Hahaha, that's pretty crazy. I couldn't eat all that Asian food at once though.
I know right! When he put that stuff into the hotpot and then went and got sushi and fried fish I was like "what"? And then he topped the hotpot off again!

So true, however, I found at the Japanese Hibachi in Des Moines they do have veggies on their buffet, like broccoli, green beans, eggplant, etc., and if you eat some of that you might actually last an hour before becoming hungry again.
Do you know how long ago this was? Wonder if it's still there?

Fantastic. There were 3 or 4 sushi chefs in the middle of the conveyor plating it and putting it on the conveyor. They were always packed with people.

I’ve always been amazed at how much food Asians eat. It’s typically one big meal a day with constant snacking in bits of stuff throughout the day.
The stories I could tell, you see my 1st wife was Chinese. We met at work and we both attended & graduated the same university.

Sushi Boat & Sushi Train places were pretty copmmon in the 70s-90s in Western Canada touristy places - Banff, Jasper and such. At least one in Edmonton but oddly not at WEM.

OC said so long as it’s all you can eat, especially with the seafood and shell fish, then it’s worth it. I’ll report back when I go to the place in Omaha late next spring in 2023.
