JUST IN: Joe Biden to Announce Six Executive Actions on Gun Control, Including "Red Flag" Laws For States to Model
biden-.jpeg

Joe Biden and his Marxist handlers announced six ‘initial’ executive actions on gun control Wednesday evening.
Joe Biden is breaking his pledge to protect and defend the US Constitution just a few months after stealing the 2020 election.

The Biden White House cited the recent shootings in Boulder (Islamic terrorist) and Atlanta (sex addict) in its gun control announcement and claimed the executive actions are “fully within the Admin’s authority and the Second Amendment.”

Today, the Biden-Harris Administration is announcing six initial actions to address the gun violence public health epidemic. The recent high-profile mass shootings in Boulder – taking the lives of 10 individuals – and Atlanta – taking the lives of eight individuals, including six Asian American women – underscored the relentlessness of this epidemic.

But this Administration will not wait for Congress to act to take its own steps – fully within the Administration’s authority and the Second Amendment – to save lives. President Biden is reiterating his call for Congress to pass legislation to reduce gun violence. Last month, a bipartisan coalition in the House passed two bills to close loopholes in the gun background check system. Congress should close those loopholes and go further, including by closing “boyfriend” and stalking loopholes that currently allow people found by the courts to be abusers to possess firearms, banning assault weapons and high capacity magazines, repealing gun manufacturers’ immunity from liability, and investing in evidence-based community violence interventions. Congress should also pass an appropriate national “red flag” law, as well as legislation incentivizing states to pass “red flag” laws of their own.

Biden’s six executive actions include:
  • The Justice Department, within 30 days, will issue a proposed rule to help stop the proliferation of “ghost guns.”
  • The Justice Department, within 60 days, will issue a proposed rule to make clear when a device marketed as a stabilizing brace effectively turns a pistol into a short-barreled rifle subject to the requirements of the National Firearms Act.
  • The Justice Department, within 60 days, will publish model “red flag” legislation for states: Red flag laws allow family members or law enforcement to petition for a court order temporarily barring people in crisis from accessing firearms if they present a danger to themselves or others.
  • The Administration is investing in evidence-based community violence interventions.
  • The Justice Department will issue an annual report on firearms trafficking.
  • The President will nominate David Chipman to serve as Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.
This is just the beginning of Joe Biden’s war on the Second Amendment.
Biden also called on Congress to pass gun control legislation.

Biden will nominate David Chipman, an adviser to a top gun control group, as A.T.F. director.

President Biden will nominate David Chipman, an adviser to the gun control organization founded by former Representative Gabrielle Giffords, to lead the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, or A.T.F., according to two people with knowledge of the move.

The appointment of Mr. Chipman, a former agent with the A.T.F. — the embattled agency tasked with enforcing firearms laws — comes after a wave of recent mass shootings and after weeks of pressure by the Giffords group and other organizations for Mr. Biden to pick a director.

While Mr. Chipman’s selection came as welcome news to gun control groups, few nominees put forward by Mr. Biden have faced steeper odds of confirmation in the Senate, although his allies think he may be able to win narrow approval given the anguish over recent massacres in Boulder, Colo., and Atlanta.

Mr. Chipman's prior advocacy of an assault weapons ban and other restrictions could make it hard for him to muster the 51 votes needed for confirmation, and Senate Republicans have successfully blocked potential A.T.F. directors who were much more in line with their pro-gun base.

But Mr. Biden and his allies believe they have found an ideal candidate in Mr. Chipman, a gun owner who spent 25 years with the bureau, serving on its SWAT team and working on high-profile gun trafficking cases.

“You know, we’re fortunate that, you know, Gabby was shot with a handgun,” Mr. Chipman said on a podcast in 2019, discussing the 2011 attack on Ms. Giffords in which she was shot in the head and six people died. He added that she would not have survived if she had been shot by an assault rifle.

The nomination is expected to be officially announced on Thursday, along with several other executive actions Mr. Biden plans to take to address the proliferation of gun violence this year.

The pick “is exactly what A.T.F. needs after six years without a permanent director,” said Senator Richard Blumenthal, Democrat of Connecticut, and a proponent of tighter gun regulation.

The post has not been an easy one to fill.

One of the main problems in picking a director, according to two gun control activists in close touch with the administration, is that potential candidates are reluctant to sign on for a nomination that is likely to go down in defeat.

One high-profile figure under early consideration, Art Acevedo, the former Houston police chief, recently accepted an offer to run Miami’s police department.

Over the last two decades, Republicans, with the support of conservative Democrats, have embedded into spending bills riders intended to constrain the bureau, including limits on unannounced inspections of gun dealers, prohibitions on documenting the inventories of gun shops and an especially damaging provision that bars the agency from digitizing its records.

In 2006, N.R.A.-allied lawmakers enacted a provision making the position of A.T.F. director, which had previously been a political appointment, subject to Senate confirmation.

As a result, only one director, Obama nominee B. Todd Jones, has been confirmed over the last 15 years.

Former President Donald J. Trump withdrew the nomination of a former top police union official, Chuck Canterbury, after the nominee refused to entirely rule out expanding background checks and other safeguards.

The appointment was reported earlier by The Associated Press.

Depends on how far back you want to go, I guess. After all the single shot muzzle loading flintlocks this nation was won with were the state of the art 'assault weapons' of the time.

It's been a pleasure knowing you folks. Now after 40 some odd years, I'm being recalled to stand by the oath I took so long ago to protect and defend. This will not end well. But Dimitru Duduman and others have warned us it was coming. I just hoped I wouldn't live long enough to see it.

Thank goodness Missouri passed a new law that our gun laws can't be changed by the Federal Gov. On a side note, Jimmy Fallon was making fun of our dementia ridden fake President and how dumb he is. Also making fun of his fall!! Wow! I accidentally caught it as I don't watch Fallon, but I was glad I saw it!

One thought strikes me about "ghost guns". By definition a "ghost gun" is one that can't be traced by serial number. Sooo, if a weapon isn't registered, the serial number might as well not exist. That makes EVERY unregistered firearm a "ghost gun" doesn't it? A short time back there was a proposed bill by that woman (I won't say lady) in Texas saying that people would be required to register their weapons if they wanted to keep them. I do believe this is a back door attempt to get that done WITHOUT going through the trouble of going though congress.

Red flag laws are about taking someones personal private property by force without any due-process of law that is required by the law of the land. It's up to We the People to force the issue of full Due-Process of Law. The stinking sp called president has an obligation by oath of office to uphold the constitution of the United States of America.

I have noticed that there are more and more laws to allow the government at multiple levels to take property without due process.

It has gotten to ........

1) have cash, we take it
2) have guns, we take it
3) protest, we take you

All without due process. They now hold you isolated for weeks on end. You have to pay to get your own weapons or cash back. There is no penalty to the government for their actions.

Worse, if they want all they have to declare it a "national security matter" and everything can now be held from you including charges they have filed against you.

It has gone too far.

We have not gotten to the point where both sides are fighting. So far only one side is fighting.

There were holes in the ceiling of the main building at Waco, from incoming rounds from NG helos. The bullet holes were witnessed and reported at the time.

The steel double front doors of the main building conveniently disappeared (from Texas DPS custody) after the fire, so there was no indication of bullets passing through them from the outside in.

Overview
"A new book by former federal attorney David Hardy further batters the government´s Waco fairy tale. "This Is Not An Assault" provides fascinating inside details on how private investigators squeezed out damning information on Waco -- how federal judge Walter Smith stifled lawyers at the trial last year to prevent jurors from learning of over a hundred items of evidence embarrassing to, or potentially incriminating, the federal government -- and how Republican congressmen (such as Dan Burton) and aidescowered and effectively aided the Clinton administration cover-up. Hardy´s skill in hammering federal agencies with Freedom of Information Act requests was a decisive factor in making Waco a hot political potato in 1999."
James Bovard, The American Spectator Online, April 2001.
In February, 1993, a gun battle erupted outside Waco, Texas, as federal agents attempted to search the communal residence of a religion known as the "Branch Davidians," led by a David Koresh. The battle, and the following siege, was the greatest law enforcement debacle in American history. The taking of a wooden building, largely filled with women and children, cost the lives of four agents and nearly nearly ninety civilians.
For years the Waco issue seemed dead--as dead as the people who died there.

Then in 1999, the Waco issue exploded, with proof that the Federal agencies had lied to their own leadership, to Congress, and to the courts. The Attorney General herself proclaimed that she had been deceived. U.S. Marshals searched FBI headquarters in an unprecedent move, uncovering videotapes that supposedly did not exist. An Assistant U.S. Attorney was indicted.

The turnaround was not brought about by political institutions, media, or any other traditional powerbase. It was caused by three individuals -- an insurance salesman turned documentary maker, an attorney practicing solo, and an eccentric "spook" with sources in the intelligence community.

"This Is Not An Assault" explores this remarkable turnabout. It is authored by someone who saw it from the inside, a former government attorney whose lawsuit forced government agencies to divulge the incriminating documents

Dave Hardy currently blogs at Of Arms and the Law. DW met him at the hearings in 1995 and has always thought highly of him.

I don't know who crewed the helos, just that the helos were there and as far as I know fired first. The whole thing is such a web of lies and coverups it is nigh impossible to sort out, even at this late date. I know a couple of the CAGs who were there. I know the place was bugged and I was told who did it and where he came from but I do not know that personally, just by hearsay.

The model will of course be the already passed D.C. law which is more open then the other states that have passed this law but not as open as Hawaii. In Hawaii even your coworkers and teachers can partition for a individuals guns be removed. But of course you will get your day in court 6 days to 6 months later depending on state law. This is nothing new. Connecticut first enacted the law in 1999. The Biden administration just wants to standardize the law. If you live in these states Michigan,Minnesota,NorthCarolina,Ohio,Pennsylvania and Tennessee your next on the list.

Then President Bill Clinton was not going to appoint Attorney General Janet Reno to another 4 year term, Reno responded...

Morris: "You must understand what was Timothy McVeigh's motivation, God knows what's going on in that crazy head of his but there is some speculation, and he himself had said. that it was the reaction of the Waco takeover and Bill Clinton orchestrated that takeover and in fact was so ashamed of what he did in Waco that he not gonna appoint Janet Reno to a second 4 year term and she told him in a meeting right before the inauguration day for his new term, that if you don't appoint me, I'm gonna tell the truth about Waco and that forced Clinton's hand in reappointing her"
Hannity: "I don't remember you telling this story before"
Morris: "No, it's never been said before. I think that President Clinton might want to examine his own connection with the Oklahoma City bombing in terms of Waco, before he starts accusing people in walkers and wheelchairs who are trying to keep their medicare of being provocateurs"
Hannity: "Wait a minute, so what was the truth about Waco that Reno threatened to use against him?
Morris: "I have no idea, but I know that he told me, Clinton told me that I couldn't not appoint Reno because she would have turned on me over Waco".

Did Hillary Clinton Order Waco Assault?

News Commentary – Winter/Spring 2001

who-is-hillary-clinton.jpg

According to Linda Tripp it was Hillary and not Bill Clinton who directed the final assault on Waco.

During an interview in early February 2001 the former White House aide alleged that Hillary Clinton pressured the late Vincent Foster to resolve the Waco standoff. As a result more than eighty men, women and children were killed. Appearing on CNN’s “Larry King Live” Tripp suggested that Foster, at Mrs Clinton’s direction, transmitted the order to move on the Branch Davidian’s Waco compound, which culminated in a military style attack on the wooden building.

Her accusations lend weight to charges made previously by Special Forces expert and Waco investigator, Steve Barry. According to the former Special Forces member, Hillary set up a special “crises centre” in the White House to deal with Waco. Serving with her in the centre was Vincent Foster who, according to his widow was subsequently: “fuelled by horror at the carnage at Waco for which the White House had ultimately been responsible.”

Foster himself was found dead, from a gun-shot wound to the head, in a Virginia park three months later. Could he have known too much about Waco?

Journalist Ambrose Evans-Pritchard maintains that Foster had been “drafting a letter involving Waco” on the very day of his death. Moreover Evans-Pritchard says that Foster kept a Waco file in a locked cabinet that was off limits to everyone, including his secretary.

Prior to Waco, Foster was “dignified, decent, caring, smart” says Linda Tripp; in its aftermath though, she said: “…Vince was falling apart.”

She was with the former White House deputy counsel when the news about Waco broke on television. “A special bulletin came on showing the atrocity at Waco and the children. And his face, his whole body slumped, and his face turned white, and he was absolutely crushed – knowing the part he had played.”

“And he had played the part at Mrs Clinton direction,” said Tripp.

Moreover there was a marked contrast between Foster’s heartfelt emotion at the Waco tragedy and Hillary Clinton’s, Tripp insists: “Her reaction was heartless”.

Her accusations give further weight to allegations first levelled in the 1999 documentary on the deadly confrontation, “Waco: A New Revelation.” The film featured the account of former House Waco investigator T. March Bell. “One of the interesting things that happens in an investigation is that you get anonymous phone calls,” Bell explained in the film. “And we in fact received anonymous phone calls from Justice Department managers and attorneys who believe that pressure was placed on Janet Reno by Webb Hubbel, pressure that came from the first lady of the United States.”

Mrs Clinton grew more and more impatient as the Waco stand-off came to dominate the headlines during the early months of the Clinton administration, said Bell. It was she, according to Bell’s sources, who pressured a reluctant Janet Reno to act.

“Give me a reason not to do this,” Reno is said to have begged aides shortly before orders were issued for the final assault.

The Left historically always relish going all sporty on conservative folks.

Clinton's BATF at Ruby Ridge and Waco. When the BATF wasn't enough at Waco, they brought in Wesley Clark's Tanks and burned everything to the ground.

Obama's FBI, CIA, NSA, DOJ and IRS fully weaponized against conservatives to hold power.

After 8 years, it wasn't enough.

People got fed up and Trump won the nomination. So they backed protesters and riots leading up to the last election and Trump won.

Wasn't enough, so they planned a coup against a duly elected President, for 3 1/2 years they have tried to remove him from office. With weaponized federal agencies and MSM.

Wasn't enough.

So now they are bringing a bloody Revolution leading up to this election.

Wasn't enough.

So the MSM/BT in league with the DNC censored truth and banned millions of conservatives voices. Called a Lid on all things negative on the DNC/Biden.

Wasn't enough.

So they stole the election through changing state laws to allow mail in votes to stuff ballots in swing states and Dominion Voting Machines to move votes in one direction for Biden securing DNC power.

Wasn't enough.

80 million deplorables refuse to accept the election results in spite of being censored off Social Media and BT. Some went to DC to protest.

Wasn't enough.

So the DNC treated 1/6 as a Reichstag event to militarize DC. We now have a 2 tiered JustUS system for Conservatives being destroyed for meandering on .gov grounds while BLM/ANTIFA (DNC Storm Troopers) are free to terrorize Burn and Loot American cities.

Still isn't enough.

The Biden Administration runs unprecedented amounts of EO's with zero transparency while the MSM/BT shows amazing hypocrisy compared the way they handle conservatives over the past 4 years.

The MSM has gone out of their way to try and frame recent shootings on White Supremacy and the need to ban Assault Weapons. Now Biden goes after the 2A with executive action and the filibuster. They want to keep pushing until they incite new Waco's to frame their justification in removing the the 2A while using deadly force to eliminate fighting deplorables.
