong and Xinjiang,” the report added.

The study follows National Pulse reports highlighting the campaigns of China’s “Wu Mao” army, deployed by the Chinese regime to criticize former President Donald Trump and his response to COVID-19.

REVEALED: Facebook Funds CCP-Linked ‘Marxist Journalism’ Training To Create More Effective Regime Propagandists.
Facebook’s ‘Journalism Project’ has funneled millions of dollars into partnerships with the International Center for Journalists – the leading sponsor of a Beijing-based, self-declared “Marxist” journalism school training individuals to work for the Chinese Communist Party’s state-run media outlets.

The Facebook Journalism Project – which has also pumped hundreds of millions of dollars into news outlets and fact-checking operations – is partnered with the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) on a variety of initiatives.

The two entities have funded outlets based in Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East to increase and shape the coverage of COVID-19, alongside training journalists on how to “fact check”, which Facebook describes as “effectively and safely combatting rampant misinformation on social media.”

Overwhelmingly, the platform’s “fact checks” are used to silence stories critical of Democrats and the Chinese Communist Party.

Corporate Marxism.
Today, The National Pulse can reveal how Facebook’s Partner, the ICFJ, is also funding one of the Chinese Communist Party’s top “Marxist” journalism schools: Tsinghua University’s Global Business Journalism School.

Facebook has sent its executives, including Vice President Lori Goler, to deliver guest lectures at the Marxist facility.

FACEBOOK & ICFJ PARTNERSHIP.

Collaborators on the venture include Merrill Lynch, Bloomberg, Deloitte, and the Knight Foundation, which funds many of the fact-checking tools used by platforms such as Facebook.

TSINGHUA PARTNERS.
An introductory letter to Tsinghua’s Global Business Journalism School outlines its express purpose: to accomplish the “tasks for news media” outlined by the Central Committee of the Chinese government.

In order to “cultivate talented professionals” who can “achieve these goals,” the Dean of the the Chinese Communist-Party-controlled school seeks to apply Marxism – dubbed the “correct political orientation” – to journalism:

“We should be committed to a firm and correct political orientation. Our School has been actively exploring the theory and practices of Marxist Journalism, namely, to applying the Marxist theory in observing the world, selecting and handling news production.”

Central to the Beijing-based school’s mission is training journalists who “take a lead in public opinion” as opposed to placing emphasis on factual, objective reporting.

As a result, alumni of the program frequently go on to work for outlets including China Central Television, Xinhua News Agency, China Daily and the People’s Daily. These outlets comprise the major players in the Chinese state-run media landscape which have been identified as a “long-standing weapon in Beijing’s arsenal of repression” whose “mission is to attack designated enemies of the Communist Party.”

The ICFJ has also highlighted its facilitation of collaboration between the journalism school and the East-West Institute, a decades-long partner and recipient of funding from the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF). CUSEF was founded by the Vice-Chairman of the “highest-ranking entity overseeing” China’s United Front, which the U.S.-China Security and Economic Review Commission identifies as seeking to “to co-opt and neutralize sources of potential opposition to the policies and authority of its ruling Chinese Communist Party” and “influence overseas Chinese communities, foreign governments, and other actors to take actions or adopt positions supportive of Beijing.”

Aided by Western lobbying firms, CUSEF has set out to “effectively disseminate positive messages to the media, key influencers and opinion leaders, and the general public” regarding China, according to Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) filings with the Department of Justice.

Collaboration with Tsinghua is also egregious given the college has reportedly launched cyberattacks against the U.S. government, has a “clear connection” to the Chinese government on issues of technology and national security according to the U.S. State Department, and is president Xi Jinping’s alma mater.

Xi retains a close link with the university, having recently met with the institution’s advisory board at the Chinese Communist Party’s Great Hall of the People.

Idaho Gov. Brad Little (R) signed legislation Monday to prohibit enforcement of the executive actions for gun control put forth by President Joe Biden.

One outworking of those executive actions has been the Department of Justice’s attempt to reclassify certain gun parts kits as “firearms.”

The executive actions are also expected to lead to DOJ action against AR-pistols with stabilizer braces.

But KTVB reports that the bill signed by Gov. Little “[prohibits] Idaho government entities from upholding Biden’s March executive actions.”

The Associated Press notes the bill passed the House and Senate with veto-proof majorities and “carried an emergency notice, meaning it went into effect with Little’s signature.”

The new law is retroactive to January 20, 2021. It is designed to prevent “Idaho government entities from enforcing executive orders, federal laws, treaties, agency orders and rules of the U.S. government involving firearms, firearm components, firearm accessories or ammunition that conflict with the Idaho Constitution.”

Has The Backlash Against Police-Bashing Begun?

TUESDAY, MAY 11, 2021 - 01:20 PM
Authored by Pat Buchanan,

Within hours of Saturday’s shooting in Times Square where three bystanders, including a 4-year-old girl, were wounded, the two leading candidates to replace Mayor Bill de Blasio were on-site.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, a retired captain of the NYPD, and Andrew Yang, who declared:
“My fellow New Yorkers … Nothing works in our city without public safety, and for public safety, we need the police. … My message to the NYPD is this: New York needs you. Your city needs you.
“New York cannot afford to defund the police.”
The rush of Adams and Yang to the scene of the shooting, and the messages they delivered, tells us something about the state of play in politics — and not only in the city of New York.

Liberal mayors and urban politicians who enlisted in the Black Lives Matter “defund the police” movement after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis last May, appear to have caught a wave that is now receding.

In the streets of America’s cities, violent crimes are spiking to heights unseen since the 1990s. And, instead of “Defund the Police!” the insistent cry is, “Where are the cops?”

Atlanta is a case in point.

Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms just announced she will not run for a second term. While she listed issues and events that exhausted her energy, The New York Times suggests that Atlanta’s soaring crime rate made her vulnerable and Bottoms was looking at possible defeat.

Writes Richard Fausset of the Times:
“The most serious political threat that emerged for Ms. Bottoms in recent months was a phenomenon she had previously described as the ‘Covid crime wave.’ … Atlanta is struggling with a spike in violent crime, including a 58 percent increase in homicides last year…

“The mayor’s inability to get a handle on crime has become the central theme for two challengers,” one of whom is city council president Felicia Moore.

“‘Atlanta has a mayor that is more interested in things that happen outside Atlanta,’ Ms. Moore said in a recent statement, referring to Ms. Bottoms’s emerging national stature, including talk that she was rumored to be a possible vice-presidential candidate. ‘We need a mayor who knows the No. 1 job of any mayor is to keep our city safe.'”
So visceral is the public reaction to the crime wave in Atlanta that in Buckhead, a wealthy enclave in the northern section of the city, there is talk of secession and taking its tax base with it.

Why is crime rising and not only in Atlanta?

Among the reasons: the demonization and demoralization of police departments under constant fire for harboring “rotten apples” and rogue cops. Seen by cops as anti-cop, this campaign is generating police resignations, retirements and reductions in force.

The NYPD has lost 7% of its force and is in a recruitment crisis.

Large reductions in the number of cops have also been recorded in Chicago, Minneapolis, Milwaukee and Atlanta. Then there is the “Ferguson Effect” where cops avoid aggressive policing for fear a mistake could cost them their reputation and career, or worse.

In a nation as violent as ours, with daily confrontations between cops and often aggressive and armed suspects, police errors are going to be made. There are going to be unwarranted and unnecessary shootings, woundings and even killings.

In any war, there are casualties and collateral damage, and that is true of America’s “war on crime” — another of our forever wars.

But the daily reports of escalating violent crime, resulting in growing numbers of innocent wounded and dead, are inducing a fear for safety that is outstripping any fear of cops. And politicians are beginning to see the numbers shift and reacting accordingly.

Consider a few of the crime numbers compiled by The Hill:
  • 2020 witnessed more than 20,000 criminal homicides with a huge share of that spike occurring in urban America.
  • New York saw 150 additional homicides and 750 additional shootings in 2020 than in 2019. Chicago saw 274 more homicides and 1,435 additional shootings in 2020 than in 2019.
  • Los Angeles saw homicides rise 38% as shootings spiked 40%. Washington, D.C., ended 2020 with homicides up for the third straight year.
  • Killings in Philadelphia, where homicides have risen every year since 2016, almost reached 500, a 40% increase. In Louisville, homicides jumped 70%.
  • In Detroit, shootings and homicides rose for the second year in a row, increasing by 53%.
  • Homicides spiked for the second straight year in Minneapolis, to 84 deaths — the highest tally since 1995. Cleveland had its highest murder tally since 1982, after a nearly 40% jump in killings last year.
  • Houston hit 413 murders in 2020 — a 42% increase over 2019. Indianapolis saw a 40% jump in murders. For Denver, the murder increase was 50 percent.
Cops aren’t doing these killings. They’re doing their jobs trying to prevent these killings and apprehend the killers.

How 'Woke' May Be Leading Us To Civil War

TUESDAY, MAY 11, 2021 - 11:25 PM
Authored by Roger Simon via The Epoch Times,

The other day, I wrote thatwoke” was the new conformism.

It is, of course, but I undersold it. It’s much more than that and more dangerous.

As Tal Bachman notes at Steynonline, it’s now our state religion, a state religion in a country that - constitutionally and for good reason - isn’t supposed to have one.

But “Wokism” is yet more than that, too. It’s a mass psychosis similar to many that have arisen throughout history when the masses followed leaders who, in their zeal or self-interest, took them to disastrous ends.

A good example was when the Dominican friar Girolamo Savonarola - in a 1497 version of “cancel culture” - swept up everything secular in Florence from some of the most extraordinary paintings and sculpture of all time to the works of Boccaccio and burned them in the so-called Bonfire of the Vanities.

Being Jewish, I am also reminded of the bizarre tale of Sabbatai Zevi, the 17th-century Sephardic rabbi who proclaimed himself the long-awaited true messiah of the Jews, garnered thousands of followers, and then ended up leaving them completely in the lurch when he converted to Islam. (Interestingly, Bachman writes that “wokism” resembles Islam structurally.)

Closer to our time, the great Italian director Federico Fellini, in his film “La Dolce Vita” (1960), shows us what seems like hundreds of people rushing about, tears streaming, trampling each other, believing reports that the Madonna has been sighted. As the scene progresses, the crowd grows, with more and more people convinced of the sighting.

Of course, what Fellini documents is more or less harmless—not so “woke.” This psychosis has a political dimension and the capability of changing a society, which it has already done.

Face Excommunication
“Woke” gains adherents much in the manner of “est”—the cult-like Erhard Seminars Training—that I attended in the 1970s at the behest of a movie producer interested in making a film about it. (It never happened.)
If you’re too in, you’re out.

For est, several hundred people sat in a large conference room listening to the “training” for hours under instructions not to get up, even to go to the bathroom, until they raised their hands signaling they “got it” (i.e., effectively joined the cult). Nature’s calling being what it is, most eventually did.

Although operationally similar, “woke” is exponentially more perilous than the now-defunct est training. Our position in society, our livelihoods, and our children’s educations and futures are being held over our heads, not our mere use of a restroom.

An iron-fisted, ideologically extreme minority has our country under its thumb—play along or face ex-communication. This is stronger than anything in our history and almost identical to what we see and have seen in totalitarian countries.

It’s a psychosis approaching mass hallucination.

In Franco’s Spain, they shouted, “Viva la muerte!” (“Long live death!”) Here we are asked to proclaim just as loudly “Black Lives Matter,” to display signs saying as much on our lawns, although we never thought otherwise and always thought (naively, we are told) that all lives mattered.

All key aspects, most parts of them anyway, of our society “get it” as they did in est (i.e., now believe in ”woke”) or, yet more ominously, cynically say they do—the media, the corporations (“Better woke than broke!”), the government bureaucracy, the Democratic Party, the Department of Justice, the FBI, the military (yikes!), entertainment, the university system, the K–12 system, the medical community, the scientific community (incredibly), the religious community (sadly), and on and on.

All, to one extent or another, believe in “woke” except—the people.
Most of the people anyway.

Most of what used to be called the common men (or women) in the street roll their eyes at “woke”—including even some silent, but browbeaten, Democrats—and do their best to move on, although many realize that “woke” and its sister “social justice” are in essence euphemisms for an ideology far more totalitarian than any ever in control of this country, communism.

Rebellion Brewing
How long can this gaping dichotomy continue?

How long before they stop rolling their eyes?

A rebellion against “woke” is brewing, particularly in red states, some of which are banning or have already banned critical race theory in their schools, among other pushbacks. (Kudos to Rep. Mark Green, Republican of Tennessee and Iraq War veteran, for introducing legislation to block critical race theory training at U.S. military academies.)

But will that be enough against a federal government that lives and breathes this evil ideology and that is essentially governed by a homegrown politburo—the thought that Biden acts by himself is ludicrous—determined to impose it?

As this imposition increases, the “contradictions,” as the Marxists would say, are heightened.

What the extremist ideology of “woke” actually provokes is talk of—and not just talk—secession and even civil war.

Few of us have heard anything like that in our lifetimes. But now it’s real.

We have been driven apart as never before. We have been awakened indeed.

Anything can happen and some of us, who would never have considered anything like secession and civil war, suddenly do—highly disturbing to us as those thoughts may be.

So why do we even tolerate “woke”?
Bachman gives us a quotation from Austrian philosopher Karl Popper that is remarkably apposite for our times:
“Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them.”
From Antifa to BLM (whose leader apparently identifies with the mass murderer Chairman Mao) to the willfully blind talking heads of left-wing cable TV, no one is as intolerant as the ”woke” folks. They break all domestic records in that regard.

Time to stop tolerating them.

The American Cyber Stasi Will Suppress All Digital Dissent In Biden's Dystopia

TUESDAY, MAY 11, 2021 - 09:25 PM
Authored by Andrew Korybko via OneWorld.press,

CNN's recent report that the US' security services are considering contracting the services of so-called “researchers” as a legal workaround for spying on average Americans confirms that Biden's dystopian hellhole is rapidly moving in the direction of establishing a “Cyber Stasi” for suppressing all digital dissent against the Democrats as they continuing consolidating their de facto one-party rule of the country.

The dystopian hellhole that I predicted would become a fait accompli following Biden's confirmation as President by the Electoral College is quickly becoming a reality after CNN's recent report that the US' security services are considering contracting the services of so-called “researchers” as a legal workaround for spying on average Americans. According to the outlet, these ostensibly independent contractors would be charged with infiltrating the social media circles of white supremacists and other supposedly terrorist-inclined domestic forces within the country. The report claims that the intent is to “help provide a broad picture of who was perpetuating the 'narratives' of concern”, after which “the FBI could theoretically use that pool of information to focus on specific individuals if there is enough evidence of a potential crime to legally do so”.

In other words, the US' security services essentially want to establish a “Cyber Stasi” of “fellow” citizens who spy on one another and produce purported “evidence” of “potential crimes” for “justifying” the FBI's “legal” investigations. CNN quoted an unnamed senior intelligence official who asked, “What do you do about ideology that's leading to violence? Do you have to wait until it leads to violence?”, thereby hinting that this initiative might likely be exploited to stop so-called “pre-crime”, or crimes before they occur. Put another way, even those average Americans who practice their constitutionally enshrined right to the freedom of speech to peacefully dissent against the Democrats' consolidation of their de facto one-party rule of the country might find themselves targeted by the security services depending on how the contracted “researchers” spin their words.

It should be remembered that even Americans' constitutionally enshrined right to the freedom of assembly is nowadays under scrutiny depending on the stated reason behind their planned peaceful protests if they dare to propose gathering in opposition to last year's alleged voter fraud for example. The events of 6 January were exploited as a game-changer by the security services in order to restrict Americans' freedoms. It's neither here nor there whether one sincerely believes that the election was stolen since the purpose in pointing these double standards out is to prove that average Americans are being politically discriminated against with the implied threat of legal intimidation when it comes to exercising their constitutional rights about “politically incorrect” issues of concern to them.

Although the reported purpose of the “Cyber Stasi” is to preemptively thwart emerging domestic terrorist plots, it can't be discounted that the combination of political Russophobia and “mission creep” will combine to create additional objectives such as stopping the spread of so-called “Russian disinformation” throughout society. That phrase is actually just a euphemism for “politically incorrect” facts and interpretations thereof that contradict the Democrats' official narrative of events, being intentionally vague enough to function as an umbrella under which to cover practically every alternative understanding possible. With this in mind, those average Americans who dare to share something “politically incorrect” – even in private chats amidst the presence of “deep state” infiltrators (“researchers” employed as “Cyber Stasi”) – might be targeted by the FBI.

The end effect is that the US' security services might succeed in suppressing most expressions of digital dissent in the coming future. They're inspired to do so by the ruling administration which wants to impose a syncretic system of economic leftism and social fascism onto the country. It's not “communist” in the sense that the economic vision is more akin to state capitalism than traditional Marxism, but the social impact will certainly mirror that of East Germany during its darkest days of Stasi rule, though that's precisely why many critics casually describe it as “communist” despite that not being economically correct (at least not yet). The US' “researcher”-contracted “Cyber Stasi” will have a chilling effect how Americans interact with one another from here on out, all in order for Biden's dystopian hellhole to avoid the fate of its predecessor, East Germany.

Critical race theory kills a school levy

EhMLqf5XkAY4SuJ.jpg

Voters in Rocky River, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, voted down a school levy last Tuesday in a rebuke of teaching critical race theory. CRT promotes the notion that America is overrun with systemic racism.

Via 100% Fed Up, Dr. Ben Carson said, "Critical Race Theory is a deliberate means to sow division and cripple our nation from within–one brainwashed and resentful student at time. And while foreign adversaries like China and Russia surely work to enflame our divisions, we are doing this to ourselves."

Rocky River voters said no. This was the first time since 2012 that voters rejected a school levy in Rocky River.

School officials deny teaching CRT, telling the Plain Dealer that they instead give diversity training. They also deny CRT shot down the school levy.

School district spokesman Greg Murphy said, "We had a lot of hope that Issue 11 would pass, but understand that the last year has been difficult on everyone for a number of reasons.

"We are proud of our schools and all of the dedicated people who work so hard in providing a quality education for our students. We will continue to work with residents and the community on how we can better serve them and earn their support when we return to the ballot."

In short, school officials will force voters to vote on the levy again and again until voters are exhausted and pass the school tax. Expect popular activities to be cut first in an effort to push voters to increase their taxes.

The levy vote also came in the shadows of a criminal investigation that led to 5 male teachers resigning and 1 retiring. They apparently shared pictures of 1 girl student.

Superintendent Michael Shoaf said, "In lieu of a lengthy employment termination process, the departure of these six staff members provides our school district with the swiftest route -- without litigation -- to provide 100% certainty that these individuals will not return to a Rocky River City School District classroom."

That happened in March.

The CRT story broke late, with robocalls to voters from Tom Zawistowski of the Ohio Tea Party.

He said, "There is a cancer growing in your community, and it must be stopped now. The Rocky River local school district has been infiltrated by radical Marxist teachers, staff and administrators who want to implement the racist, anti-American, nonsensical Critical Race Theory, which indoctrinates your children and grandchildren with race-based hatred of white people, of American history, and of capitalism, with the goal of the communist takeover of our nation. It's time for we the people of Rocky River to defend our nation, our history and our values. And we do that by defunding these radical communists and forcing their removal from our schools."

The district tried to play down CRT.

On Election Day, WOIO reported, "The district has partnered with the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio since 2013, offering justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) programming."

Programming?
Really?

The district is programming our children instead of educating them.

I think all the justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion kids need is in the Pledge of Allegiance. And the goal is equality, not equity.

I remember when schools taught the 3 Rs.

I also remember when schools were worthy of respect.

Finally, I remember united we stand, divided we fall.

Ill-defined 'extremism' probes in national security ranks raise fears of ideological cleansing

"It would be hard to conclude that there's not political bias" motivating these investigations, said Lora Ries, former acting DHS deputy chief of staff.

By Sophie Mann
Updated: May 11, 2021 - 10:13pm

Both the Department of Defense and, more recently, the Department of Homeland Security have announced internal investigations into domestic "extremism" within their ranks as urgent priorities of the Biden administration, but what exactly they mean by "extremism" remains elusive — and that sets off alarm bells for many.

Max Abrahms, a professor political science at Northeastern University, fears the term will be too broadly applied within U.S. defense and national security agencies to target those with "political views which are unpopular."

"I'm not confident that they're going to limit [the parameters of the term 'extremism'] to violent [methods]," Abrahms said in an interview on "Just the News AM" last week. "I think that it might be much more inclusive, and that would be problematic."

Michael Waller, the vice president of the Center for Security Policy, says there is confusion within military ranks because of the ambiguity surrounding what specifically the department leadership may be searching to root out and why.
"There's no command guidance on what what is considered extremism … Not even the commanding officers understand what is meant by 'radical' or 'extremism,'" said Waller. "They're just being told to shut everybody up. It's built up a lot of resentment ... by our military professionals against the senior leadership in the Pentagon."

Both the DOD and DHS have contextualized their investigations as responses, at least in part, to the Jan. 6 Capitol breach. Announcing the internal investigation in a memo to employees, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas wrote, according to CBS News, that "recent events, including the January 6th attacks on the U.S. Capitol, have highlighted that domestic violent extremism poses the most lethal and persistent terrorism-related threat to our country today."

If the investigations within the national security agencies "use a more stringent and accurate definition" of extremism, "they're not going to find much," said Abrahms. This reality, he believes, opens the door for the politicization of these investigations.

"The idea grew that the domestic extremism problem isn't just part of the broader American fabric in terms of the general citizenry, but that it's disproportionately represented within the government itself," said Abrahms, citing the Pentagon's decision to highlight at the time of the "stand down" announcement the number of active duty service members and military veterans who participated in the Jan. 6 breach.

Critics charge the military's crackdown on "extremism" is a well-packaged plan to suppress politically conservative ideology. A series of training resources recently obtained by former Justice Department voting rights lawyer J. Christian Adams reveal how the Biden DOD is framing the extremism issue in its consciousness-raising efforts among active duty military.

The materials, including a training guide and a slide presentation, focus on language which could be construed as fomenting a climate of "racism, injustice, indignity, and disrespect." The examples of extremism cited in the documents are confined to far-right groups, with no mention of ANTIFA or other allied leftist extremists associated with much of the political violence and rioting that swept American cities in 2020.

"It's not cultural Marxism" being targeted, said Waller. "It's not Jihadism. It's anything considered to be right-wing extremism. And what they seem to mean by that is mainstream American conservatives, all the way to neo-Nazis and white supremacists. They lump them in all together."

Waller fears a campaign to marginalize the mainstream right through association with a far-right fringe. "While there are a lot of mainstream conservatives in the military, there are a very, very tiny number of anti-constitutional Nazis or white supremacists and extremists," he said. "And people are already on the lookout for them, so everybody knows this is an effort against mainstream [conservative] people in the military."

For Abrahms and others, the prospect of a Biden administration ideological cleansing of the military raises grave civil liberties concerns.

"It's not illegal in this country to have political views which are unpopular," emphasized Abrahms. "It's not even actually illegal to associate with unpopular domestic groups, even ones that are seen as being extreme."

"What's alarming here is that they [DHS] are expanding the definition of domestic violent extremism," agreed Lora Ries, former acting DHS deputy chief of staff and current Heritage Foundation senior fellow for homeland security.
It is historically not unusual for a U.S. national security agency to assess "insider threats" like foreign agents or terrorist sleepers, Ries readily acknowledges. But the Biden "extremism" scare "is all so gray and so vague, they can be pursuing whatever or whomever disagrees with their narrative," she warned.

"It would be hard to conclude that there's not political bias" motivating these investigations, said Ries, particularly as Biden administration federal law enforcement agencies fail to "prosecute Antifa and BLM rioters and looters, and ignore the daily violence going on in Portland."

Ries sees a pattern on the left of altering the meaning of words to suit their political agenda. To that end, she believes the new DHS and DOD leadership groups are planning to keep their definition of "extremism" to themselves for now so that it may be applied when strategically most convenient to those running the show.

These investigations with loosely-defined parameters are "intended to have a deterrent effect within the federal government," said Abrahms, "to say, 'Look, if you openly have these kinds of views, you might actually be targeted.'"

Virginia Bureaucrats Map Out 'Anti-Racist' Reeducation Plan | Opinion
Asra Nomani and Elizabeth Schultz 20 hrs ago

On Thursday, parents in Fairfax County, Va., one of the country's largest school districts, got a disturbing email. Superintendent Scott Brabrand said he is "revising" the district's "Controversial Issues Policy," which protects students from biased teaching, and developing a new "Anti-Racism, Anti-Bias Education Curriculum Policy."

© Getty A stock photo of a laptop and a book in a classroom. A teacher in New Jersey is under investigation by school officials for allegedly using racist and vulgar language during a Zoom class.

As part of a "key strategy to achieve educational equity," Brabrand said he is gathering "input" to "support more inclusive and equitable curriculum policies." The survey asked parents loaded questions, such as whether they agree "anti-racist" and "anti-biased" curricula would best "support" students. It asked if they agree that the school district should "teach students how to challenge power and privilege in society." And its many questions baited parents to spell out how important it is for staff to "discuss topics of race, racism, identity, bias" with students.

What Brabrand didn't tell parents: the survey was just a pretense, according to documents we've unearthed.

Almost two months ago, on March 11, Fairfax County Public Schools finalized a contract with the co-creators of the survey—the Leadership Academy, a consulting outfit based in Long Island City, N.Y. The agreement's "Pricing Schedule" lays out a four-year plan to improve the "competencies" of all FCPS employees, including administrators, principals, teachers and staff. The district agreed to spend taxpayer dollars on "simulations," "full time sessions," "follow-up coaching" and "retreats" on "equity," "anti-racism," "cultural responsiveness" and other buzzwords for the controversial ideology of critical race theory that categorizes people according to the color of their skin.

Video on website 1:50 min

All told, the "Pricing Schedule" includes 21 items that lay out details for its reeducation plan. They include "Executive Coaching" at a rate of $6,700 per leader or a small group of five executives for $12,100, and "Coaching for Equitable Practice," starting at $21,200 for 15 participants.

The big-ticket items include "district-wide customized, deeper touch professional learning engagement" for at least $240,000. The award runs through July 2025 with three one-year extension options.

If the school district purchased the bare minimum on this shopping list, the tab would be $702,700, but the actual price tag could easily run into the millions of dollars.

Elected in 2019, Fairfax County's 12 school board members, all endorsed by the Democratic Party, took office on January 1, 2020. Just days later, at their first board meeting, they declared they would battle "hate and bias in our curriculum."

A mere two months later, in the early days of the coronavirus pandemic, the FCPS Office of Procurement staff issued a sweeping "Request for Proposals" for "Leadership Development Training." In fact, the county planned to provide training for "all employees over time." In October, the district paid Leadership Academy $21,000 for its services. In December, we have learned, the board's Governance Committee quietly met to discuss ditching the controversial issues policy so teachers can get around requirements that they "remain impartial" on controversial issues, and instead—with the change—"take a clear position" on "matters of contemporary controversy," as part of a new "Anti-Racism and Anti-Bias Education Policy." The recommendations included hiring a list of consultants, including Leadership Academy and The Equity Collaborative (known for high-priced consulting in neighboring Loudoun County), and issuing a "Letter of Reckoning with Racism."

In March of this year, the school district paid Leadership Academy another $28,000. The district refused to reveal what the contracts entailed, forcing us to file a Freedom of Information Act request.

The school board's scheme parallels similar efforts by self-proclaimed "equity warriors," who collect millions of dollars in consulting fees from school districts around the country, from Loudoun County, Va., to Eanes Independent School District in Austin, Tex.

Consultants are not supposed to determine the direction of school districts. School boards and school board members are responsible for the curriculum, budget and public policy guiding the education of more than 51 million K-12 students in America's 17,000-plus regular and charter school districts.

Yet in a growing number of school districts across the country, things are upended, and indoctrination schemes are being carved out for our schools, hidden from public view. Districts like Fairfax County are a bellwether, offering a cautionary tale into how educrats and activists are hijacking school systems to hold our country's children hostage and infuse them with their divisive indoctrination.

That's why we joined forces with other mothers at Parents Defending Education, a new national organization empowering parents to expose and challenge indoctrination efforts at schools districts nationwide. To better understand what led to the rollout of this extraordinary survey, parents spent hours poring over documents and interviewing anonymous sources who fear retaliation.

The Fairfax County school district says it wants to "create a culturally responsive school system," "learn to audit curriculum with a culturally responsive lens" and engage in "strengthening reflective practice and sustaining leadership growth" with "explicit emphasis on racial equity in coaching conversations." That all may sound well and good to many parents, but the district has opted for a procurement vehicle that has no cost ceiling. The award creates a flow of taxpayer dollars that will deeply embed the indoctrination in our schools, if we, as citizens of conscience, don't stop this poisonous ideological reeducation.

Four years after Scalise shooting, retired police chief warns that rule of law and America face demise

By World Tribune on May 11, 2021

On June 14, 2017, during a practice session for the annual congressional baseball game in Alexandria, Virginia, James Hodgkinson shot U.S. House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, U.S. Capitol Police officer Crystal Griner, congressional aide Zack Barth, and lobbyist Matt Mika.

Hodgkinson, a supporter of socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders, got off 70 rifle and handgun rounds while positioned like a sniper behind the third base dugout and then on the move. He was shot and killed by Scalise’s security detail.

minnrioters.jpg

‘The collapse of law enforcement will usher in the end of America as we know it.’
One week later, on June 21, 2017, the FBI determined Hodgkinson’s attack was not domestic terrorism and was not planned.

Andrew McCabe was acting FBI director at the time. By then, McCabe had opened a counterintelligence investigation into President Donald Trump after he fired then-Director James Comey in May 2017. Post-FBI, McCabe emerged as a CNN analyst, continuing his swipes at Trump.

By the fall of 2017, “the attack on a dozen or more Republicans had fast-faded from Washington media consciousness. Conservative pundits asserted that the ‘memory hole’ stemmed from the wrong formula: a backer of Sen. Bernie Sanders like Hodgkinson trying to murder Republicans was not as good a story line as a Donald Trump supporter trying to kill Democrats,” Washington Times reporter Rowan Scarborough noted in a May 9 analysis.

By January 2021 the FBI had openly emerged as a wing of the Democratic Party, prominent conservative critics noted.

The Jan. 6 breach of the Capitol has become the FBI’s “life mission,” retired police chief Pat Droney noted in a May 10 op-ed for Law Enforcement Today. The FBI is out to “get anybody and everybody who can be identified as being at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, whether they committed a crime or not. To date, over 800 persons have been arrested or taken into custody. A number have been locked up, some in solitary confinement, for months without being charged.”

Conversely, Droney wrote, “cities across the country, Portland, Oregon in particular, have been under siege for almost one year. The people responsible for this siege are mostly members of Antifa and Black Lives Matter, two anarchist groups that both have the goal of overthrowing the United States Government.

You know, a REAL insurrection.”

The FBI, Droney noted, “is only one component of law enforcement, and the one which clearly isn’t doing its job. Meanwhile local and state police, trying to keep a handle on the unhinged anarchy and chaos taking place in their communities, are being undermined by political hack district attorneys, who have implemented policies which release criminals before the ink on arrest reports is even dry.”

While Team Biden and the Democrats fully support these policies in cities such as Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York, “most suburban Democrats don’t seem to care what happens in the cities, as long as it isn’t occurring in THEIR city or town,” Droney wrote.

“But what happens if this chaos leaves city streets and moves to the suburbs?
How would those who watch chaos unfolding on their televisions and cheer on the people looting the Target or blocking rush hour traffic in New York feel if it were Main Street in their town getting blocked and their Target getting ransacked? In other words, what happens when the mob comes for YOU?”
The United States, Droney noted, “has always been a nation of laws. Our founding documents spell out that Americans are guaranteed the rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Those principles are expanded upon in our United States Constitution, which guarantees those rights, upon which we are endowed by our Creator.

“The rule of law in this country is all that differentiates us from third-world countries. When nobody is subject to being accountable for breaking the law — be it Black Lives Matter and Antifa thugs in Portland, subway slashers in New York City, or Hillary Rodham Clinton — we have truly lost our country. The collapse of law enforcement will usher in the end of America as we know it.”

Queen's University professors Margaret Walker and Robin Attas wrote a guest editorial for the Canadian Music Society, in which they argue for "decolonizing" music.

In their editorial, addressed "to all who should be concerned," the co-authors argue that Canada's music education systems contain "white supremacist and settler colonial structures."

"As the continuation of anti-Black and anti-Indigenous violence of the past months, years and lifetimes has made evident, the time has ended for further working groups and "Equity, Diversity and Inclusion recommendation committees on how we as educators across all scholarly disciplines must work toward systemic forms of change that are decolonial and anti-racist," they write.

1620801930070.png

In a section labeled "Instructions for structural change," the pair write that the current configuration of entrance requirements, including the "entrance audition," are "white supremacist forms of gate-keeping."

Other "white supremacist" structures include "learning scales," which they say "perpetuate and solidify the hegemony of Euro-American repertoire, music history, and analysis."

Similar attempts to remove white supremacy from music have been reported elsewhere. In March of this year, the University of Oxford said that a rethinking of sheet music, notation, and classical music was necessary.

Musical notation, the Telegraph reported, is now considered "too colonial," while Beethoven and Mozart, and music curriculums in general, are believed by professors to have "complicity in white supremacy."

Attas and Walker are described in their biographies as "white settler music theorists" who explore "decolonized music history."

120 American generals: U.S. may not survive Biden's attack on Constitution
'Our nation is in deep peril'

(U.S. Department of Defense photo)

A letter that has been signed by some 120 retired military leaders who served America in some of its darkest hours and places is warning that the nation may not survive the attack on the Constitution being orchestrated by Joe Biden, the president.

"Our nation is in deep peril," says the letter, which was posted online at The Federalist.

"We are in a fight for our survival as a constitutional republic like no other time since our founding in 1776. The conflict is between supporters of socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of constitutional freedom and liberty."

Biden has, of course, implemented a multitude of socialist ideas for Americans, essentially without even the benefit of Congress, and the letter pointed that out.

"The current administration has launched a full-blown assault on our constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 executive orders quickly signed, many reversing the previous administration's effective policies and regulations," they wrote. "Moreover, population control actions such as excessive lockdowns, school and business closures, and most alarming, censorship of written and verbal expression are all direct assaults on our fundamental rights."

They pointed to the 2020 elections, however, as the most significant red flag.

"Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the 'will of the people' our constitutional republic is lost. Election integrity demands insuring there is one legal vote cast and counted per citizen. Legal votes are identified by state legislature's approved controls using government IDs, verified signatures, etc.

"Today, many are calling such commonsense controls 'racist' in an attempt to avoid having fair and honest elections. Using racial terms to suppress proof of eligibility is itself a tyrannical intimidation tactic. Additionally, the 'Rule of Law' must be enforced in our election processes to ensure integrity," they wrote.

"The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020."

And they warned against the Democrats' openly proclaimed congressional agenda point of taking over all elections in the nation entirely, banning state security requirements and imposing hugely suspect processes such as mail-in ballots for all and hired ballot collectors who would take votes from individuals – and then turn them in.

The report said the signatories include President Ronald Reagan's former National Security Adviser John Poindexter, President George W. Bush's former Deputy Undersecretary of Defense William Gerald Boykin and retired Army Brig. Gen. Donald Bolduc, who is now running for Senate in New Hampshire.

They object to the "litany of left-wing pursuits showcased in the first 100 days of the new administration led by President Joe Biden, who has redefined what it means to run a far-left presidency," the report said.

They cited the Democrats' attack on elections, demand for open borders, unlimited censorship from Big Tech, the attempt to return to the Iran nuclear deal, the damage to the nation's energy independence, and more.

"Under a Democrat Congress and the current administration, our country has taken a hard left turn toward socialism and a Marxist form of tyrannical government," they charged.

Biden, whose president rests on no more than some 43,000 votes spread across three battleground states – where election actions and results prompted calls for investigations into alleged fraud – is working with a 50-50 Senate and an extremely narrow margin of majority in the House, which may be why he's doing so many actions by executive fiat.

The letter asks Americans to toss out far-left politicians and instead choose candidates who value fiscal responsibility and individual rights over socialism.

Mike Lindell Draws HUGE Crowd To First Free-Speech “Frank” Event…Over 250K Watch Online…Eclipses Biden Audiences

By Patty McMurray
Published May 12, 2021 at 7:30am

Joe Biden, the largest ever vote-getter in American history—couldn’t draw more than a dozen people in vehicles to his rallies, even after he became the Democrat Party’s nominee for president.

100 Percent Fed Up – In Philadelphia, Biden gave a rousing speech for the tiny crowd that mostly consisted of media members:

In Georgia, Standing O Joe barely escaped the stampede from the massive crowd as he exited the enormous venue.

Literally, every time Joe left his basement, he was met with enthusiastic voters who couldn’t wait to vote at least once for the confused lifetime politician:

1620845701095.png

Last night, the Left’s biggest nightmare, who appropriately made a fortune by helping people to sleep better, My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell, held his first-ever rally to continue with the kick-off of his free speech social media platform, “FRANK” at FrankSpeech.com. The LIVE rally was watched by over 250,000 viewers on FrankSpeech.com The live event was also broadcast by Right Side Broadcasting (RSB) and OANN.

The dishonest media, who fears Mike Lindell almost as much as the Democrats fear his truth, mocked him for low attendance at his first-ever rally at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD. Brannon Howse, a familiar face on “Frank Speech, organized and produced the event. In addition to private security for Mike, who’s been under constant threat since he began his fight to expose voter fraud, Mitchell, SD Police provided security for rally-goers at the free speech event.

With literally no advertising, Howse estimated that last night’s event drew an astounding 2,500 supporters.

Lines of American patriots wrapped around the building to show their support for one man who valiantly continues his fight to expose voter fraud in the November 2020 election in the face of abject evil.

Inside, the stadium was filled with people who traveled from N. Carolina, Texas, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Tennessee, and from all across the great state of North Dakota for the chance to see Mike Lindell live.

The amazing Mike Lindell, who went from crack addict to CEO of the wildly successful My Pillow company, shared his life story with supporters who all got a free, signed copy of his “What Are The Odds” autobiography and if they chose to wait in line, a photo standing next to their hero.

In addition to the very talented conservative comedian and radio talk show host Joe Piscopo and author Eric Metaxas, Dr. Ben Carson joined Mike’s free speech rally by Skype.

Mike’s first “Frank Speech” rally was a huge success by all normal standards, but our dishonest media shared images of the venue before all of the guests were seated. Late night bully Jimmy Kimmel shared a photo of the event before the guests were inside the venue, as he mocked Mike’s event, telling his audience only 1,500 people attended the event.

Screen-Shot-2021-05-12-at-12.40.15-AM-740x418.png

The far-left rag Salon did a ridiculous hit piece on Mike’s rally, mocking him for the size of the crowd. Curiously, Salon never wrote about the anemic crowds the “81 million” vote-getter Joe Biden attracted during his campaign.

Before the event began, a long line of people waiting to get into the venue wrapped around the outside of the building. But once they got inside, the situation was less impressive. Only around 1,500 people tuned out for the event, which Lindell had initially boasted might draw a crowd of 30,000 supporters. (In fact, the Corn Palace’s seating capacity is just 3,200.) Even so, Business Insider’s Grace Dean noted that some attendees waited in line for seven hours before the doors opened.

Big box stores like Kroger, Wayfair, Kohls, and Bed Bath & Beyond have canceled their contracts with Mike Lindell over his fight for election integrity, costing him at least $68 million in lost revenue, according to Mike Lindell.

Glenn Beck: 'I DON'T recognize my country anymore'
THE GLENN BECK PROGRAM
BLAZETV STAFF
May 12, 2021

Glenn Beck has been warning since last summer that you would not recognize your country in a year. Well, it's not even summer yet, and he says he already doesn't recognize the country.

Do you recognize an America in which people are making more money off government unemployment benefits than they can make by working, inflation is ramping up, housing, supply and labor shortages are widespread, and the current administration gives cybercriminals from Russia a free pass after the biggest cyberattack on our nation's infrastructure to date?

On the radio program this week, Glenn pointed out that while businesses all over the nation are downsizing, one brand store is actually booming — and it says a lot about the state of the economy and what it means for our country's future.

How the Left Plans To Put Boots on the Ground to Subdue Middle America

By Selwyn Duke

It was said during our Mideast military adventures, and has been considered a truism of war, that you can’t really win a conflict without “boots on the ground.” For it’s difficult to completely subdue a people from afar. It may not be too different with battles for civilization.

I stated in 2012, addressing a long-developing reality, that the culture war was over as the Left had achieved social dominance. “What is occurring now is a pacification effort,” I wrote — one designed to stamp out the “conservative” guerrilla-group diehards.

Other than its intensification, the only thing that has changed about this effort in the last decade is that it has a new name: “cancel culture.” With GoogTwitFace (Big Tech) having upped its bias and dropped its mask and corporate America joining academia, the media and entertainment on the Dark Side, these entities act as a malevolent monolith silencing dissident voices from Maine to Maui. But it would be naïve to think the Left, which craves power and wants total control, will be satisfied with its current soft authoritarianism.

This brings us to two developments that could cause the raising of eyebrows if not militias. Consider: If you heard about a Third World country in which the leadership was purging the military of political opponents, would you assume it was just an exercise in ideological nepotism? Or would you suppose the leaders wanted a military of devoted fellow travelers who would, when asked, unflinchingly turn their guns on domestic opponents of the regime who couldn’t be cowed by other methods?

Now, should the assumption be different just because the military purge occurs in a developed country?

Just such an event has been taking place in the U.S. for at least a decade. It began under Barack Obama, who not only tried to socially re-engineer the military but also engaged in a widely noted purge of top military brass.

President Trump didn’t (couldn’t?) do enough to reverse this process, and now it has been kicked into high gear. Having largely corrupted the armed forces’ upper echelons, the Left now aims for rank-and-file ideological conformity. Thus do we hear about how we must stamp out the imaginary boogeyman du jour, “white supremacy,” from the military. Preposterously, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin even issued, in early February, a 60-day stand-down order to address the alleged internal threat it poses.

Of course, white supremacists are about as common as straight, happily married women at a NOW convention; why, I’m well into middle age and I don’t know that I’ve ever met one. This isn’t to say there aren’t liberals delusional enough to believe the threat is real; that they’re detached from reality is partially why leftists are so dangerous.

Yet it’s clear there’s a different motivation among the Machiavellian leftists. It hasn’t escaped the Left’s notice that the military traditionally leaned Republican.

Moreover, even if this has changed somewhat, having armed forces that are obedient to the ruling party to the point of wickedness isn’t possible with dissidents in the ranks. (Besides, “fragging” is a real thing.)

So you need a purge. You do this by conjuring up a boogeyman — in our case “white supremacy” — and then characterizing it as a widespread, existential threat. This now means defining Trump support, patriotism, opposition to illegal migration and, really, any deviation from the Left’s agenda at all as reflecting white supremacy.

It’s an old tactic: Portray already persecuted minorities or political opponents as the persecutors so you can leverage even more control over them. It’s how you create your own Enabling Act moment.

Pre-election polls showing that military members favored Joe Biden over Donald Trump indicate how the armed forces have already been partially transformed (this is true even if the polls were manipulated, and some of what they reflect is general societal “leftward” drift). Yet controlling the military is only part of the equation. You must also own the other boots on the ground: the police.

As soon as the talk of dismantling/defunding/“re-imagining” law enforcement began last year, I pointed out that while much of the movement was driven by blind passion, there’s only one rational reason to want to nix the police. “Certain leftists want to eliminate the police,” I wrote June 7, “because they want to become the police.”

Power-mongers attack those whose power they crave. Leftists want centralized control over local police just as they now have control over the intelligence agencies. They especially want this because law enforcement is generally, it appears, even more conservative than the military (its members are older, for one thing).

In this vein, it hasn’t eluded leftists that certain sheriffs are engaging in nullification efforts, having vowed not to enforce some new anti-gun and/or COVID-related laws. Remember that sheriffs are elected by an area’s local population and, with most counties being conservative (Trump won 83 percent of counties, or about 2,600, in 2016), such nullification isn’t surprising; moreover, expect more resistance to radical leftism in a good portion of this 83 percent of the nation.

So while the Left is quickly gaining monolithic federal control by virtue of large population centers that vote (and steal votes) heavily for Democrats, controlling Middle America with its more patriotic police is a different matter.

That is, unless the Left can institute federal police. Ergo, the “re-imagining” of law enforcement.

Once your sheriff is an Antifa/BLM-sympathizing ideologue installed by D.C. (District of Communism) and hailing from 1,000 miles away — with no local community ties — he’ll happily “discipline” the white supremacists lurking around every corner.

If the Left can co-opt the military and police, it will have seized our country’s last two remaining (relatively) “conservative” institutions. It will also have what’s necessary to quash that impediment to total coast-to-coast hegemony: America’s framework and tradition of state and local control.

Leftists know that the Left-Right divide is intensifying and that more “conservative” states — such as Florida, South Dakota and South Carolina — are increasingly beating their own path. They know that increased nullification of federal dictates lies ahead (heck, leftists wrote the book on it with their violation of federal immigration and drug laws). And they know that as their philosophical soulmate Mao put it, “Power grows out the barrel of a gun.”

There’s no question that certain leftists have thought about using boots on the ground to conclude their pacification effort. Remember that Bill Clinton might have once said: “I loathe the military” back when leftist protesters were calling Vietnam-era soldiers “baby killers” and that today’s socialist rabble spew venom at police. But they don’t in principle hate either institution.

And just as they’ve flipped from hating to liking the intelligence services because they now control them, so would they love the military and police — and use them with zeal — upon seizing them.

Also note that so-called “leftism” is not an ideology (how could it be? Its “principles” change continually). Rather, it currently represents movement toward moral disorder. And leftists are morally disordered people, the worst of them being vice-ridden, amoral and driven by base appetites such as power lust. As I wrote in “The Time for Talking with the Left is Long, Long Past,” perhaps the best way to prepare yourself for contending with them is to “pretend you’re dealing with Satan.”

Vanguard leftists are above nothing and beneath contempt. If you read the worst possible intentions into whatever they do, you won’t too often go wrong.

Biden Administration Expected To Bring Back Obama-Era School Discipline Rules, Which Led To Racial Quotas

By Ashe Schow

In 2014, then-President Barack Obama’s Education Department released school-discipline guidelines that insisted schools must discipline students of different races at the same rate, even if students of a particular race misbehave more often.

In 2018, President Donald Trump’s administration rejected those guidelines, providing a statement to Education Week that said: “In too many instances … the previous administration’s discipline guidance often led to school environments where discipline decisions were based on a student’s race and where quotas became more important than the safety of students and teachers. The Department’s decision to rescind that guidance makes it clear that discipline is a matter on which classroom teachers and local school leaders deserve and need autonomy. The Secretary has continued to encourage local school leaders to implement discipline reforms that they believe will foster improved outcomes for their students.”

Now, President Joe Biden’s Education Department is expected to reinstate those same race-based discipline guidelines, which civil rights attorney Hans Bader described as “unconstitutional racial quotas.”

Bader wrote that the guidelines were discussed at a May 11 event facilitated by the Education and Justice Departments. Speakers suggested Biden not only reinstate the Obama-era guidelines, but expand them. As Bader noted, the Obama guidelines “included a controversial ‘Dear Colleague Letter’ that told school systems they could be investigated by the Education Department for higher black suspension rates, even if suspensions were simply the result of ‘neutral,’ ‘evenhanded’ application of school discipline rules, rather than veiled racism.” Those who spoke in favor of expanding the Obama-era guidelines focused on “intersectionality,” or how one person can belong to multiple minority groups, such as a black transgender youth. Bader wrote that one transgender advocate who spoke at the event “viewed metal detectors and gun bans as unfair to transgender youth, given that they are disproportionately bullied and feel the need to bring guns to school to defend themselves.”

Bader also noted that multiple studies have shown that certain races have higher incidence of misbehavior – for a variety of factors, such as poverty. Further, the attorney wrote, basing discipline decisions on race is unconstitutional:
Because misbehavior rates are not the same for different racial groups, requiring schools to suspend all racial groups at the same rate would be an illegal racial quota. The federal appeals court in Chicago overturned a provision requiring a school district not “to refer a higher percentage of minority students than of white students for discipline unless the district purges all ‘subjective’ criteria from its disciplinary code.” It ruled such “racial disciplinary quotas” are illegal, and “violate equity in its root sense. They entail either systematically overpunishing the innocent or systematically underpunishing the guilty.” (See People Who Care v. Rockford Board of Education (1997).
Speakers at the event also claimed black students were more likely to be harshly disciplined for “minor, nonviolent, subjective infractions,” but as Bader pointed out, discipline data debunks the claim.

“The federal appeals court in Philadelphia pointed out in 1996 that ‘statistical data’ showed larger differences in discipline rates by race for major, ‘very objective’ offenses than for minor, ‘less objective’ offenses. Like several other courts, it did not accept the idea that higher black discipline rates are due to racism in the schools,” Bader wrote.

I went to a 1 rm school for 1 yr

‘Our Nation Is In Deep Peril’: Ret. Military Officers Pen POWERFUL Open Letter to Biden

•May 12, 2021

Glenn Beck

124 retired military officers recently released a letter blasting President Biden, arguing our nation ‘is in deep peril.’ Glenn reads the powerful open letter in this clip, saying he wishes it came from the Republican Party, instead. Glenn says we HAVE felt this kind of defeat before — during the Jimmy Carter years. It’s possible America could make a comeback, like we did under Reagan, but we MUST stand up, focus our attention locally, and believe in our country again..

When I was raising my two kids, they went to a three room school: K; 1-4; 5-8 (7-8 optional.) It was in a remote area of CA. As you say, the kids got to see and hear the curriculum of the older classes.

Parents in our school were very engaged. There were kids from the Res and others in poverty who were in need of a lot of quiet TLC. We cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner for the school and often had Deli Day where the kids pre-ordered sandwiches as a treat. All kids had warm coats, gloves and boots for winter. We had pageants, music special performances and a full play every year.

I made sure my kids participated in sports with the townies so they had friends when they went to Junior High and High School.

Has the Backlash Arrived for Police-Bashing?

Has the Backlash Arrived for Police-Bashing?

Source: AP Photo/Jeff Roberson

Within hours of Saturday's shooting in Times Square where three bystanders, including a 4-year-old girl, were wounded, the two leading candidates to replace Mayor Bill de Blasio were on-site.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, a retired captain of the NYPD, and Andrew Yang, who declared:

"My fellow New Yorkers ... Nothing works in our city without public safety, and for public safety, we need the police. ... My message to the NYPD is this: New York needs you. Your city needs you."

"New York cannot afford to defund the police."

The rush of Adams and Yang to the scene of the shooting, and the messages they delivered, tells us something about the state of play in politics—and not only in the city of New York.

Liberal mayors and urban politicians who enlisted in the Black Lives Matter "defund the police" movement after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis last May, appear to have caught a wave that is now receding.

In the streets of America's cities, violent crimes are spiking to heights unseen since the 1990s. And, instead of "Defund the Police!" the insistent cry is, "Where are the cops?"

Atlanta is a case in point.

Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms just announced she will not run for a second term. While she listed issues and events that exhausted her energy, The New York Times suggests that Atlanta's soaring crime rate made her vulnerable and Bottoms was looking at possible defeat.

Writes Richard Fausset of the Times:

"The most serious political threat that emerged for Ms. Bottoms in recent months was a phenomenon she had previously described as the 'Covid crime wave.' ... Atlanta is struggling with a spike in violent crime, including a 58 percent increase in homicides last year...

"The mayor's inability to get a handle on crime has become the central theme for two challengers," one of whom is city council president Felicia Moore.

"'Atlanta has a mayor that is more interested in things that happen outside Atlanta,' Ms. Moore said in a recent statement, referring to Ms. Bottoms's emerging national stature, including talk that she was rumored to be a possible vice-presidential candidate. 'We need a mayor who knows the No. 1 job of any mayor is to keep our city safe.'"

So visceral is the public reaction to the crime wave in Atlanta that in Buckhead, a wealthy enclave in the northern section of the city, there is talk of secession and taking its tax base with it.'

Why is crime rising and not only in Atlanta?

Among the reasons: the demonization and demoralization of police departments under constant fire for harboring "rotten apples" and rogue cops.

Then there is the "Ferguson Effect" where cops avoid aggressive policing for fear a mistake could cost them their reputation and career, or worse.

In a nation as violent as ours, with daily confrontations between cops and often aggressive and armed suspects, police errors are going to be made. There are going to be unwarranted and unnecessary shootings, woundings and even killings.

In any war, there are casualties and collateral damage, and that is true of America's "war on crime" -- another of our forever wars.

2020 witnessed more than 20,000 criminal homicides with a huge share of that spike occurring in urban America.

New York saw 150 additional homicides and 750 additional shootings in 2020 than in 2019. Chicago saw 274 more homicides and 1,435 additional shootings in 2020 than in 2019.

Los Angeles saw homicides rise 38% as shootings spiked 40%. Washington, D.C., ended 2020 with homicides up for the third straight year.

Killings in Philadelphia, where homicides have risen every year since 2016, almost reached 500, a 40% increase. In Louisville, homicides jumped 70%.

In Detroit, shootings and homicides rose for the second year in a row, increasing by 53%.

Homicides spiked for the second straight year in Minneapolis, to 84 deaths -- the highest tally since 1995. Cleveland had its highest murder tally since 1982, after a nearly 40% jump in killings last year.

Houston hit 413 murders in 2020—a 42% increase over 2019. Indianapolis saw a 40% jump in murders. For Denver, the murder increase was 50 percent.

Cops aren't doing these killings. They're doing their jobs trying to prevent these killings and apprehend the killers.

Florida Parents Scorch Seminole County School Board Over Mask Mandate

By The Scoop

Tuesday night’s Seminole County School Board meeting was a scorching debate over face mask requirements for children.

The Seminole School district has decided to vote on repealing the mask mandate next month while many parents are demanding for it to be repealed now.

One parent stood at the podium to say, “You think holding our children hostage to these mask mandates, which have been proven to be ineffective to prevent COVID, time and time again, is helping your case to keep our students in a hostage situation where it seems your only concern is the teachers union? Yeah, I said it! Teachers union! That’s who you guys are protecting. Then force masks on them!”

Leslie Kirshenbaum who stood at the podium also noted how Chick-Fil-A ended their mask policies for employees and the University of Florida ending their mask policy that was effective immediately.

“We voted you in. We thought you would have the best interest of our children, but it seems you’re playing politics instead. It’s no secret you don’t work for us, but for the teachers union. You’re supposed to do what’s right by our children. So protect them by taking these masks off! And as a requirement, let them be a choice,” Kirshenbaum continued.

During that meeting, a woman was asked to leave after questioning a Superintendent if he was vaccinated which he thought was inappropriate according to footage posted by Fox 35 on Twitter.

Another parent, Jessica Tillman also stated to the board, “We have repeatedly provided you with research articles, data, and information that clearly states children should not be masked. You continue to ignore all of it. This policy has nothing to do with kids’ health. It’s based on irrational fear. Our governor has provided you with data, recommendations, and research offered by credible sources and you ignore it with no explanation of why. Our governor is now suing the CDC for their masking children recommendations.”

“So where is your support, data, and research that you are using to continue making our children? Continuance and false sense of security are neglectful excuses to keep this in place. The Commissioner of the Florida Department of Education sent you a letter stating there was no difference in data for districts with or without a mandate. It is shameful that you refuse to discuss this policy with any supporting details or data and turn a blind eye to actual facts and research. You allow teachers who have been fully vaccinated for months to continue to wear a mask and a face shield, fear-mongering, healthy children,” Tillman questioned.

“The tide is turning against coronavirus-restricting measures in Central Florida’s public schools. Both Volusia and Seminole County started the process of ending their mask mandates for students and faculty this week. At the same time, Orange County Public Schools axed an online education program that had kept kids out of in-person schools through the pandemic,” Orlando Weekly reported.

The outlet also found that Seminole Country decided after the long debate, they will start on the path towards ending the mask mandate. The school board is required to wait 28 days before voting on ‘an eventual repeal of their mask policy.’

“Many in the audience, while in favor of removing the mandate, told WESH 2 News they didn’t think the school board went far enough,” reported by WESH.

“They’re voting yes, but it’s not going to benefit the children for the remaining days of school, and I think that it’s a cop out,” one parent told the outlet.

AMERICAN HEROES: More Than 120 Retired Generals and Admirals Write Joe Biden Questioning His Mental Health — Support Evidence of Election Fraud

More than 120 retired US Generals and Admirals wrote Joe Biden this week questioning him on his mental health. The military leaders also agreed with the myriads of evidence of election fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

The generals also admonish the corrupt FBI and Supreme Court for ignoring the election fraud in the 2020 election.

From the letter to Joe Biden:
Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the “will of the people” our ConstitutionalRepublic is lost. Election integrity demands ensuring there is one legal vote cast and counted per citizen. Legal votes are identified by State Legislature’s approved controls using government IDs, verified signatures, etc. Today, many are calling such commonsense controls “racist” in an attempt to avoid having fair and honest elections. Using racial terms to suppress proof of eligibility is itself a tyrannical intimidation tactic. Additionally, the “Rule of Law” must be enforced in our election processes to ensure integrity. The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020. Finally, H.R.1 & S.1, (if passed), would destroy election fairness and allow Democrats to forever remain in power violating our Constitution and ending our Representative Republic.
The Daily Mail reported:

A group of more than 120 retired military officers have written President Joe Biden to tell him his election was less than legitimate – while questioning his mental acuity.

The letter echoes former President Donald Trump’s claims of widespread election fraud – which have not been borne out in the courts – and comes on a day when Rep. Liz Cheney ripped Trump for his claim that the election was ‘stolen.’

‘Without fair and honest elections that accurately reflect the ‘will of the people’ our Constitutional Republic is lost,’ the letter from retired officers says.

The group calls itself ‘Flag Officers 4 America’ and consists of retired military officers including generals and admirals.

‘The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020,’ they wrote.

The letter, called an ‘Open Letter from Retired Generals and Admirals,’ was reported by Business Insider.

America Is Playing With Fire...

WEDNESDAY, MAY 12, 2021 - 11:40 PM
Authored by Evelyn Markus via The Gatestone Institute,

On May 8, 1945, men and women rushed to the streets of New York, London and Moscow to hug, kiss and dance. Germany had just surrendered.

The war against Nazi Germany was over. The killing had stopped. A great evil had ended
. Yet many had mixed feelings of joy and grief. More than 100,000 US soldiers had given their lives and almost another 450,000 had been wounded. In all, 15 to 20 million Europeans had been killed. May 8 is still celebrated in our times as Victory in Europe Day, or V-E Day.

In 1930, my father moved as a young boy from Holland to Germany with his parents and brothers. My grandfather hoped to earn some money there during the Great Depression. He said that nobody had foreseen what would develop in the next fifteen years. Until 1930, there were only a few hundred Nazi Stormtroopers (SA), or "Brownshirts," in German streets intimidating voters, opponents and Jews. Many of the stormtroopers wanted socialism. In the following years, their number escalated quickly to thousands, and even hundreds of thousands. In 1933, when Hitler took power, there were two-to-three million SA Stormtroopers in Germany. It went amazingly fast, my grandfather always said.

The Nazis were obsessed with race. They suppressed dissent, controlled the dissemination of news and controlled culture. In 1933, the German Student Union started to burn books in an effort to align German arts and culture with Nazi ideas. Books of authors such as Hemingway, Helen Keller and Jack London were considered dangerous and had to be canceled. The students did not see themselves as suppressing culture; they saw themselves as advancing a just culture.

The intimidations by the Brownshirts peaked on Kristallnacht ("The Night of Broken Glass"). It was a night of looting, arson and public humiliation -- solely on the basis of ethnicity. More than 90 Jews were murdered. Then the Blackshirts (SS entities) 'finished it off'. That night, they brought tens of thousands of Jews to concentration camps.

Nazi officials disguised the organized nature of the pogrom. They described the actions as spontaneous and justifiable responses of the German population to the assassination by a Jew of a German diplomatic official, Ernst vom Rath, in Paris.

The government confiscated all insurance payouts to Jews whose businesses and homes had been looted or destroyed during Kristallnacht and blamed the Jews for the destruction. Soon, more Jewish property was confiscated and Jews got canceled from employment in the public sector and from most professions.

In an interview with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Iranian professor and author Azar Nafisi, whose book Reading Lolita in Tehran was canceled in Iran, describes what took place:
"The first thing every totalitarian regime does, along with confiscation and mutilation of reality, is confiscation of history and confiscation of culture. I think they all happen almost simultaneously."
What used to be unimaginable is now taking place in America. We see certain aspects of Nazi-like totalitarianism in the United States. The obsession with race, declaring an ethnic group collectively guilty, shaming, humiliations based on ethnicity, lootings, arson, racist violence, intimidation of opponents, cancel culture, controlled dissemination of news, and indoctrination of children in schools. We see fake news, conspiracy theories, an overhaul of history, a new language imposed, and unprosecuted theft. All in the name of a more just culture.

On May 8, we remembered that America had a leading role in liberating Europe from the totalitarian Nazi regime. But who will liberate America if it becomes totalitarian state? America is playing with fire.

Divided We Stand: Why We Must Resist Political 'Unity'

WEDNESDAY, MAY 12, 2021 - 11:00 PM
Authored by Bruce Frohnen via RealClearPolicy.com,

We hear a lot about “unity” these days. The Biden administration promises and even demands it. Meanwhile, Republicans (and some Democrats) charge the administration with hypocrisy because its radical programs can’t garner a legislative majority — let alone the consensus support the word “unity” implies.

But the charge of hypocrisy misses the point: The demand for unity is dangerous because it aims to undermine the genuine diversity that is essential to a free people.

To call for unity is, in effect, to call for obedience. But free people are not obedient. Free people should obey the law, of course, but they do so only because they have consented to the law. And before consent comes debate: Free people air differing opinions that reflect their differing backgrounds and experiences, rather than bowing to those who claim they know what’s best. Free and open debate — and the diversity of viewpoint such debate implies — is therefore essential to lawmaking in a democratic republic.

This is our constitutional inheritance. Our lawmaking process is structured by mechanisms — such as the separation of powers, checks and balances, and lesser rules like the Senate filibuster — that ensure the views of the minority are not simply brushed aside by a fleeting political majority. Of course, from time to time, Americans do come together as one nation, for instance in the face of great tragedies or crises. Yet, unfortunately, such crises can easily be exploited or manipulated to stifle dissent and centralize political power.

To fight this homogenizing tendency, we must reassert who we are as Americans: free citizens belonging to a wide variety of communities and associations, who can and should be heard in the public square.

Whatever the ideologues of identity politics may claim, America was not founded by “white people.” It was settled by English Puritans and Quakers, German pietists, Swedish and Irish peasants, and Scottish adventurers, to name a few, who found themselves enmeshed in the conflicts of Algonquians, Iroquois, and other native peoples. These settlers formed insular religious communities as well as polyglot commercial towns. Some bought slaves taken by force from what are now Ghana, Nigeria, and other nations of Africa. All of these peoples made America.

One of slavery’s many evils was its presumption that black skin made one an indistinguishable part of a monolithic group, without full human personality and agency. But slavery could not erase humanity. Enslaved people continued to forge diverse relationships, often rooted in common ties going back to specific regions in Africa. And slavery could not take away people’s natural drive to protect their own families and communities. As soon as emancipation came, freed slaves by the hundreds of thousands took to the roads to find lost family and community members, seeking to strengthen ties not even slavery could break.

To reduce the variety of communities that shaped — and continue to shape — Americans of all races is to deny our full humanity.

Communities are where we live, attend school and church, work and play, come together to protect our neighborhoods, and organize everything from charity drives to Easter Egg Hunts. They are where we suffer from nature’s fury, from outbreaks of disease to natural disasters, and grapple with socioeconomic changes, from drug abuse to crime to factory closings to demographic shifts.

Simply put, communities are where we work to maintain, adapt, and rebuild our ways of life in the face of various challenges. Different circumstances, from geography and climate to economic realities and religious and ethnic heritage, shape communities in different ways. All of these communities — and the people belonging to them — are American, but they have different wants, needs, and points of view.

Traditionally, Americans dealt with diversity through local self-government, leaving the state or federal government to decide only on general issues of national concern. This allowed Americans to keep the peace within and among our communities. As with all peoples, there have been tragedies and injustices in our history, most notably slavery. But the freedom implied by self-government has not only allowed Americans to organize their own lives in their own ways. It has also provided Americans with a developed moral sense — one that propelled the movement for emancipation from slavery.

The Framers of our Constitution understood that self-government is freedom and that the concentration of power into one set of hands is tyranny. They understood that presidents must execute laws passed by Congress, not issue executive decrees with the force of law. They understood that courts must protect the laws, especially the higher law of the Constitution, rather than rewrite them. They understood that our nation is a community of communities — that policy and law must grow from the locality up to the nation, not the other way around.

This federal understanding of self-government is reflected in constitutional mechanisms that are peculiar to American politics but universal in their purpose. Thus, for example, we choose senators by state rather than any national ideological platform. And we choose presidents, not by a national popular vote — which would hand power to a few highly urbanized states — but through the Electoral College, which represents the interests of urban, rural, industrial, agricultural, and commercial regions alike. This is not the politics of “unity,” but of shifting coalitions of diverse communities, designed to check the power of a centralized, national government.

Our Constitution contains no national religion or ideology beyond commitment to ordered liberty. It recognizes people’s need to cultivate the habits of a free people by acting within their own localities. Only in local communities, with their own churches, local governments, and voluntary associations can people become good citizens, good men, women, fathers, mothers, and neighbors.

Recent events in cities like Portland and Minneapolis may make it hard to believe that decent, local government is still possible. But the violence in these cities — like the conflicts in our country as a whole — may be partly explained by the erosion of community. When we nationalize our politics, we simplify the challenges we face and ignore the differences among us. Politics becomes a matter of grand, ideological schemes and mechanisms of control, rather than protecting communities and seeking common goods through our local associations and attachments.

Today, rather than yield to demands for “unity,” we must fight to restore a politics of community. The federal government should protect, not replace, the fundamental associations of a free people. Their politics are based in hard-won compromises, which respect the fundamental character of our nation and link together — without eliminating — the diverse associations that together comprise this community of communities.

Detonating the Base of the Intersectional Hierarchy
Or, Not Playing Nice in Clown World

Conservatives are nice people. This is generally fine, but whoever said being nice cost you nothing must not have lived in clown world. By being overly agreeable, people with a conservative disposition habitually make the grave mistake of conceding every seemingly harmless point up until an obviously terrible thing happens. In that moment, having conceded the terms of engagement, they have no recourse. The terms are laid out innocently, in the irresistible language of liberal universalism and personal kindness—nice people do not resist. Nice people won’t complain about the boot on their neck—or if they do, few have the temerity to really fight back.

Transgender activists know this, which is why in the mid 2010s, the language of “preferred pronouns” entered the scene. The movement’s more obviously destructive goals—to kill women’s right to free assembly and association—began with slight modification of language. How does it hurt you to call me by the name and referents I chose for myself? They asked. If it does not hurt you, then you must do it… because not doing so would hurt me. Niceness compels the use of preferred pronouns. But a request so superficially sweet escalated without resistance, over just a few years, to male felons “identifying” as women in order to rape female prisoners in penitentiaries which had been opened to them precisely to accommodate the language of delusion.

Nice people won’t bring this up in polite company. But those exhausted by this pervasive, maximally uncharitable passivity (in other words: not nice, very bad, something-phobic mean people!) should be brainstorming how to fight back. A proposal for my not-so-nice readers: dissidents should consider whether or not the same logic of subversion be applied in reverse, in the service of the truth, to a sexual/racial counterrevolution. What subtle linguistic subversions might be used in real life to unshackle oneself from the bonds of the progressive matrix, in other words, the intersectional hierarchy?

It can be undone from the inside out if infiltrators are willing and insistent enough to change key definitions of words—that is, to use their relativism against them. In the same way that radical leftists have stretched the definitions of marriage, gender, and, uh, infrastructure, in order to get what they want, those who oppose the new orthodoxy must be willing to break the rules. If existing categories referred in any meaningful way to reality, you might have some moral qualms about this kind of subversion. But they do not. Since we are living in the society the Left has wrought, both words and base reality itself are subject to infinite, personal interpretation. Their made-up categories are arbitrary. In destroying our institutions, the enemy has weakened their own.

On any given application to any given school or job in the current year, some section inevitably requires that the applicant check several boxes in order to categorize themselves within the intersectional hierarchy. These victim olympics rely on the self-identification of straight, white males, the base of their pyramid, in order to stand. Every time a straight, white male self-identifies as such, he resigns himself to permanent subjugation, and confirms the validity of the system that seeks to subject him to unyielding abuse.

My question is this: what’s stopping anyone from identifying as multiethnic and gender-nonconforming on every job or school application they fill out from now on? Who ever told you you were white? What does that even mean? Given that the vast majority of white people in this country are hodgepodge mixes of several European ethnicities, it would actually be much closer to the truth to identify as such. What’s stopping straight applicants from identifying as gender non-conforming? Who is to say that you do or do not conform to an ephemeral category which they themselves have reduced to meaninglessness?

Conservatives may poke fun at Elizabeth Warren for her dubious indigenous ancestry, and it is funny because it’s clearly ridiculous, but the fact remains that Warren was willing to stretch the already tenuous definitions of race under an illegitimately ordered system to her advantage, and as a result, she has exerted more power and influence over politics and culture than most of her detractors could dream of.

The real fight against the Malthusian enemies of humanity begins at the beginning: with words. It begins with the willingness to exert power over language. It begins when nice people stop playing along.
