Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James reacted to actress Lori Loughlin being allowed to choose her own prison, stating that it “don’t make no damn sense to me.”

“Of her what!!??? . I’m laughing cause sometimes you have to just to stop from crying! ‍. Don’t make no damn sense to me,” wrote James in a Friday Instagram caption along with a photo of a screenshot of a Vanity Fair article headlined, “Lori Loughlin Will Get to Serve Her Two-Month Sentence at the Prison of Her Choice.”

“We just want the same treatment if committed of same crime that’s all. Is that asking for to much???” added James. “Let me guess, it is huh. Yeah I know!! We’ll just keep pushing forward and not expecting the handouts! STRONG, BLACK & POWERFUL!”

Loughlin was sentenced to two months in prison for her involvement in the infamous college admissions scandal. Some celebrities commented on the NBA star’s Instagram post, echoing his sentiments.

“yeah that sounds about white, i have never herd of that before. you going to jail but pick anyone you want to go to. LOL this is so ****ed up,” wrote rapper 50 Cent.

“Sounds about white,” echoed rapper T.I.

“Whaaaaatttt???!!! Uhh… is it punishment if you get to choose? Is she going to choose her meal program, too??!!” commented How to Get Away with Murder star Viola Davis.

James has been using his platform as an NBA star to express his frustration with the police, pushing the notion that black Americans are treated unfairly in America amid protests and riots that have sprung up across the nation since the death of George Floyd.

Earlier this year, James claimed that black people are “literally hunted everyday” in response to the killing of an unarmed black man in Georgia.

Last month, James joined fellow NBA players in protest of the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin, by boycotting three playoff games. “F*CK THIS MAN!!!! WE DEMAND CHANGE. SICK OF IT,” exclaimed James on Twitter.

Last week, protesters blocking at least two NBA charter buses from entering the Walt Disney World campus were heard chanting into megaphones, “LeBron, can you help us?”

its absurd in the first place, USC is "prestigious" to whom in whose mind? It was certainly never Ivy League and has fallen far in my eyes as most of the Cali university system has. Unless you are trying to get USC film school or UCLA pre med, I see no point in wasting a dime on that state. I have a hard time justifying mail order items from California.

Why can't folks just do things the humble way, apply for FAFSA grants or do the long haul in youth sports for scholarships? Bribing officials or paying surrogates to take entrance exams is hideous. That 500 large would have better been spent relocating to one of the so called lesser flyover states of the interior for in state tuition, and leave the Hollywood cesspool of yacht girl competition for limited freshman slots to the fools who wallow in such foolishness.

He isn't going to have to bribe his kid into college. IF the kid wants to go he will be courted and schmoozed until he's 20 pounds overweight from the dinners and stuff. Kid has daddy's native ability and MOMMY's brains. And if you have done ANY research into MRS. LBJ, you know THAT is a VERY DANGEROUS combo...for everyone else taking him as "just a round ball playa".

A lot of lower-level inmates can choose the prison they are sent to, so as not to inconvenience their families for visitation.
It is actually pretty common for low-time, and especially non-violent non-felony sentences to choose a facility close to home.
Most of LBJ's people don't do those types of crimes.

A guy I served with was able to arrange it with the state and .mil to serve his sentence only on weekends.....
He had to take leave every weekend to go to a cell......It sucked for him, and it was supposed to.
