If You Still Want Mountain House

Post-March-Buy perspective, as I am getting some inquiries:

The TB2K price now on the 8-case/48-can package as listed in my store (and which figured prominently in the March Mountain House buy concluded yesterday with almost $250,000 in orders) is $753, shipping included--still a great deal. (Similar TB2K discounts on the 150-can package.) And no deadlines. There ARE still delivery delays for the next several weeks as they rebuild inventory. Our ordered product varieties are shipping as they are produced, with the last foods shipping as late as mid-May.

See (but don't buy thru the store--instead email or PM me): the store listing for the 48-can package.

Vic, I think you meant the 8 CASE package.

By the way, there ARE a couple of other deals current and future I can point out ...

1. The Mountain House 7-day pouch kits--called "Just in Case." The TB2K price is $97, shipping included. (See, but don't order thru the store to get the special price: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8793517731 )

Now here's a better deal--
For seven of the Just in Cases, your TB2K price will be $604 total, if paid by cashiers check or money order. If paid by Paypal, it's an extra $15.

These are in stock at Mountain House, so delivery should take place in roughly 10 days or so.

These pouches are newly made--straight from the factory. By the way, Mountain House is beginning the process of advertising that they have moved the shelf life on these pouch products to 7 years (rather than 5 years). They have plenty in stock right now, but one other note--they are not going to be continuing the 7-Day kits so when the stock is out--it's all she wrote.

2. I expect to have in hand, on premises, in about 6 weeks or so, all the foods needed for our traditional 3-case, 18-variety Mountain House cans kit. ($389, shipping included ... see: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4429147936&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1 ) When they are all here, I will start another of those buys and will be able to immediately ship each order as it is received, at least until my inventory is depleted.

See posts 1 and 6 above for the latest buy info if you are looking for the best available deals.

For those of you awaiting your food from the March buy ... nothing has changed as far as expectations for the food shipments from Mountain House. They are working overtime to restock their #10 can inventory. Our ordered food varieties will ship in stages over the next several weeks, with the last of the foods shipping as late as mid-May. Note that it's possible Mountain House may wait to send all or most of your food at once--particularly the larger quantity orders--to maximize shipping cost efficiencies.
