MAGA isn't going anywhere. It's an idea; it inspired a lot of good things. It's up to the people to keep the faith - or let their anxiety/worries about what they don't control look to blame anyone. I would LOVE to see a bunch of 80 yr old congress critters voted out. Politics shouldn't be a lifelong career - but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for term limits.

Many people talk about red vs blue at the leadership level, them being the same bird/coin and i dont disagree but the voters/base for the two main parties are 180 degrees out from each other, we live in different Americas in a sense and have nothing in common.

Well, one example right now. Look how many are abandoning Trump, just because of gas prices. They totally ignore everything else.
The Blue team gets focused on the same single crap, like healthcare for illegals, or LGBTQXYZ crap, or taxing millionaires, etc. which are all low factor issues, in the single digit percentage wise.

I 100% percent agree our elections have so much fraud that it is near impossible to win without becoming as corrupt as the leftists. That said, when it comes to republicans the biggest obstruction to restoring honest and transparent elections is rinos within the republican party.

In my area the problem is RINOs and they're sure not MAGA. A secondary problem is the price of fuel right now. It's impacting planting and vacations, two areas that Iowa politicians with even half a brain know to leave alone. If gas prices drop by at least $0.50 before the Memorial Day weekend, the decrease will erase a lot of the butthurt that's going on right now locally.
He was always a politician.
There wasn't a choice of who to vote for. He was the only candidate that presented even a mote of a chance to change the trajectory of the country. He ran on that and gave us what he wanted to accomplish.
He lied about that and has forsook all of those items to become a great and powerful warlord apparently. Iran will destroy any progress he has already made domestically.
Just because we voted for him (I voted for him 3 times) doesn't mean he is not accountable to his broken agenda. Sure, he was better than Kamala and was elected. Those still enjoying the warm yellow showers he bestows upon them can only believe because they can't handle the possibility they were played the fool and will defend him unto death. He is concerned about his "legacy" and is willing to burn the world to the ground to get it.
I think most on the right in the US think too small. MAGA is about getting back our independence. There are a lot of moving parts that require the 50,000 foot overview.

They came in, analyzed the data, and said "here's what we found without even digging. Everyone should be outraged and demanding answers". There are only a handful of people, like Datarepublican (small r) on X, who are doing the work.
From Argentina to Greenland, MAGA is the new Monroe Doctrine. Trump is kicking ass securing energy and rare earth minerals for the US first, with a secondary emphasis on turning the western hemisphere into allies. Having prosperous neighbors who are happy with us solves more than fighting immigration.
And Elon. He's currently reshaping manufacturing and modernizing it to bring us on par with China. What Elon is doing is only comparable to Henry Fords revolutionary ideas for mass production.

Trump isn't god and doesn't deserve worship, what he deserves is respect and people to follow him as a leader trying to fix our broken country.

Nobody expected Trump to be perfect. But everyone should expect his priorities to be consistent. To even suggest that someone who is now disillusioned with Trump and the MAGA movement may somehow regret not supporting camel toe or any other leftists for that matter is only further deepening the divide within the conservatives as we have all been lied to and screwed by the leftists as well as "so called" republicans throughout our lives. The only difference being the leftists usually reveal the f**king they are going to give America while the "so called" republicans fu covertly. If the only choice in our elections is between the least rotten apple in a basket of rotten apples, then nothing short of a revolution will stand a chance of restoring and preserving our Constitutional Republic.
I don't disagree with you on the importance of keeping the democrats out of control. It is personally the source of my frustration as he has spend all of the political capital he had on Iran--and then some.

MAGA is the workaround to corruption. Until congress passes term limits and cracks down on lobbyists, the rot will remain forever entrenched. Or a civil war with the moslem communist alliance which has already formed versus Christian nationalists most of whom refuse to accept the former has already declared war.

I think that would be a winner. Rubio can pull back in moderate conservatives. Vance will need to go back to his previous position of being neutral vis-a-vis MAGA to do the same. I will give it to him, he has been a good soldier in his current role.
Thankfully they are still in major turmoil as they are having their own internal warfare between old-school democrats and the new idiots like Omar, Ocasio-Cortez, and such. While they are down the stake needs to be put in their heart. We were doing a great job with that in 2025, not so much in 2026.

Support for advancing AI that will primarily serve to replace American workers, increase domestic surveillance capabilities on American citizens, strain our power infrastructure resulting in rising energy cost as well as possible failures, strain our water supplies, and coordinate widespread censorship and misinformation campaigns.
Our governments deficit spending continues to grow.

It's this. I voted for him 3 times because 3 times I had nothing but terrible choices to make and I thought Trump was the least bad choice of a bad bunch. I believed in populism and nationalism and wanted to industrialize and end demographic replacement of white americans.
I got 1 term that quickly went sour with tons of bad hires and being mired down in impeachment proceedings and the second term was like speed running all the bad decisions from the 1st term except now I got GW Bush policies and talking points including another bullshit war nobody asked for. and a blank check to legally import as many H1Bs as it takes to make sure no native born american will ever have gainful employment ever again.
I never signed up to worship him unconditionally. I got none of what I wanted and Invar was right about lucy pulling away the football.
Midterms and 2028 are in his court to win or lose at this point and it's not looking good. I'm looking forward to being hunted down like a dog for daring to support him when the democrats win in a landslide after the war spirals and the economy tanks.
