Anyone get theirs deposited yet? The second wave should be deposited on or around the 20th with the third wave after .

Nope. In fact the $10 I owe them is still in the account, they won't take it.

I give up.
Check after 1 AM-ish, that's usually when mine are there.

But Pence said today by the end of next week, so who knows.

Owner does not have a "direct deposit" connection with the IRS. He's never filed electronically. Instead doing the paper out using the usual commercial software - but printing it out and mailing the 28 plus sheets.

Owner is not trying to endear himself to the IRS - rather he would have them "work" for their money. So he says.

Plus I think he has a thought that "attachment" can be done ever so much easier if first they have "connection."

So I expect he'll come back from the mailbox someday like Steve Martin? "The IRS checks are here - the IRS checks are here!"

Owner's funny...

Steve Martin much more so. Plus Martin plays banjo.

Someone online said they received theirs. I have a feeling I won't get mine for a very long time. I owed the IRS for about 3 years in a row. Finally got it straightened out last year and got a $98 refund which was to be applied to what I owe. Well, I went to file this year and get a decent refund of course which will be applied to what I owe. However in the course of doing my 2019 taxes, they said I never filed for 2018. I have the e-file copy and receipt showing I did but I can't call because live IRS assistance is no longer available- at least right now. I filed 2019 anyway and had to give them my banking info because the software doesn't know you owe so it asks DD or check for refund. They have DD info anyway from my monthly payments- so I don't know if I will get direct deposit or a check. Will not count on anything until it's in my account...

Yes, we read that the IRS "help centers" were shut down right away after all of this started. Apparently that isn't an "essential service". Don't know how it's affecting audits, but they are still sending out a bunch of notices. I suspect that a lot of them are computer generated.

you will get the money.trump suspended all irs collections and debt for now so people who owe taxes etc will get the relief, they will also go off any direct deposit info they have on file, i would say to expect a direct deposit

nothing yet. I file digital and receive my refund direct deposit. Will check tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Could really use some help. My in-laws being stuck here for who knows how long is straining the bank of Burrito. (both food and money lol)

They want to make sure there is total accountability for the monies paid to people. Every dime accounted for! If there is one thing the government does well, it is to make sure that every cent goes to the right place at the right time for the right reason! I'm over the threshold so none of it is coming my way, but notice how the media stopped talking about those payments? It was great to get the people behind the stimulus bill, but now that it's been passed with all of the urgency that could be mustered, I can't help but notice a distinct lack of discussing the actual payouts. I'm pretty sure the museums and parks and rec departments got theirs already...

"The IRS expects to start sending an initial wave of economic stimulus payments, worth up to $1,200 apiece, to some 60 million Americans the week of April 13, Treasury Department and IRS officials have told the House Ways and Means Committee."
