Where is the thread? It's the weekend for a lotta people. You know the rules. I'll start.... (given no leave of course - I'm breaking rules).

- Any music genre is acceptable.

- Don't knock somebody else's music, your taste may be crap also.

- Label your videos as PG or PG-13 as required.

- Add lyrics or screen shots as you see fit.

- Drink responsibly, use a glass.

- Runtimes are not required unless it is an exceptionally long video. (i.e. full concerts)

Wait a minute, you can’t do this! Red Baron is going to have a conniption fit. The weekend dance party is very structured and cannot be screwed around with.

Its like starting a thread with no content, video with no runtime, a news story with an incorrect title.

This is very serious business and can’t just go rogue like this.

I almost misspelled a word. Do you think I want Dennis on my ass?

At a summer party held with a bunch of coworkers many moons ago (1995ish), me and a buddy played music. We did this song.
Very straightforward, with two acoustic guitars. Until... we got to the keyboard solo at the end. While I continued playing the rhythm, my buddy "performed" the keyboard solo by singing (howling) the keyboard parts into the hole on his acoustic. I didn't know he was gonna do it. He had me and everyone else in stitches.

Ah... the good old dayz. I hope people just post the songs that are striking the chord with them now. It's weird times. The holiday IS the weekend for many. And it's a long one. We all have our obligations and commitments, but when a musical theme presents itself... my purpose in starting the thread was that they can post & express themselves. No judgement. At all. Free for all.

Holidays are hard enough, sometimes. I'm not looking to dominate a musical theme or steal Red Baron's thunder. I drop in & out of the weekend threads sporadically. Just this weekend... I am feeling froggy and leaped. Share as you like. Tell stories too! Music is what holds a lot of us together. We all know it. Because we were there sometimes. Or because it stands the test of time.
