Rushed move, lost my gardens.

Dog fight first night, serious bite wounds, ne an inch from my fistula, thought I was going to hve to shoot the agressor.

People keep letting the critters out, property has temp fencing I put up on day one. Also lost mmost fencing in move but hey, at leastt we got the 40 year old bedframe we have no mattresses fo, right.

Important things.

Hurricane and, to top it off some sortbof flu and no rest.

Think I am past the worst of it tho.....

I hope the new place is everything it needs to be for you and FL, Sat.
If I bought a new place and was starting a new garden I would call the power company and tell them they're welcome to dumb wood chips from clearing the right of ways on my lot ANYTIME. Then I'd put and add on craigslist, FB marketplace, and Nextdoor that I will come and pick up any bagged leaves/grass and dispose of them within X distance of my house for free. Then gather all of the stumps and logs or dead wood I could find and start mounding hugelkultures in an east/west and some in North/South config for optimal light, depending on crops. Some leafier greens prefer the north side of the hill in real hot areas. Dig a root cellar, build a smoke house.. I'm sure it's all in plans:) we'll be thinking about and rootin for ya!!

I li!e the idea. My beds were huegellkulture i sde the steel walls.

Problem is hers fl decided they were 'ugly' and wants it all i ground. She has zero idea how much more of a pain ingrou d can be when itcomes to weeds insects, vermin and different plants needing different soil conditions
