I got an email from Amazon that one of my stories won the KDP All-Stars for the month of May.
The All-Stars are awarded to the top 100 Authors and the top 100 Books. It is judged by the number of pages read that month (Kindle keeps track of what everyone reads). The email did not say how much I won but I guess the minimum is $1000.
Just goes to show the ANYONE can write and win. I am a nobody who never went to college and only ever worked at dead-end jobs.
If any of you have an imagination, I urge you to try writing a book or a short story. Costs nothing to publish on Amazon and the royalties continue forever.
Amazon publishes 11,000 new titles every DAY.
