Fox News host Tucker Carlson revealed a new email concerning Hunter Biden’s work with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma on Thursday night.
Carlson obtained an email alleged to be from Biden’s old laptop that was turned over to a Delaware computer repair shop and never retrieved. The email reveals that a public relations firm, Blue Star Strategies, was involved in coordinating scheduling between Burisma executives and Obama administration White House officials.

In the later years of the Obama administration, then-Vice President Joe Biden, the current Democratic nominee for president, led U.S. diplomat relations with Ukraine. Joe Biden’s son Hunter sat on the board of Burisma at the same time.
According to Carlson, Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to Burisma’s board, emailed Biden and his then-business partner Devon Archer about their “final goals” and to form a “concrete course of action” related to their dealings with Burisma.
“So what did Burisma want exactly? Well, good PR for starters,” Carlson said. “The executive wanted, quote, high-ranking U.S. officials to express their, quote, positive opinion of Burisma. And then he wanted the administration to act on Burisma’s behalf.”

Pozharskyi told Hunter Biden that Burisma executives wanted public support from U.S. officials, as well as to “close down any cases/pursuits against the head of Burisma in Ukraine,” Carlson said, quoting Pozharskyi’s email.

Carlson then revealed a Dec. 2, 2015, email from the PR firm Blue Star Strategies obtained exclusively by “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

“Hello all … This morning the White House hosted a conference call regarding the Vice President’s upcoming trip to Ukraine. Attached is a memo from the Blue Star Strategies team with the minutes of the call, which outlined the trip’s agenda and addressed several questions regarding U.S. policy toward Ukraine,” the email said.

“So here you have a PR firm involved in an official White House foreign policy call. How could that happen? Good question—but it worked. Days later, Joe Biden flew to Ukraine and did exactly what his son wanted. The vice president gave a speech slamming the very Ukrainian law enforcement official who was tormenting Burisma. The exact guy,” Carlson said, referring to former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin.

The New York Post earlier this week published emails alleged to have come from Hunter Biden’s damaged laptop.
As The Daily Wire reports:
On Wednesday, the New York Post published an April 17, 2015 email from Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, addressed to Hunter Biden and thanking him for setting up a meeting between Pozharskyi and Vice President Biden. The email was sent roughly a year after Hunter Biden had joined the board of Burisma at a reported salary of $50,000 a month and with no experience working in the energy sector.
“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent (sic) some time together. It’s realty (sic) an honor and pleasure,” the email says. “As we spoke yesterday evening, would be great to meet today for a quick coffee. What do you think? I could come to you (sic) office somewhere around noon or so, before or on my way to [the] airport.”
The email calls into question previous claims of ignorance made by Joe Biden about his son’s business dealings in foreign countries. In September 2019, the former vice president denied ever discussing his son’s overseas business dealings with him.

UPDATED 10:06 AM PT – Saturday, October 17, 2020

Former New York City mayor and Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani said the evidence allegedly implicating the Biden family’s corruption will be released 10 days before the election.

In an interview on Thursday, Giuliani spoke about the latest allegations brought against Democrat nominee Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden. The attorney pointed out the hypocrisy in the mainstream media demanding to verify the information when they continuously chase unsubstantiated claims about the President.
Giuliani said he won’t release all the information found on Hunter Biden’s hard drive just yet because the Democrats will just try to brush it all off.

Senate Homeland Committee Demands Answers From FBI Over Hunter Biden Laptop

Sat, 10/17/2020 - 16:02

Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-WI) has fired off a Saturday letter to FBI Director Chris Wray demanding answers over the agency's handling of Hunter Biden's laptop.

According to the letter, after Johnson released his a report on Hunter Biden's activities abroad which raised "counterintelligence and extortion concerns," Johnson's committee was contacted by a whistleblower - ostensibly Delaware computer shop owner John Paul Mac Issac - who "informed my staff that he had possession of a laptop left in his business by Hunter Biden."

Issac told Johnson that "he provided its contents to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in response to a December 9, 2019 grand jury subpoena," to which the FBI responded that they "would not confirm or deny any information identified by the committee." In other words, Wray's FBI stonewalled when confronted with direct questions by the Senate Homeland Security Committee.

To review the timeline - according to an associate of Issac, Hunter Biden left three laptops at the repair shop on April 12, 2019. In September of 2019, after Hunter failed to respond to come pick them up, Issac walked into the FBI office in Albuquerque, New Mexico and spoke with an agent.

Two months later, while Democrats were holding Trump-Ukraine impeachment hearings, two FBI agents from the Wilmington, DE office, Joshua Williams and Mike Dzielak, paid Issac a visit. He offered them one of Biden's hard drives, which they declined to take with them. Two weeks later, they came back with a subpoena for the drive.

After months of silence from the FBI, Issac contacted Rudy Giuliani and offered him a copy of the drives.

The FBI, of course, is laughably investigating the Hunter Biden emails as a potential Russian influence operation despite the above timeline.

Johnson, meanwhile, asks the FBI the following questions:

1. Does the FBI possess material from Hunter Biden's laptop(s)? If yes. how and when did the FBI obtain this information?

2. Is it accurate that FBI officials obtained contents from Hunter Biden’s laptop from a business located in Delaware? If so:
  • When did the FBI first examine these records?
  • Has the FBI concluded its examination of these records?
  • Has the FBI found any evidence of criminal activity based on its examination of these records?
  • Has the FBI determined whether the records on the computer was generated on that computer. Is genuine, or has been altered in any way?
  • Has the FBI determined whether these records were generated or authored by Hunter Biden?
  • Has the FBI determined whether these records are a result from someone hacking Hunter Biden's computer?
3. Is it accurate that the FBI issued a grand jury subpoena from the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware to obtain this information? If so, when and why was this subpoena issued? Was this information ever offered to the FBI voluntarily?

4. When and how were you made aware that the Delaware computer repair shop owner possessed a computer and its electronic contents that he claimed originally belonged to Hunter Biden?

5. In addition to these records allegedly provided in response to a subpoena, has the FBI ever been in possession of any other of Hunter Biden's laptops) or material from Hunter Biden's laptop?

Full Story Behind Hunter's Laptop Debunks Latest Russia Conspiracy Theory

Sat, 10/17/2020 - 13:35

As the Hunter Biden laptop scandal threatens to throw the 2020 election into chaos with what appears to be solid, undisputed evidence of high-level corruption by former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter, the same crowd which peddled the Trump-Russia hoax is now suggesting that Russia is behind it all.

To wit, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, who swore on National television that he had evidence Trump was colluding with Russia - now says that President Trump is handing the Kremlin a "propaganda coup from Vladimir Putin."

Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) has gone full tin-foil, suggesting that Giuliani was a 'key target' of 'Kremlin constructed anti-Biden propaganda.'

Headlines in major publications are perhaps even more conspiratorial:

And of course, propagandists are doing their thing...

Yet, if one looks at the actual facts of the case - in particular, that Hunter Biden appears to have dropped his own laptops off at a computer repair shop, signed a service ticket, and the shop owner approached the FBI first and Rudy Giuliani last after Biden failed to pick them up, the left's latest Russia conspiracy theory is quickly debunked.

* * *
Authored by Larry C Johnson via Sic Semper Tyrannis (emphasis ours)

This is the story of an American patriot, an honorable man, John Paul Mac Issac, who tried to do the right thing and is now being unfairly and maliciously slandered as an agent of foreign intelligence, specifically Russia. He is not an agent or spy for anyone. He is his own man. How do I know? I have known his dad for more than 20 years. I’ve known John Paul’s dad as Mac. Mac is a decorated Vietnam Veteran, who flew gunships in Vietnam. And he continued his military service with an impeccable record until he retired as an Air Force Colonel. The crews of those gunships have an annual reunion and Mac usually takes John Paul along, who volunteers his computer and video skills to record and compile the stories of those brave men who served their country in a difficult war.

This story is very simpleHunter Biden dropped off three computers with liquid damage at a repair shop in Wilmington, Delaware on April 12, 2019. The owner, John Mac Issac, examined the three and determined that one was beyond recovery, one was okay and the data on the harddrive of the third could be recovered. Hunter signed the service ticket and John Paul Mac Issac repaired the hard drive and down loaded the data. During this process he saw some disturbing images and a number of emails that concerned Ukraine, Burisma, China and other issues. With the work completed, Mr. Mac Issac prepared an invoice, sent it to Hunter Biden and notified him that the computer was ready to be retrieved. Hunter did not respond. In the ensuing four months (May, June, July and August), Mr. Mac Issac made repeated efforts to contact Hunter Biden. Biden never answered and never responded. More importantly, Biden stiffed John Paul Mac Issac–i.e., he did not pay the bill.

When the manufactured Ukraine crisis surfaced in August 2019, John Paul realized he was sitting on radioactive material that might be relevant to the investigation. After conferring with his father, Mac and John Paul decided that Mac would take the information to the FBI office in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mac walked into the Albuquerque FBI office and spoke with an agent who refused to give his name. Mac explained the material he had, but was rebuffed by the FBI. He was told basically, get lost. This was mid-September 2019.

Two months passed and then, out of the blue, the FBI contacted John Paul Mac Issac. Two FBI agents from the Wilmington FBI office–Joshua Williams and Mike Dzielak–came to John Paul’s business. He offered immediately to give them the hard drive, no strings attached. Agents Williams and Dzielak declined to take the device.

Two weeks later, the intrepid agents called and asked to come and image the hard drive. John Paul agreed but, instead of taking the hard drive or imaging the drive, they gave him a subpoena. It was part of a grand jury proceeding but neither agent said anything about the purpose of the grand jury. John Paul complied with the subpoena and turned over the hard drive and the computer.
In the ensuing months, starting with the impeachment trial of President Trump, he heard nothing from the FBI and knew that none of the evidence from the hard drive had been shared with President Trump’s defense team.

The lack of action and communication with the FBI led John Paul to make the fateful decision to contact Rudy Giuliani’s office and offer a copy of the drive to the former mayor. We now know that Rudy accepted John Paul’s offer and that Rudy’s team shared the information with the New York Post.
John Paul Mac Issac is not responsible for the emails, images and videos recovered from Hunter Biden’s computer. He was hired to do a job, he did the job and submitted an invoice for the work. Hunter Biden, for some unexplained reason, never responded and never asked for the computer. But that changed last Tuesday, October 13, 2020. A person claiming to be Hunter Biden’s lawyer called John Paul Mac Issac and asked for the computer to be returned. Too late. That horse had left the barn and was with the FBI.

John Paul, acting under Delaware law, understood that Hunter’s computer became the property of his business 90 days after it had been abandoned.

At no time did John Paul approach any media outlet or tabloid offering to sell salacious material
. A person of lesser character might have tried to profit. But that is not the essence of John Paul Mac Issac. He had information in his possession that he learned, thanks to events subsequent to receiving the computer for a repair job, was relevant to the security of our nation. He did what any clear thinking American would do–he, through his father, contacted the FBI. When the FBI finally responded to his call for help, John cooperated fully and turned over all material requested.

The failure here is not John Paul’s. He did his job. The FBI dropped the ball and, by extension, the Department of Justice. Sadly, this is becoming a disturbing, repeating theme–the FBI through incompetence or malfeasance is not doing its job.

Any news outlet that is publishing the damnable lie that John Paul is part of some subversive effort to interfere in the United States Presidential election is on notice. That is slander and defamation. Fortunately, the evidence from Hunter Biden’s computer is in the hands of the FBI and Rudy Giuliani and, I suspect, the U.S. Senate. Those with the power to do something must act. John Paul Mac Issac’s honor is intact. We cannot say the same for those government officials who have a duty to deal with this information.

Before The Bidens "Did" Ukraine, There Was Iraq... And Serbia

Sat, 10/17/2020 - 22:30
Authored by James George Jatras via The Strategic Culture Foundation,
The United States approaches the November 2020 election with growing apprehension, even dread.

Among the possibilities:
For those who have followed events outside the United States during the past few decades, much of this sounds familiar. We’ve seen it before – inflicted on other countries.

Now It’s Coming Home to the U.S.

As explained by Revolver News, what happens in America next to a great extent may be a form of blowback from a specific event: the U.S.-supported 2014 regime change operation in Ukraine:
‘A “Color Revolution” in this context refers to a specific type of coordinated attack that the United States government has been known to deploy against foreign regimes, particularly in Eastern Europe deemed to be “authoritarian” and hostile to American interests. Rather than using a direct military intervention to effect regime change as in Iraq, Color Revolutions attack a foreign regime by contesting its electoral legitimacy, organizing mass protests and acts of civil disobedience, and leveraging media contacts to ensure favorable coverage to their agenda in the Western press.
‘It would be disturbing enough to note a coordinated effort to use these exact same strategies and tactics domestically to undermine or overthrow President Trump. The ominous nature of what we see unfolding before us only truly hits home when one realizes that the people who specialize in these Color Revolution regime change operations overseas are, literally, the very same people attempting to overthrow Trump by using the very same playbook. Given that the most famous Color Revolution was the [2004] “Orange Revolution” in the Ukraine, and that Black Lives Matter is being used as a key component of the domestic Color Revolution against Trump, we can encapsulate our thesis at Revolver with the simple remark that “Black is the New Orange.”
This hardly should come as a surprise. The same government agencies and their corporate, NGO, and think tank cronies that are now weaponizing Black Lives Matter, Antifa, other Wokesters, and military putsch plotters here at home to remove Trump have turned regime change abroad into an art form. Ukraine was one of their signal successes, featuring a cast of characters later key to the failed “Ukrainegate” impeachment.

Another consequence of regime change: corruption. As the old saying goes, any idiot can turn an aquarium into fish soup, but no one has yet figured out how to reverse the process. Once a country gets broken it tends to stay broken, whether the “breaking” is accomplished by military means (Serbia 1999, Iraq 2003, Libya 2011) or by a color revolution from the streets (Serbia 2000, Georgia 2003, Ukraine 2004-2005 and again in 2014, Kyrgyzstan 2005, Lebanon 2005, Armenia 2018, plus many others of varying degrees of success, and failures in Iran, Russia, Venezuela, China (Hong Kong), and Belarus). With the target nation’s institutions in shambles, the dregs take over – in Libya, for example, even to the point of reintroducing trade in sub-Saharan African slaves, whose black lives evidently don’t matter to anyone at all.

Iraq: Crush, Corrupt, Cash In

Finally, once regime change occurs and corruption is rampant, another shoe drops: foreign vultures descend on the carcass, profiteers who in many cases are the very same people that helped to create the chaos on which they are cashing in. Invariably, these carpetbaggers are well-connected individuals in the aggressor states and organizations positioned on the inside track both for the carve-up of the target country’s resources and (the word “hypocrisy” doesn’t begin to describe it) for funds to implement “reform” and “reconstruction” of the devastated target.

The showcase of this scam, pursuant to Colin Powell’s reported “Pottery Barn Rule” (You break it, you own it) was the money ostensibly spent on rebuilding Iraq, despite assurances from the war’s advocates that it would pay for itself.

With the formal costs conservatively set at over $60 billion to $138 billion out of a tab for the war of over two trillion dollars, the lion’s share of it went to U.S. and other vendors, including the notorious $1.4 billion no-bid contract to Halliburton subsidiary KBR, of which then-Vice President Dick Cheney, a major proponent of the war, had been a top executive. (“Rand Paul Says Dick Cheney Pushed for the Iraq War So Halliburton Would Profit.”)

In Ukraine, Biden’s Son Also Rises
The predatory cronyism vignette most pertinent to the Black/Orange regime change op now unfolding before us with the intent of installing Joe Biden in the Oval Office is that of his son, Hunter, and a Ukrainian energy company with a sketchy reputation, Burisma Holdings. (Right at the outset, even some of Hunter’s associates though the gig with Burisma was too “toxic” and broke off ties with him.) Though ignored or dismissed as fake news and a conspiracy theory by Democrats and legacy media (or do I repeat myself?), the facts are well enough known and fit the Iraq pattern to a T: then-Vice President Joe Biden pushed for regime change in Ukraine, which succeeded in February 2014 with the ouster of the constitutionally elected president, Viktor Yanukovych. In April 2014, Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, was brought onto Burisma’s board (along with a fellow named Devon Archer, later convicted of unrelated fraud) at an exorbitant level of compensation that made little sense in light of Hunter’s nonexistent expertise in the energy business – but which made plenty of sense given that his dad was not only Veep but the Obama administration’s point man on policy toward Ukraine, including foreign assistance money. [NOTE: It now has come out that in 2015 Hunter put his dad, the U.S. Vice President, in direct contact with Burisma, news the giant tech firms sought to suppress on social media.]

When a troublesome Ukrainian prosecutor named Viktor Shokin seemed to be taking too much interest in Burisma, Papa Joe came to the rescue, openly threatening the western-dependent politicians installed after Ukraine’s 2014 color revolution with withholding of a billion dollars in U.S. aid until Shokin, whom Joe unironically alleged to be “corrupt,” got the heave-ho. As Tucker Carlson nails it, Shokin’s ouster followed a direct request from Burisma’s Clinton-connected PR firm, Blue Star Strategies, to Hunter to lobby his dad to get Shokin off their back. Joe did just what was asked. He later bragged: “I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here [i.e., Kiev] in, I think it was about six hours.’ I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.’ Well, son of a bitch. He got fired.”

But First There Was Serbia

Today many people remember Iraq, some have a clue about Ukraine. But Serbia, which preceded them, is off the radar screen of most Americans. To recap:

As a Senator in the 1990s, Joe Biden was one of the most militant advocates of U.S. military action against Serbs during the breakup of the Yugoslav federation, first in Croatia (1991-95), then in Bosnia (1992-95), and then in Serbia’s province of Kosovo (1998- 1999). (As has been said about others like Hillary Clinton and the late John McCain, Biden evidently has never met a war he didn’t like. Along with Hillary, in 2003 Biden helped to whip Senate Democrat votes for the Bush-Cheney Iraq war.) Channeling his inner John McCain, Biden continually called for the U.S. to bomb, bomb, bomb bomb the Serbs while (in a foreshadowing of the Obama-Biden administration’s support for jihad terrorists in Libya and Syria, which ultimately resulted in the appearance of ISIS) pushed successfully for sending weapons to the Islamist regime in Bosnia and then for the U.S. to arm the Islamo-narco-terrorist group known as the “Kosovo Liberation Army” (KLA).

Joe Biden was the primary sponsor of the March 1999 Kosovo war authorization for military action against Serbia and Montenegro, S. Con. Res. 21. (As a little remembered historical note, Biden’s resolution might be seen as the last nail in the coffin of Congress’s constitutional war power. While S. Con. Res 21 passed the Senate, it failed in the House on a 213-213 tie vote, with Republicans overwhelmingly voting Nay. It didn’t matter. Bill Clinton, reeling from the Lewinsky scandal, went ahead with the bombing campaign anyway.) The ensuing 78-day NATO air operation had little impact on Serbia’s military but devastated the country’s infrastructure and took hundreds of civilian lives. (Even now, more than 20 years later, Serbia suffers from elevated cancer levels attributed to depleted uranium munitions.) But for Jihad Joe even that wasn’t punishment enough for people he collectively demonized as “illiterate degenerates, baby killers, butchers, and rapists.” In May 1999, at the height of the NATO air assault, he called for the introduction of U.S. ground troops (“we should announce there’s going to be American casualties”) followed by “a Japanese-German style occupation.”

Eventually the bombing stopped in June 1999 when then-Serbian strongman Slobodan Milošević acceded to temporary international occupation of Kosovo on the condition that the province would remain part of Serbia, as codified in United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244. It was a promise the U.S. and NATO, not to mention their European Union (EU) concubine, had no intention of keeping. Under the nose of the NATO occupation, ostensibly demobilized KLA thugs were given virtually free rein to terrorize the Serbian population, two-thirds of whom were driven out along with Jews and Roma, the rest sheltering in enclaves where they remain to this day. Orthodox Christian churches and monasteries, many of them centuries old, were particular targets for destruction and desecration. KLA commanders – who were also kingpins in the Kosovo Albanian mafia dealing in sex slaves, drugs, weapons, and even human organs – were handed local administration.

In 2007 Senator Biden praised the new order as a “victory for Muslim democracy” and “a much-needed example of a successful U.S.-Muslim partnership.” A year later, the Bush administration sought to complete the job by ramming through Kosovo’s independence in barefaced violation of UNSCR 1244 and despite strong Russian objections. But instead of resolving anything the result was a frozen conflict that persists today, with about half of the United Nations’ member states recognizing Kosovo and half not. Touting itself as the most pro-American “country” [sic] in the world, the Kosovo pseudo-state became a prime recruiting ground for ISIS.

Part 1 of 2

On TB every waking moment
Part 2 of 2

But hey, business was good! Just as in Iraq, the politically well-connected, including former officials instrumental in the attack on Serbia and occupying Kosovo, flocked to the province fueled by lavish aid subsidies from the U.S. and the EU, which for a while made Kosovo one of the biggest per capita foreign assistance recipient “countries” in the world. One such vulture – sorry, entrepreneur – was former Secretary of State Madeleine we-think-a-half-million-dead-Iraqi-children-is-worth-it Albright, a prominent driver of the Clinton administration’s hostile policy on top of her personal Serb-hatred. Albright sought to cash in to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars on sale of the mobile telephone company PTK, originally a Yugoslav state-owned firm that was “privatized” (i.e., stolen) in 2005 as a joint stock company, but who later dropped her bid when it attracted unwanted publicity. Also in the hunt for Kosovo riches was former NATO Supreme Commander and operational chief of the Kosovo war General Wesley Clark, who reportedly cornered a major share of the occupied province’s coal resources under a sweetheart deal that seems to have vanished from public scrutiny since first reported in 2016.

At the moment there seems to be no smoking gun of a direct Biden family payout, à la Ukraine, but there is a possible trail via Hunter’s Burisma-buddy Devon Archer and Archer’s fellow-defendant John “Yanni” Galanis, who in turn is connected to top Kosovo Albanian politicians. In any case, the Biden clan seems to have paid a lot of attention to Kosovo for not having skin in the game. Joe’s late son and Delaware Attorney General, Beau, worked in Kosovo following the war to train local prosecutors as part of an OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe) “rule of law” mission (admittedly a big task in a mafia-run pseudo-state), for which a road was named after him near the massive U.S. base Camp Bondsteel. With Hunter on hand for the naming ceremony, Joe Biden took the opportunity to express his “condolences” to Serbian families who lost loved ones in the NATO air assault – of which he was a primary advocate.

A ‘Shokin’ Demand

Perhaps the best parallel between Biden’s handiwork in Ukraine and his interest in Kosovo also relates to getting rid of an inconvenient individual. But in this case, the person in question wasn’t a state official like Burisma prosecutor Viktor Shokin but a hierarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

In May 2009 Vice President Biden insisted on visiting one of Kosovo’s most venerable Serbian Orthodox Christian sites, the Visoki Dečani monastery. Ruling Bishop Artemije of the Eparchy of Raška and Prizren, which includes Kosovo and Metohija, refused to give his blessing for the visit, in effect telling Biden he was not welcome. Bishop Artemije long had been a bane of Biden and others advocating detachment of Kosovo from Serbia, starting with his first mission to Washington in 1997 as war clouds gathered. In 2004 Bishop Artemije sued the NATO powers in the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg following their inaction to protect his flock during an anti-Serbian rampage by Muslim Albanian militants in March of that year. Then, in March 2006, as preparations were underway for a “final solution” to the Kosovo issue, Bishop Artemije launched an intensive multinational lobbying and public relations effort (in which Yours Truly was the lead professional) to try to derail the U.S. policy to which Biden had devoted so much attention. While the Bishop’s campaign was unsuccessful in reversing U.S. policy it was instrumental in delaying it for over a year – to howls of outrage from Biden’s associates in Washington. Thus, for Biden, the monastery visit snub by Bishop Artemije was adding insult to injury.
The end for Bishop Artemije came a few months later, at the beginning of 2010 at the time of two visits to Kosovo by U.S. Admiral Mark P. Fitzgerald, then Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa, and Commander, Allied Joint Force Command (JFC) Naples, (who retired later that year, becoming, unsurprisingly, a consultant “with numerous defense and commercial maritime and aviation contractors”). At that time, an unconfirmed report indicated that a high NATO officer (whether Admiral Fitzgerald or someone else is not specified) stated in the course of one of his local meetings (this is verbatim or a close paraphrase): “What we need here is a more cooperative bishop.” (More details are available here. Since that posting last year the NATO command in Naples seems to have scrubbed the items about Fitzgerald’s 2010 visits from their site.)

Shortly afterwards, Biden’s troublesome priest was forcibly removed by police and exiled from his see, without ecclesiastical trial, by Church authorities in Belgrade under pressure from compliant Serbian politicians installed after the October 2000 color revolution, in turn pressured by NATO. The pretext?

Transparently baseless charges of financial wrongdoing. In other words, bogus accusations of “corruption” – like against Ukraine’s Shokin.

One could almost hear Joe Biden chortle: “Well, son of a bitch. He got fired.”
But Look at the Bright Side…

Back to the incipient coup facing the United States, there should be no illusion that what’s at stake in the unfolding scenario for the removal of Donald Trump is not just his presidency but the survival of the historic American ethnos of which he is seen as an avatar by both his supporters and detractors.
Remember, we’re dealing with predators and scavengers who are happy to burn the old, evil America down as long as they can achieve total power and continue to feather their cushy nests. Short of a blowout Trump victory by a margin too big to hijack, we’re headed for a dystopian state of affairs.

If they do manage to remove Trump, “by any means necessary,” and Joe Biden takes the helm, we can anticipate a bevy of globalist warmonger appointees that make Trump’s team look like disciples of Mahatma Gandhi. Among the names floated like Nicholas Burns, Antony Blinken, Michele Flournoy, Evelyn Farkas, and Anne-Marie Slaughter, all were on board with Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, Libya, Ukraine, Syria … [NOTE: The Atlantic Council, known as NATO’s semi-official think tank in Washington and which will be instrumental in staffing a future Joe Biden administration, also has been the beneficiary of generous donations from Hunter Biden’s paymaster, Burisma.]

It’s a recipe for wars, regime changes, and color revolutions galore.
But to finish on a positive note, the potential future business opportunities will be endless!

Schweizer: More Emails, Proof of Relationship Between Hunter Biden, Russian Oligarch Forthcoming

JEFF POOR17 Oct 20205,604

Friday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Breitbart News senior contributor and Government Accountability Institute President Peter Schweizer teased more evidence of a relationship between Hunter Biden and Devon Archer with Russian oligarch Elena Baturina.

View: https://youtu.be/drFUJ0Mv_0U
7:30 min

According to Schweizer, the relationship dealt with banking and financial services for Baturina, given her money “was seen as dirty.”
Partial transcript as follows:
HANNITY: All right. So, we can bifurcate for people. This is all separate from what The New York Post was reporting this week. This is separate from what we knew earlier, and it’s separate from Ron Johnson and Chuck Grassley’s report that they put out, 87 pages, which talked about, well, Russian oligarchs, Kazakh oligarchs, the $3.5 million payment with the former first lady of Moscow, Chinese nationals, $100,000 shopping spree, Russian nationals, Kazakhs nationals, Ukrainian nationals.
How much money are we talking about here, and were all three of them involved in all of these endeavors?

SCHWEIZER: Well, it kind of jumps around, but let me just make clear, these are all separate emails from The New York Post and what the Senate did, but they all reinforce the same.

I mean, to take, for example, Ms. Baturina, the Russian oligarch links to organized crime that the Senate sent $3.5 million based on Treasury Department documents, we will be rolling out a story in a couple of days demonstrating that their relationship, meaning Hunter and Devon Archer’s relationship with Elena Baturina goes way back and they were performing a number of banking and other financial services for her, services that they had trouble doing, by the way, because several banks did not want to work with her because the money was seen as dirty.

HANNITY: So, literally, these nationals were allowed access to Biden inside the White House according to these emails. I guess my next question is if both of Hunter’s business partners are convicted, how did he go scot-free?

SCHWEIZER: Well, that’s the question, Sean. There was a trial in 2016, and we actually, I’ve gone through the notes of that trial, and what it demonstrates is that Hunter Biden’s fingerprints are all over this. He has named repeatedly in the court trials, but he was never charged by the prosecutors in New York.

Bannon Speaks to Revolver News in Exclusive Interview on Hunter’s Hard Drive and What Comes Next

October 17, 2020 (7h ago)

2020.10.17-11.12-revolvernews-5f8b7a43d10ba-scaled-e1602976400485.jpeg

Last week the NY Post took the political world by storm with its release of shocking material from Hunter Biden’s hard drive indicating corruption, sexual depravity and more. The Post reported that a lawyer for former NY Mayor Rudy Giuliani obtained the hard drive from a computer repairman, and that former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon had alerted the Post to the existence of the hard drive in July.
But before turning over the gear, the shop owner says, he made a copy of the hard drive and later gave it to former Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello.

Steve Bannon, former adviser to President Trump, told The Post about the existence of the hard drive in late September and Giuliani provided The Post with a copy of it on Sunday. [NY Post]
Steve Bannon has since clarified to Revolver News that he was brought into the project based on familiarity with corruption in corporate America, on Wall Street, and within the Chinese Communist Party and America’s political class. Mr. Bannon revealed that he “worked up and executed the roll out plan” of the information contained in the Hunter hard drives. Given his close knowledge and familiarity with an issue of such explosive importance to the election, Revolver asked Mr. Bannon a few questions pertaining to the contents of Hunter’s hard drive and the political implications of their release.

Revolver: What is the most incriminating thing on the hard drive? Rudy has suggested illegal things, and as Revolver reported the FBI person tasked with the hard drive is associated with the child pornography division. Could you give more insight into how bad it is we’re talking about?

Mr. Bannon: Joe Biden is a liar, a fraud, and compromised by Chinese cash. In short, he is a national security crisis. The hard drive combines emails and text messages that show a massive involvement with companies controlled by the Chinese Communist Party. Also, there are 25,000 images that show a drug-addled, depraved lifestyle — one that decent hardworking Americans will not want near the White House.

Revolver: The FBI has been holding onto the hard drive for almost a year? Any sense of why? Was there any indication that they were seriously interested in criminal case, assuming that there is, in fact, illegal material on there? If not, why would the FBI simply hold onto information like that?

Mr. Bannon: The President must confront the director of the FBI on why the information housed on this hard drive was not moved on immediately. If the content of the hard drive had been released when received in November 2019, there would have been no impeachment of Trump, and Bernie Sanders would be the Democratic Party nominee. This confrontation should take place this weekend in the Oval Office. If Wray doesn’t have a bulletproof reason he should be fired in the room.

Revolver: What are your best estimates on how many foreign entities may have obtained possession of the hard drive? Chinese intel?

Mr. Bannon: It’s the actions represented on the hard drive that the American people must understand our enemies know about. The cash and equity given for access to Biden, the favors done for that cash, the drugs, the depravity. The CCP, Russian Intel, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Intel Services — they know the Bidens are for sale.

Revolver: Is there any reason to expect that the contents of the hard drive will be revealed before the election? If yes, will people actually care enough for it to substantially effect the outcome?

Mr. Bannon: The Bidens are about to be hit with multiple stories from multiple media sources based off evidence beyond the hard drive. Fox and Peter Schweitzer have already started but bigger more mainstream companies are going to weigh in. We already have set in motion the various apparatuses that will release everything.

Revolver: What are your thoughts on the efforts to discredit the hard drive as “Russian disinformation?” Is there any evidence this is Russian disinformation at all? At any rate, what matters is not whether Biden-supporting media calls it “disinformation” — what matters is whether it’s true. Has the Biden camp explicitly denied the factual accusations pertaining to the hard drives?

Mr. Bannon: Rupert Murdoch’s team at the NY Post is as sophisticated and tough as there is in all media. They had the metadata and they signed off to go forward. The Russia excuse — and it is an excuse — collapsed when Fox verified the information with someone on the email chain. The Biden campaign has yet to say these emails or photos are not real. The reason? Hunter’s lawyer sent emails trying to recover the hard drive. These are real — the Bidens know they are real — and they are going to have to deal with that reality.

The Truth About Hunter Biden’s China Entanglements Is Even More Sinister Than Previously Thought

September 29, 2020 (3w ago)

2020.09.29-11.28-revolvernews-5f731a61ac66d.jpeg

A report revealing that Hunter Biden received a 3.5 million dollar wire transfer from a politically connected Russian billionaire has managed to overshadow his extensively documented financial entanglements with China. Revolver News has obtained access to a carefully researched report offering important and disturbing information about Hunter’s business dealings and relationships in China, and we believe that these deserve renewed focus, particularly in light of a potentially compromising situation that has come to our attention.

The report is the result of months of work by a group called “Typhoon Investigations,” which styles itself as an “activist research firm protecting companies from foreign influence and threats.” While Revolver News cannot confirm the accuracy of every item in the report, we have been in contact with individuals involved in the creation of the report and can confirm the subject matter expertise. We note that much of the information represented in the report can be publicly verified.

The major findings of the report suggest that the sole reason the Hunter Biden would have been allowed a stake in the Chinese state backed private equity firm BHR is for the purpose of political influence via his father:
There is no apparent reason for HUNTER’s participation in the BHR partnership other than political payoff and influence. Virtually all financial investors or partners are state policy entities, state owned entities, or only nominally private. The investments flow primarily to Chinese state backed projects or firms. The financial terms, where we have been able to locate specific deal terms, engage in non-normal business practices designed to funnel fees and assets to benefit a specific party.

There is clear intent by Chinese state officials acting to influence US individuals either in official positions or with close relationships to them. This facilitated use of Chinese state offices and officials to meet HUNTER and arrange for public money via the social security, local state-owned enterprises, and policy bank to fund the investment partnership. Though the investment partnership was not official until late 2013, the key relationships and visits with companies and individuals who would become investors and partners began significantly earlier.

China invests large amounts of financial and political capital in influencing foreign individuals and institutions. Given the personal connection with senior individuals within the Chinese government, there is absolutely no chance this investment partnership was undertaken as a normal market transaction or that political influence by Chinese was ignored. Notably, key individuals have strong links to Chinese influence organizations.
BHR is a state managed operation. Leading shareholder Bohai is a Bank of China subsidiary, and BHR’s partners are Chinese State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) that funnel revenue/assets to BHR. [Typhoon]
The report also draws attention to the specific role of Taiwanese national Michael Lin in facilitating Hunter’s involvement in the BHR private equity firm. The report documents the relationship between Lin and Hunter, and suggests that Lin is likely a Chinese asset. Revolver spoke with individuals familiar with Lin’s activities who have reaffirmed the report’s suggestion that Lin is a Chinese asset. One source familiar with the report told Revolver that two separate intelligence agencies (one US and one non US) have confirmed Lin is “on their radar” regarding his activities in China.
Michael Lin brokered the BHR partnership and partners with MOFA foreign influence organizations.
LIN is a POI for his work on behalf of China, as confirmed by SOURCE B and SOURCE C (at two separate national intelligence agencies). [Typhoon]
Lastly, the report makes the case that Yang Jiechi, current head of CCP foreign affairs division, oversaw and signed off on Hunter’s business dealings, particularly pertaining to the BHR state owned private equity firm in which, according to the report, Hunter continues to hold a 10 percent stake worth approximately 50 million USD. If true, this is particularly disturbing, as Yang Jiechi remains in a high level post in China as head of CCP foreign affairs. Yang may have some degree of leverage over a future President Biden due to his extensive history with the Bidens and especially his knowledge and approval of Hunter’s business dealings.
Joe Biden’s compromising partnership with the Communist Party of China runs via Yang Jiechi (CPC’s Central Foreign Affairs Commission). YANG met with BIDEN during his tenure at the Chinese embassy in Washington.
Hunter Biden’s 2013 Bohai Harvest Rosemont investment partnership was set-up by Ministry of Foreign Affairs institutions designed to garner influence with foreign leaders during YANG’s tenure as Foreign Minister. [Typhoon]
Revolver wanted to bring this report to the attention of the broader public in time for this evening’s debate. We will continue to look through the report and relay the findings in follow-up pieces as appropriate, and we are in regular contact with those involved in its production. In short, this report at the very least justifies renewed scrutiny of Hunter’s shady business dealings in China and the potential conflicts of interest arising therein, particularly should his father become President. The findings in this report therefore largely vindicate the focus of President Trump’s earlier remarks regarding Hunter’s business dealings.

Emails show Hunter Biden pursuing 'lucrative' deal with Chinese energy company that would be 'interesting to my family': Report
New allegations emerge against Joe Biden's son

Kris Connor/WireImage
PAUL SACCA

Following Wednesday's release of "smoking gun" emails from a laptop computer that contained photos of Hunter Biden and emails purporting to belong to him, the New York Post released more emails allegedly from Joe Biden's son. The latest batch of emails purportedly show Hunter pursuing "lasting and lucrative" deals involving a Chinese energy company that he said would be "interesting for me and my family."

According to the reported emails from 2017, the son of the Democratic presidential nominee communicated with high-ranking officials from China Energy Fund Committee, which at one time was the largest private energy company in China. In 2017, Fortune noted that CEFC had nearly $44 billion in revenue.

Ye Jianming is the former chairman of China Energy Fund Committee. Ye is rumored to have ties to China's People's Liberation Army, and a 2018 Financial Times report links him to Chinese military intelligence.
"Ye's company, CEFC China Energy, aligned itself so closely with the Chinese government that it was often hard to distinguish between the two," CNN wrote in 2018.

Hunter Biden was reportedly a recipient of an email sent on May 13, 2017, with the subject line: "Expectations." The email, which was written by James Gilliar of the international consulting firm J2cR, details "remuneration packages" for six people in a business venture.

Hunter Biden was identified as "Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC (China Energy Co)." His pay was "850" and the email noted: "Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate."

"In addition, the email outlined a 'provisional agreement' under which 80 percent of the 'equity,' or shares in the new company, would be split equally among four people whose initials correspond to the sender and three recipients, with 'H' apparently referring to Biden," the Post reported.

The deal listed "10 Jim" and "10 held by H for the big guy?" Neither "Jim" nor "big guy" were identified.

Gilliar wrote, "I am happy to raise any detail with Zang if there is [sic] shortfalls ?"
"Zang" is an apparent reference to Zang Jian Jun, the former executive director of CEFC China, according to the Post.

Alleged emails from Hunter on Aug. 2, 2017, show him discussing a three-year consulting contract worth $10 million annually "for introductions alone."
"The chairman changed that deal after we me[t] in MIAMI TO A MUCH MORE LASTING AND LUCRATIVE ARRANGEMENT to create a holding company 50% percent [sic] owned by ME and 50% owned by him," Biden wrote, according to the email. "Consulting fees is one piece of our income stream but the reason this proposal by the chairman was so much more interesting to me and my family is that we would also be partners inn [sic] the equity and profits of the JV's [joint venture's] investments."

Biden's alleged email was sent to Gongwen Dong, whom the Wall Street Journal wrote about in October 2018, in regard to the purchase of two luxury Manhattan apartments that "show no financing on either deal."

"Companies linked to Ye Jianming, a Chinese oil entrepreneur with ties to China's military, spent roughly $83 million on New York City's priciest properties," the Journal reported. "Both of the transactions were executed in the names of limited liability companies that are registered at a Long Island home of Asian financier Gongwen Dong. Mr. Ye's name doesn't appear on the business registration document, but the people familiar with the transactions describe him as controlling the companies. Mr. Dong couldn't be reached for comment."

Ye reportedly planned to buy $80 million more in New York City real estate, but the former chairman mysteriously disappeared in early 2018, when he was reportedly taken into custody by Chinese authorities.

CEFC China Energy Co. and three of its subsidiaries went bankrupt in April 2020.
The New York Post also obtained an "Attorney Engagement Letter" between Hunter and one of Ye's "top lieutenants." Former Hong Kong government official Chi Ping Patrick Ho became the deputy chairman and secretary general of China Energy Fund Committee.

In September 2017, Ho reportedly agreed to pay Biden a $1 million retainer for "Counsel to matters related to US law and advice pertaining to the hiring and legal analysis of any US Law Firm or Lawyer."

In March 2019, the Department of Justice announced that Ho was sentenced to serve 36 months in prison for "his role in a multi-year, multimillion-dollar scheme to bribe top officials of Chad and Uganda in exchange for business advantages for CEFC China Energy Company Limited ('CEFC China')."

In December 2019, Ho was convicted of violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, money-laundering, and conspiracy to commit the same. Ho reportedly bribed high-ranking government officials in Africa for oil rights in Chad and lucrative business deals in Uganda.

"Patrick Ho bribed officials at the highest levels of government in Chad and Uganda in pursuit of lucrative oil deals and other business opportunities, all while using a U.S.-based NGO to conceal his criminal scheme," Assistant Attorney General Benczkowski said. "This kind of corruption undermines world markets and tilts the playing field against law-abiding companies and individuals. The Department will continue to investigate and prosecute individuals and corporations that engage in foreign bribery."

"Patrick Ho schemed to bribe the leaders of Chad and Uganda in order to secure unfair business advantages for the Chinese energy company he served," said Manhattan U.S. Attorney Berman. "His actions were brazen, including offering the president of Chad $2 million in cash, hidden in gift boxes. Foreign corruption undermines the fairness of international markets, erodes the public's faith in its leaders, and is deeply unfair to the people and businesses that play by the rules. Today's sentence recognizes the severe harm caused by Ho's actions."

Ho served a three-year prison sentence and was deported to Hong Kong in June.
Also from the laptop, there is allegedly a photo that is dated Aug. 1, 2017. The image shows a handwritten flowchart of the ownership of a business named "Hudson West." The image shows a 50/50 split between two entities controlled by Hunter Biden and someone identified as "Chairman."

Hudson West was cited in a report released last month by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) titled "Hunter Biden, Burisma, and Corruption: The Impact on U.S. Government Policy and Related Concerns."
"On the same day that the impending Rosneft deal was announced, Hunter Biden and Gongwen Dong, a Chinese national who has reportedly executed transactions for limited liability companies controlled by Ye Jianming, applied to a bank and opened a line of credit under the business name Hudson West III LLC (Hudson West III)," the report stated.

"Hunter Biden, James Biden, and James Biden's wife, Sara Biden, were all authorized users of credit cards associated with the account," the report continued. "The Bidens subsequently used the credit cards they opened to purchase $101,291.46 worth of extravagant items, including airline tickets and multiple items at Apple Inc. stores, pharmacies, hotels and restaurants. The cards were collateralized by transferring $99,000 from a Hudson West III account to a separate account, where the funds were held until the cards were closed. The transaction was identified for potential financial criminal activity."

The report states that Hudson West III changed ownership at some point and was "divided between Hunter Biden's law firm Owasco PC (50%) and Coldharbour Capital LLC (50%)."

"Although ownership in Coldharbour Capital is equally divided between two individuals, Mervyn Yan and Tian Zhang, it has a business address identified as the address of Gongwen Dong."

Hudson West has since been dissolved.

The emails and documents were reportedly found on a MacBook Pro laptop that was dropped off at a computer repair shop in Delaware in April 2019 and never picked up. The contents of the laptop were released by the New York Post and Rudy Giuliani.

Emails released on Wednesday allege that Joe Biden met with a top executive at Burisma, the Ukrainian natural gas company, when he was vice president and during his son Hunter Biden's tenure on the company's board.

George Mesires, Hunter Biden's lawyer, previously told the Post, "There is no need for comment on any so-called information provided by Rudy Giuliani."
Twitter locked the official account of the New York Post on Wednesday for the publication of the bombshell report on Hunter Biden. Facebook suppressed the distribution of the Post's article on Wednesday.

You know, hearing Democrats talk about Russian collusion is like two idiots discuss finding a dead body. First guy says definitely he was killed by a werewolf, second says there is no such thing as a werewolf and don’t be ridiculous, this has all the handiwork of Dracula.
Heard something like this today, MSM/DEMOS are such Maroons... :kaid:

I wish this had all come out before early voting began - perhaps it could have stopped some of the Dems who already voted from voting for him. Waiting till this late in the game is high risk, isn't it?

If he does manage to get elected it provides another good reason for removal from office, but then we're right back to being stuck with Harris...

SMH -- I don't understand waiting till the last days before the election, but I hope to heck it manages to convince some Dem voters to not vote!

McCarthy: Biden ‘Has to’ Answer Questions on what He Knew about Hunter Before People Vote
4,593

IAN HANCHETT17 Oct 2020926

On Saturday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said 2020 Democratic presidential nominee former Vice President Joe Biden cannot avoid answering questions about what he knew about the business activities of his son, Hunter, “and this question has to be answered before voters should be able to vote.”

McCarthy said, “Well, it’s obvious that Hunter Biden made money off using his family name. What I don’t understand is why Joe Biden is not answering the question of how much he knew about this family business. Remember, six years ago, when he was vice president, he took his son, Hunter Biden, to China. What did they talk about on that plane? Ten days after that trip, the Chinese company got their license that created the fund that Hunter Biden was a part of. So, these are questions, if you’re going to run for the leader of the free world, you need to answer. You were vice president of the United States, your son was making money off you…Ukraine, you got somebody fired going after the company that your son was on the board for, and now, there are emails saying that you should be paid by this? You cannot avoid this question and this question has to be answered before voters should be able to vote.”

Steve Bannon Behind 'Roll-Out Plan' For Hunter Biden Emails, Says 'Multiple Stories From Multiple Media Sources' About To Hit

Sun, 10/18/2020 - 17:00
In a recent interview with Revolver, former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon admitted that he's the architect of a coordinated roll-out of the Hunter Biden laptop contents, and that there's much, much more to come.

To review, last month the New York Post set off a nuclear bomb when they released evidence from the younger Biden's hard drive obtained by Rudy Giuliani, after a computer repair shop owner initially approached the FBI, which appears to have concealed evidence of Biden family corruption in Ukraine and elsewhere while President Trump was being impeached for asking Ukraine to investigate exactly that.

And Steve Bannon is master of ceremonies for this October surprise.

As former Breitbart journalist Lee Stranahan - who's not exactly Bannon's biggest fan - puts it, "I can't think of a single example of him saying he had the goods on the story that didn't pan out," adding "If he says a lot more is coming he's not shooting blanks."

Interview with Steve Bannon via Revolver.com (emphasis ours)

Last week the NY Post took the political world by storm with its release of shocking material from Hunter Biden’s hard drive indicating corruption, sexual depravity, and more. The Post reported that a lawyer for former NY Mayor Rudy Giuliani obtained the hard drive from a computer repairman and that former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon had alerted the Post to the existence of the hard drive in July.

Rudy has suggested illegal things, and as Revolver reported, the FBI person tasked with the hard drive is associated with the child pornography division. Could you give more insight into how bad it is we’re talking about?

This confrontation should take place this weekend in the Oval Office. If Wray doesn’t have a bulletproof reason he should be fired in the room.

Revolver: What are your best estimates on how many foreign entities may have obtained possession of the hard drive? Chinese intel?

Mr. Bannon: It’s the actions represented on the hard drive that the American people must understand our enemies know about. The cash and equity given for access to Biden, the favors done for that cash, the drugs, the depravity.

Boom! Nunes Drops the Bomb that Shatters the Entire Russian Hoax, “There are prostitutes and Russia money- It is with the Biden family” Pee Tapes cited
by Kari Donovan

Democrats and their media allies, who cover up information the American people need to hear, have assisted in a clear cut case of helping the Biden Family project their criminal acts unto other people, and the entire Russian Hoax meant to frame President Donald J. Trump and his administration and associates may have actually happened, with the Biden family and their administration and associates, according to Rep. Devin Nunes.

“It ends up that the story that ended up in the Clinton Dossier that the fed to the FBI was true except it was a fantasy-based off of the Biden Family. So there are prostitutes there is Moscow money, I don’t know if there are Pee Tapes or not but it involves the Bidens and they have a whole of explaining to do before the American people before they go to vote in this next election, ” Nunes said Sunday on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo.

“Adam Schiff is telling the press that is is all Russian disinformation, Bartiromo said. “And you would say?” she asked Nunes.

A little background first: Remember the story about Trump as a candidate visiting Russia and staying at the Ritz Carlton, renting the “Presidential Suite”, hiring prostitutes and paying them to urinate on him, in a bed stayed on by former President Barack Obama is a massive conspiracy by the left, and a powerful one that is the basis for the “Resistance movement” for hundreds of thousands of posts and stories claiming that Trump is connected to Russia, and also the basis for legal action against Trump by way of FISA warrants to spy on him and his associates and administration.

SO this exchange is very important:

“Well I would say, go back the last four years and the genius who said he had more than circumstantial evidence of that the Trump campaign was colluding with Russia. We now know and we now have evidence that actually the Democrats, the Democrat National Committee and the Clinton campaign who were colluding with Russia. And if fact there are actually some similarities, Maria, if you remember that we had the whole media in DC was all over Europe looking for Moscow prostitutes and money that was moved from Moscow or Ukraine into the Trump campaign or to the Trump orbit. We looked for that for the last four years. And it ends up that the story that ended up in the Clinton Dossier that the fed to the FBI was true except it was a fantasy-based off of the Biden Family. So there are prostitutes there is Moscow money, I don’t know if there are Pee Tapes or not but it involves the Bidens and they have a whole of explaining to do before the American people before they go to vote in this next election, ” Nunes said.

“They accused you of going to Ukraine to get dirt on Joe Biden, and you were not in Ukraine, That story is still out there, that I went to meet people, but I didn’t. I should have gone,” Nunes said, “Those are the people who really did have dirt on Biden.”

Um. Wow!

I don't particularly like Bannon. I'm not that fond of Guiliani - he at least is motivated correctly. But Bannon is a sleeze who would do ANYTHING in political expediency.

But, play in a court with other sleezes - you have to be equal to the competition.

And - for a greater good - you tolerate whom you must.

I kind of feel that way about Trump too.

Hunter Biden's business partner reveals how they sold access to then VP Joe Biden
Libby Emmons

Libby EmmonsBrooklyn, NY

October 16, 2020 5:19 PM

Hunter Biden's former business partner Bevan Cooney has reportedly flipped. He had been in prison for a bond scheme, and is now talking to journalists about what he knows about Hunter, Joe, and the alleged Biden family corruption scheme involving foreign business agents.

In an exclusive report, Breitbart revealed that Hunter Biden, and his associates, used Biden's top Obama administration connections to make connections and "arrange private meetings for potential foreign clients at the highest levels in the White House." The emails shows that Chinese investors and CCP officials "managed to secure a private, off-the-books meeting with then Vice President Joe Biden."

This information was gleaned from correspondence given to Peter Schweizer of Breitbart by Cooney, who had been involved in business dealings with both Hunter Biden and Devon Archer.

Correspondence from 2011, not part of the New York Post series, reveals colleagues of Hunter Biden's planning to create relationships with "China Inc." These new relationships were to be part of a "new push on soft diplomacy for the Chinese."

Cooney provided his email address and passwords to Schweizer, and authorized him to access the emails in question. What makes this so groundbreaking is that this "is the first time a close associate has publicly confirmed Hunter's trading on his father's influence." That is at the heart of the New York Post articles, as well. Despite this is all coming out, the Biden campaign has not addressed the matter.

In 2011, Archer was offered access to new clients if he gave White House access to Chinese officials and businessmen. The meeting was arranged, and the officials "enjoyed high-level access." His ensuing email correspondence shows that he was in contact with Hunter Biden to make this all happen.

The Chinese visitors comprised a delegation of about 30 people, and this is backed up with official White House logs. While a meeting with Vice President Biden isn't noted on those official logs, Schweizer was able to backtrack through the written bio of China Entrepreneur Club Secretary General Maggie Cheng, who said that she facilitated meetings between the CEC delegation in 2011, in Washington, and went on to talk about those White House officials they met with, including Joe Biden.

The correspondence is continuing to emerge, and this undoubtedly is not the last bombshell for the Biden family, or the Biden/Harris campaign.

Biden Surrogate on Hunter Emails: ‘I Don’t Think Anybody Is Saying They Are Inauthentic or Not’

PAM KEY18 Oct 2020756

Biden campaign surrogate Jenna Arnold said Sunday on Fox News Chanel’s “America’s News HQ” that no one from the campaign has addressed the authenticity of emails allegedly from Hunter Biden linking his father, former Vice President Joe Biden, to his Ukraine business dealings.

Anchor Leland Vittert said, “What is interesting, you still have not answered the fundamental question, which is can anyone say that these emails are inauthentic and so far, I’ve not heard anybody say that.”

Arnold said, “Yeah, I think that is fair. I don’t think anybody is saying they are inauthentic or not.”

SCHOW: The Blatant Double Standards On Display Regarding The Hunter Biden-Email Story
By Ashe Schow

A news story that likely would have been ignored by the mainstream media and quickly disappeared from conversations became a flashpoint this week when social media companies rushed to censor it on their platforms.

The story appeared damaging to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. The story, published by the New York Post, included emails showing Biden’s son Hunter allegedly introducing his father, who was at that time Vice President, to a Ukrainian energy executive where Hunter worked – a year before Biden demanded Ukraine fire the country’s top prosecutor who was looking into the company.

Facebook spokesman Andy Stone admitted that the social media platform would censor the content until it could be fact checked – acknowledging this is routinely done for certain stories.

“While I will intentionally not link to the New York Post, I want be clear that this story is eligible to be fact checked by Facebook’s third-party fact checking partners. In the meantime, we are reducing its distribution on our platform,” Stone said on Twitter. “This is part of our standard process to reduce the spread of misinformation. We temporarily reduce distribution pending fact-checker review.”

Twitter soon followed suit, disabling “potentially harmful” links to the Post story and locking the accounts of anyone who posted it, including the White House press secretary and Trump’s campaign account. It even added a label to a government website. Twitter went further than Facebook, however, when it tried to explain why it had blocked the Post link. This is where blatant double standards came into play. Twitter claimed the Post story violated its Hacked Materials Policy, even though it doesn’t appear as though the emails and photos in the Post story were hacked. Rather, it appears they were discovered on the hard drive of a computer left at a repair shop.

Further, Twitter claimed in an official tweet that its policy “prohibits the use of our service to distribute content obtained without authorization,” claiming the platform doesn’t “want to incentivize hacking by allowing Twitter to be used as distribution for possibly illegally obtained materials.”

Astute readers may recognize that just a few weeks ago, The New York Times illegally obtained President Donald Trump’s tax returns and published a report on them. Twitter did not block links to the article nor did it temporarily ban accounts that distributed the link. The Times may have avoided this by not publishing the documents it obtained, but based on Twitter’s history of bias against conservatives, it seems impossible that the link would have been blocked even if the Times did publish the materials.

As I reported at the time, the Times acknowledged that it received the tax records from sources authorized to view them, but those sources were not authorized to leak them. Doing so is illegal.

The label appended to the GOP’s House Judiciary website – a .gov address – provided four bullet points as to why the link contained a warning. The first three make it appear as though clicking the link would have caused actual harm to users, while the fourth bullet – the one in which the link actually fell – was incredibly vague. The warning claims the link could have been blocked for being “malicious links that could steal personal information or harm electronic devices,” “spammy links that mislead people or disrupt their experience,” or “violent or misleading content that could lead to real-world harm.” The actual category the link fell under said: “certain categories of content that, if posted directly on Twitter, are a violation of the Twitter Rules.”

Twitter later said the censorship of the House GOP website was done “in error,” the same excuse they use whenever right-leaning content is censored. It should be noted that these “errors” always seem to go one way.

When it comes to Twitter’s claims that the information in the Post story was hacked, even the Biden campaign didn’t make such an allegation. The campaign at first claimed Biden’s official schedule showed no nefarious meetings with his son’s employer, but the campaign later admitted that Biden may have had an “informal interaction” with the energy executive.

Media outlets such as Business Insider attempted to discredit the story, claiming it contained “holes and red flags.” This may be the case, but such “holes and red flags” never caused this level of censorship with anti-Trump stories.

Business Insider takes time to denounce how the emails in the Post story were obtained, quoting a professor at Johns Hopkins University claiming that the story behind how the emails were obtained included “highly suspicious behavior.”

“Creative, anonymous, credibility-generating, somewhat plausible. Exactly how a professional would surface disinformation and potentially forgeries,” the professor said.

This is also exactly how true information might be unearthed.
The Daily Beast claimed the laptop repair shop owner kept changing his story, but all the claims that allegedly contradicted each other could have happened simultaneously.

“At one point, Mac Isaac claimed that he was emailing someone from the FBI about the laptop,” The Daily Beast said. “At another point he claimed a special agent from the Baltimore office had contacted him after he alerted the FBI to the device’s existence. At another point, he said the FBI reached out to him for ‘help accessing his drive,'” the Beast reported.

None of these claims are contradictory, unless the Beast simply failed to properly word what the owner said. He alerted the FBI to the computer’s existence, which could have led to an agent from the Baltimore officer reaching out, which may result in emails about the laptop. At some point during these emails, the FBI could have asked for help to access the hard drive.

Critics of the Post story also pointed to Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon’s role in releasing the emails, yet similar Democrat connections never stopped the media from spreading misinformation before. For the first two years of the Trump administration, major media outlets breathlessly repeated claims from Democratic operatives about “bombshells” linking the 2016 Trump campaign to Russia, yet a multi-million-dollar government investigation found no such collusion.

The basis of those claims came from a man hired by a firm hired by The Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, yet the questionable connections didn’t stop reporting that turned out to be false. Facebook and Twitter never censored wildly false stories about Trump colluding with Russia to steal the 2016 election.

It should be noted that since all of this took place, a person on the email chain linked to the Post story confirmed to Fox News that the emails were authentic.
Those trying to discredit the Post story have claimed, without evidence, that Russia is behind the information about Hunter Biden. It is the standard response at this point to anything that may be damaging to Democrats.

Okay, maybe the social media giants realized after the Hunter Biden story that they need to clamp down on information connected to people with clear agendas. Yet on Thursday, days after the Post story was published, the media was back to circulating a leaked phone call of Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) criticizing Trump in a private phone call. Suddenly, information obtained without authorization was perfectly alright to distribute again.

These double standards are simply another attempt to keep Biden from having to answer very real questions about his involvement with his son’s employer in Ukraine. Recall that Biden bragged about getting the top Ukrainian prosecutor fired – a prosecutor that just so happened to be looking into Hunter Biden’s company. Many have noted that the prosecutor was seen as corrupt, but what business was it of the U.S. to withhold aid from a country unless they fired a particular prosecutor?

Even without Biden’s brag about getting the prosecutor fired or the photo of him and his son playing golf with one of his business partners involved in the Ukraine deal, the Post story would have been enough to open an FBI investigation into the Trump campaign had this story been about Eric Trump or Donald Trump Jr. Recall that the FBI launched a sweeping probe into Trump associates based on alleged drunken statements by low-level campaign official George Papadopoulos allegedly seeking “dirt” on Hillary Clinton.

The media would have eaten up such a story, as would the social media giants, because these people consider anonymous sources “familiar with the matter” more credible than actual photographic evidence.

Exclusive — Peter Schweizer: Hunter Biden’s Flipped Business Partner Provided 26,000 Emails

MATTHEW BOYLE18 Oct 2020Washington, DC9,534

The business partner of Hunter Biden who flipped on the Biden family from prison provided access to 26,000 emails, Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer said in a Saturday morning radio appearance.

Schweizer, appearing on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel, said that former Hunter Biden business partner Bevan Cooney provided 26,000 emails to him—the first of which were published late last week in a Breitbart News exclusive investigation by Schweizer and author Seamus Bruner.

Cooney is currently serving a sentence in federal prison due to his conviction over financial deals he made connected to Hunter Biden and his other partner Devon Archer. Archer, who was also convicted by a jury in federal court, saw his conviction vacated by a federal judge. That conviction was later—just a couple weeks ago—reinstated by an appellate court, which overruled the lower court judge’s decision to vacate it. Archer awaits sentencing.

In the meantime, however, Cooney—who is serving his sentence in federal prison—reached out to Schweizer via conservative journalist Matthew Tyrmand and provided written authorization to access his Gmail account. He provided the password and username, and written authorization to publish emails because Schweizer says he believes he was the “fall guy” for the Biden family’s corruption and that he believes the public needs to know what really happened in Hunter Biden’s universe. The first article on these emails was published Friday afternoon, and detailed how Hunter Biden and his partners secured meetings with senior White House officials in November 2011 for Chinese Communist elites—including, as the Chinese elites who were present revealed, a secret meeting with then-Vice President Joe Biden himself. The Biden campaign has not responded to requests for comment about this from Breitbart News.

“Bevan Cooney was business partners with Hunter Biden and Devon Archer,” Schweizer said on Breitbart News Saturday. “He was a nightclub owner—he owns the Viper Room in Los Angeles, and got involved in these financial deals. He ended up going to jail and really feels that he was the fall guy. Devon Archer is now going to be going to jail as well, because of the same deals, but he [Cooney] really feels like Hunter Biden was able to walk off scot-free. He had reached out to me in 2019 after my book Secret Empires came out in 2018. He talked about sharing his emails, but it never happened. He ended up going to jail. He recently reached out through Matt Tyrmand, a journalist, and said I want to give you access to all of my emails in my Gmail account. He gave us written approval to do that, and gave us the password. We have been going through the 26,000 emails. The article that we ran on Breitbart, about China, Inc., is the first of what are going to be several. In this particular story what we lay out is how Hunter Biden and his business partners set up a meeting for this group called the China Entrepreneurs Club. Don’t let that benign name fool you; this is regarded as joined at the hip with the Chinese communist government. This China Entrepreneurs Club wanted meeting at the highest levels of the White House and Hunter Biden arranged them. What’s very curious about this is not only that they got these meetings on November 14, 2011, but they actually, according to members, had a private, secret meeting with Joe Biden himself. We don’t know about this because it appeared on the White House visitors logs or the White House calendar—it doesn’t. We know about it because the Chinese that were on that trip bragged about it in their blog posts back in China that they had this private, secret meeting with Joe Biden. Out of that sprang relationships and business deals that Hunter Biden and his business partners were apparently able to take advantage of, so it demonstrates how this access, with the participation of Joe Biden, translated into commercial deals down the road.”

Schweizer said this first round of emails published late last week—only a handful of the 26,000 obtained—is just the beginning. There are more, he said, including ones that further illustrate the relationship between Hunter Biden and the ex-wife of the former Moscow mayor Yelene Baturina—a payment from her to Hunter Biden was a major revelation in a recent U.S. Senate report on the Biden family corruption—as well as a clearer, more vivid description of just how the Bidens worked to develop a system to use Joe Biden’s position in government to enrich themselves.

“The emails, there are different types of emails,” Schweizer said. “Many of the emails are the business partners discussing, without Hunter’s participation, what Hunter’s role is in all of this. What’s very clear, and we will have reporting on this at Breitbart, what’s very clear is Hunter brings no money to the table. But he is considered the avenue to the administration. There are emails that talk about how they are going to do business deals where they want to get union pension money and that Hunter is going to leverage the relationships that his dad has with public employee unions to get that money. So part of it is just kind of a feel for what is the Biden business model, and we kind of knew this in a way but here it’s very explicit that it is trading off the Biden name, the Biden connections, and the Biden access. The other way I would categorize this is geographical. The one we have already broke was a story related to China. There are other emails involving China. The private equity deal—the billion and a half dollar private equity deal—that we’ve reported on. There are emails concerning that, which we will bring out which are quite interesting. There are ones that pertain to Yelena Baturina, she’s the Moscow mayor’s ex-wife who we should add the U.S. State Department has implicated as being tied with Russian organized crime. We’re going to be able to show that that relationship is much deeper and much longer than previously known and that Hunter Biden and his business partners performed various services for her in terms of deals in the United States. And then there are other geographical areas covered. There are deals involving Kazakhstan. There are deals in other parts of the world. There are references to Hunter Biden’s dealings in the Middle East. So there’s quite a bit of material there—26,000 emails, some of them obviously are personal. We’re not going to disclose anything that is personal. It’s all going to be business-related, but we’ll be rolling it out in the days ahead.”

That “underbelly” of how the Biden family—Schweizer calls them the “Biden Five,” whereas President Donald Trump calls them the “Biden Crime Family”—operates is further exposed in these emails from Hunter Biden’s flipped former partner Bevan Cooney.

“What you’re really seeing in these emails is the underbelly of how these relationships and corrupt deals happen,” Schweizer said. “There’s no question about that, and that’s one of the things I think people are going to get. They’re going to get an inside look because as we are doing—we did on the first story and we’ll do it on all of them, we’re not just going to be reporting on the emails.

We’re actually going to place the emails up so people can read them themselves.

To your point, to underline your point, yes these are totally separate from the New York Post emails. I don’t have access and have not had access to those emails and what we are dealing with in our case is—you’re exactly 100 percent right. These are not printouts, these are not PDFs—we actually go into the Gmail account and pull the emails out and download them. They are timestamped. These are real. These are genuine. That’s one of the reasons we felt it was so important to pursue this. Cooney is taking a risk because he’s trusting us with this trove of emails which includes personal information. So he’s taking quite a risk in sharing this information but he feels like it needs to get out because people need to understand how these deals were done.”

If the Emails Mean What We Think They Mean, a Biden Presidency Would Be an Existential Threat to U.S. National Security
by Elizabeth VaughnPosted: October 18, 2020

If the Emails Mean What We Think They Mean, a Biden Presidency Would Be an Existential Threat to U.S. National Security

For the Bidens, it’s a family affair.

A while back, historian Victor Davis Hanson referred to Hunter Biden as former Vice President Joe Biden’s wastrel son. I remember having to look up the definition of the word “wastrel” which means “a wasteful or good-for-nothing person.”

He is that, but emails found on Hunter Biden’s laptop point to a more frightening possibility. Was it part of the Biden family plan for Hunter, flying under the radar, to quietly profit from his father’s powerful positions in government, keep a generous amount for himself and then “take care of” his family?

The arrangement worked well for a very long time. Ultimately, however, their willingness to engage in increasingly larger and more conspicuous ventures, in addition to years of Hunter’s drug and alcohol abuse, made them sloppy.
Real Clear Investigations’ Paul Sperry examined the progression of Hunter Biden’s career and found that, since his college graduation, each position “came courtesy of the former six-term senator’s donors, lobbyists and allies.” For example:
One document reviewed by RCI reveals that a Biden associate admitted “finding employment” for Hunter Biden specifically as a special favor to his father, then a Senate leader running for president. He secured a $1.2 million gig on Wall Street for his young son, even though it was understood he had no experience in high finance. Many of his generous patrons, in turn, ended up with legislation and policies favorable to their businesses or investments, an RCI review of lobbying records and legislative actions taken by the elder Biden confirms.
Sperry’s report can be read in full here.

All of this is legal. However, as time went on, the Bidens continued to push their boundaries.

Many of us were shocked by Hunter Biden’s cushy arrangement with Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings. And stunned by his father’s threat to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid to the country unless the President fired the prosecutor general who was about to question his son.

We also knew that Hunter Biden’s company had received a $1.5 billion investment from the Chinese government which provided him with lofty financial management fees.

A Deeper and More Dangerous Level of Corruption

Last week we learned from a bombshell report in The New York Post, that the corruption went even deeper and may have involved the Democratic presidential nominee himself.

Remarkably, Joe Biden was allegedly slated to receive a 10 percent share in a deal with CEFC, China’s largest private energy company. If this is true, as one of the explosive emails implies, then he has crossed the Rubicon indeed and has become a counterintelligence risk.

Dan Bongino explained this point on a recent podcast (episode 1370). If the newly revealed emails mean what it sure looks like they mean, then Joe Biden has become a national security threat.

Bongino asks, “Was Joe Biden being cut in and paid off by enemies of the United States while he was the vice president?…Was the sitting vice president of the United States and his son bought off by the Chinese Communist Party?”

In an email to his daughter Naomi, Hunter Biden provides some insight into his role as the rainmaker for the family. He is responding to her request for money. He writes, “I hope you all can do what I did, and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years and it has been tough. It’s really hard but don’t worry, unlike Pop, I won’t make you give me half your salary.”

In the video below, Bongino tells viewers:
Do you understand that if Joe Biden is elected president, he will have to be impeached immediately?…Joe Biden needs to step aside right now. Ladies and gentlemen, we have foreign enemies of the United States that clearly have compromising material on a person who could become the president…This is the time to very seriously protect the continuity plans for the United States of America. I’m not kidding.

You cannot have a president in office who is unquestionably compromised by the United States’ biggest enemy and a nuclear power…We cannot have a president who is protected by the media, protected by the tech companies, who is in the back pocket – and they have blackmail material on the president…
You can’t have that. Do you understand the danger we’re looking at? The disservice the media is doing right now? They are enemies of the people right now. They are on the wrong side of the republic. They are refusing to cover the biggest bombshell in modern presidential election history – that the Democratic nominee for president has blackmail material openly sitting out there by the Chinese…

And you may say, it’s not blackmail anymore. We all know about it. No, you don’t know what they know. That’s the point. This is just what we’ve seen…What else has Joe Biden been getting paid off for?…

A nuclear power and stated enemy of the United States, a communist power is going to own the president of the United States?

This guy is an existential threat to the United States. That is not hyperbole. A nuclear power has this guy’s family in their back pockets.”

The significance of The New York Post’s report cannot be overstated. I believe we will look back on last week as the tipping point in the 2020 presidential race.

Tech Giants Suppress the Story and The Media Downplays It

Additionally, we witnessed the best efforts of Twitter and Facebook brass to suppress the new information which turned this into an even bigger story.
We also watched the media either openly mock the story or ignore it entirely. The Washington Post portrayed it as “Trump’s last-ditch hope to cast a vague pall of corruption over Biden.” The newspaper decided to shoot the messenger. In an op-ed published on Thursday night, they sought to discredit Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s personal attorney, as “a target of a Russian intelligence operation to feed misinformation to Trump.”

It is this narrative that many on the left are now running with.
The article cites “four former officials familiar with the matter” as their sources, all of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity. Their information was obtained through various means, including “intercepted communications that showed Giuliani was interacting with people tied to Russian intelligence.”

The sources said, “Giuliani was not a target of U.S. surveillance while in Ukraine but was dealing with suspected Russian assets who were, leading to the capture of some of his communications.” Sure.

First, the writers continue to pretend that the now completely discredited Special Counsel investigation into the Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with the Russians was legitimate. The Mueller team merely had insufficient evidence to support criminal charges against Trump or members of his campaign, they tell readers.

The most outrageous remark in the article is that investigators “documented numerous instances in which Trump associates knowingly sought damaging information from Russian individuals and their proxies about Hillary Clinton.”

These statements are especially egregious considering the DNI’s recent release of documents confirming that the Russian collusion investigation was approved of and paid for by Hillary Clinton and her campaign. Additionally, these records show that President Obama and top FBI officials had been made aware of this in July 2016.

In December 2019, Giuliani traveled to Ukraine and other neighboring countries to collect evidence proving that the Bidens had engaged in corruption. He returned with a treasure trove of documents, interviews and other pertinent information.

The former officials claim that Giuliani “was being used to feed Russian misinformation to the president.”

One official told The Post that National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien met with Trump privately, to warn him that “any information Giuliani brought back from Ukraine should be considered contaminated by Russia.” The articles states:
The message was, “Do what you want to do, but your friend Rudy has been worked by Russian assets in Ukraine,” this person said. Officials wanted “to protect the president from coming out and saying something stupid,” particularly since he was facing impeachment over his own efforts to strong-arm Ukraine’s president into investigating the Bidens.
The writers from the newspaper whose motto is, “Democracy dies in darkness,” are doing their best to discredit what, taken together, has been a steady flow of damning evidence of illegal and/or unethical actions, against both the Bidens and the top Obama administration officials who were aware of it.

A Biden victory would be a sad and pivotal day in America’s history. I don’t know how, or even if, we could ever recover from it.

Hunter Biden's jailed former business partner flipped & leaked 26,000 emails
•Oct 19, 2020

Glenn Beck

Rep. Adam Schiff can baselessly claim the newly released emails between Hunter Biden and his former business partners are part of some Russian disinformation campaign, but it's a last-ditch effort to manipulate voters from the truth. Reporters who followed Biden's corruption for years now say those business partners are ready to flip on Hunter to show how corrupt the Biden family is. According to author of "Profiles in Corruption," Peter Schweizer, thousands of emails from the recently-obtained hard drive — allegedly from Hunter Biden's laptop — could be proof Joe Biden was a part of one of the biggest scandals in modern American politics. Glenn and his head researcher, Jason Buttrill, discuss the new details in the developing story. You can find Schweizer's latest work on the story here: https://www.breitbart.com/politics/20...

There is ZERO evidence of Russia's involvement in the Biden lab top scandal....

There is ZERO evidence of Russia's involvement in the Biden lab top scandal. Adam Schiff and the Democrats are desperately appearing all over the media and pushing this propaganda, which the Democrat Party-media are more than happy to repeat. The fact is that Hunter Biden is in hiding, it is his lap top, and it would be very easy for media outlets to track all this down given the extensive existence of evidence -- dates, times, emails, names, witnesses, etc. Instead, they throw around the "Russian disinformation" claim. A claim based on what? Indeed, the Director of National Intelligence said this morning that they have no information at all suggesting Russian involvements in this Biden scandal. So where are the Democrats and the media getting it from? Nowhere.

Moreover, think about this: so, the Russians plant the information in the lap top, including videos of Hunter having sex and using drugs plus 40,000 or so emails, and have it delivered to some guy in Delaware; after 90-days the guy decides to look at the contents. He then contacts the FBI, which interviews him and receives the original hard drive, and in the end ignores him. Next, the guy decides to give a copy of the hard drive to Giuliani's office, which in turn examines the contents and shares it with the New York Post. So, the Russians knew these events would transpire over a course of many months and become available in the weeks before the general election? Does that make sense to any rational person who is not working for the media or for the Democrat Party? Of course not. The Bidens are corrupt, using Joe Biden's name and the offices he has held to make a fortune from foreign entities. This is a very serious matter and Joe Biden shouldn't be free to simply dismiss it as a smear. This is not a conspiracy, this is not a Russian plot, this is real and this is significant.

Hunter Biden’s Computer Camera Roll Turned Over to Bannon and Giuliani Contains 25,000 Images With Sexually Explicit Selfies and Porn
Steven Ahle

Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani allegedly have 25000 Hunter Biden photos.
The NY Post released some shocking emails that supposedly came from a laptop computer owned by Hunter Biden. But the left is calling it Russian misinformation. That would be possible, but would it be possible for them to create pictures and videos of Hunter? 25,000 to be exact. While some were just personal photos, it is said that many of them are porn.

One of the pictures shows Hunter asleep with a crack pipe hanging from his mouth. A video shows him having sex with a prostitute. I just don’t see how they could have faked that. They are just trying to run out the clock before the election. They can bury everything after Joe takes office should he win. But if not, this could get very messy.

When Trump wins the first thing he needs to do is fire Chris Wray from the FBI and Gina Haspel from the CIA. Both have been blocking important information from being released. But he can’t do that before the election, which is a shame.
Those alleged 25,000 photos are said to be in the possession of Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani. They must be good. Rudy says he can destroy Biden’s campaign in the next week to ten days. I’m not so sure. Democratic voters aren’t very bright or they would vote for conservatives. Others just don’t care. They only look for the (D) without regard to who it is.

From The Gateway Pundit
Hunter Biden left his laptop at a computer shop and then neglected to pick it up after several calls. The owner of the computer repair company handed over Hunter’s laptop to the FBI last December. The FBI hid this evidence from congress and the executive branch during the Pelosi impeachment hearings. But before the computer store owner, John Paul Mac Isaac, turned over the computer to the FBI he first downloaded much of its contents. He later gave this information to Rudy Giuliani’s attorney who then worked with Steve Bannon to deliver the information to the New York Post.

Steve added that there are 25,000 images that show a drug-addled, depraved lifestyle.
Neither Hunter Biden’s lawyer nor Joe Biden’s campaign have disputed the validity of the trove of data that The Post obtained after being extracted from a MacBook Pro laptop. The owner of a Delaware computer repair shop said the device was dropped off in April 2019 but never retrieved.
A computer camera roll of nearly 25,000 images is loaded with sexually explicit selfies and porn (which The Post is not publishing), but also has snapshots from Biden’s childhood and vacations.

John Ratcliffe, Director of National Intelligence, told Fox Business on Monday morning that Hunter Biden’s laptop was not part of a Russian disinformation campaign despite the media’s attempts to claim otherwise.

Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo pressed Ratcliffe about claims from House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, who made repeated false claims during the Russia investigation, that the news surrounding the laptop was Russian disinformation.

“Is this Russian disinformation, director?” Bartiromo asked.

Ratcliffe responded, “So, Maria it’s funny that some of the people that complained the most about intelligence being politicized are the ones politicizing intelligence and unfortunately in this case, it is Adam Schiff, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, who as you pointed out on Friday said that the intelligence community believes that Hunter Biden’s laptop and e-mails on it are part of some Russian disinformation campaign.”

“Let me be clear, the intelligence community doesn’t believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that and we shared no intelligence with chairman Schiff or any other member of Congress that Hunter Biden’s laptop is part of some Russian disinformation campaign,” he continued. “It’s simply not true.”

Ratcliffe said that Schiff “wants anything against his preferred political candidate to be deemed as not real and is using the intelligence community, or attempting to use the intelligence community, to say there’s nothing to see here.”

“Don’t drag the intelligence community into this,” Ratcliffe continued. “Hunter Biden’s laptop is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign and I think it’s clear the American people know that.”

The segment comes after the New York Post published a series of explosive reports last week outlining alleged emails that came from a laptop that was dropped off at a computer repair store in Delaware last April. The person who brought the laptop into the store never paid for service and never retrieved the device and, the store owner, after inspecting the device, turned it over to federal law enforcement officials. The store owner also claims to have made a copy of the device’s hard drive, which he later turned over to an attorney.

The New York Post’s first report stated:
The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month.
“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the e-mail reads.
An earlier e-mail from May 2014 also shows Pozharskyi, reportedly Burisma’s No. 3 exec, asking Hunter for “advice on how you could use your influence” on the company’s behalf.
“The Post noted that the revelation comes after Biden has repeatedly denied speaking with his son, Hunter Biden, about his overseas business dealings,” The Daily Wire reported. “Fox News host Tucker Carlson released a picture last year of Joe Biden playing golf with his son and his son’s business partner, Devon Archer, who also served on Burisma’s board.”

Late last week, Fox News confirmed the veracity of some of the emails that were published, including ones that appeared “to outline a payout for former Vice President Joe Biden as part of a deal with a Chinese energy firm.”

“One email, dated May 13, 2017, and obtained by Fox News, includes a discussion of ‘remuneration packages’ for six people in a business deal with a Chinese energy firm. The email appeared to identify Biden as ‘Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC,’ in an apparent reference to now-bankrupt CEFC China Energy Co,” Fox News reported. “The email includes a note that ‘Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.’ A proposed equity split references ’20’ for ‘H’ and ’10 held by H for the big guy?’ with no further details. Fox News spoke to one of the people who was copied on the email, who confirmed its authenticity.”

Multiple sources reportedly told Fox News that “the big guy” was a reference to the former vice president.

“The Biden campaign and Hunter Biden have not disputed the authenticity of any of the emails from his purported laptop that have been published so far,” The Daily Caller reported. “They have also not denied that Biden dropped off the laptop at a computer shop last year.”

Ratcliffe says Hunter Biden laptop, emails 'not part of some Russian disinformation campaign'
'There is no intelligence that supports that,' Director of National Intelligence Ratcliffe says

By Brooke Singman | Fox News

Hunter Biden emails not part of a 'Russian disinformation campaign': John Ratcliffe

Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe provides insight into the New York Post bombshell report on Hunter Biden.

Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe on Monday said that Hunter Biden’s laptop “is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign,” amid claims from House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff suggesting otherwise.

Ratcliffe, during an exclusive interview on FOX Business’ “Mornings with Maria,” was asked about the allegations from Schiff, D-Calif., who over the weekend said that the Hunter Biden emails suggesting Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden had knowledge of, and was allegedly involved in, his son’s foreign business dealings.

“It’s funny that some of the people who complain the most about intelligence being politicized are the ones politicizing the intelligence,” Ratcliffe said. “Unfortunately, it is Adam Schiff who said the intelligence community believes the Hunter Biden laptop and emails on it are part of a Russian disinformation campaign.”

He added: “Let me be clear: the intelligence community doesn’t believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that. And we have shared no intelligence with Adam Schiff, or any member of Congress.”

Ratcliffe went on to say that it is “simply not true.”

“Hunter Biden’s laptop is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign,” Ratcliffe said, adding again that “this is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign.”

Ratcliffe’s comments come after Schiff over the weekend described the emails as being part of a smear coming “from the Kremlin,” amid claims the revelations are part of a Russian disinformation campaign.

“We know that this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin,” Schiff said on CNN. “That’s been clear for well over a year now that they’ve been pushing this false narrative about this vice president and his son.”

A senior intelligence official backed up Ratcliffe's assessment.

"Ratcliffe is 100% correct," the senior intelligence official told Fox News. "There is no intelligence at this time to support Chairman Schiff's statement that recent stories on Biden's foreign business dealings are part of a smart campaign that 'comes from the Kremlin.' Numerous foreign adversaries are seeking to influence American politics, policies, and media narratives. They don't need any help from politicians who spread false information under the guise of intelligence."
Ratcliffe went on to say that the laptop is “in the jurisdiction of the FBI.”

“The FBI has had possession of this,” he said. “Without commenting on any investigation that they may or may not have, their investigation is not centered around Russian disinformation and the intelligence community is not playing any role with respect to that.”

He added: “The intelligence community has not been involved in Hunter Biden’s laptop

A senior Trump administration official, however, told Fox News that the FBI was not investigating the emails as Russian disinformation.

The FBI declined to confirm or deny the existence of an investigation, as is standard practice.

Meanwhile, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is investigating Hunter Biden’s emails which reveal that he introduced his father, the former vice president, to a top executive at Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings in 2015.

Ratcliffe went on to say that his role as director of National Intelligence, which he assumed earlier this year, is “to not allow people to leverage the intelligence community for a political narrative that’s not true.”

“In this case, Adam Schiff saying this is part of a disinformation campaign and that the intelligence community has assessed and believes that — that is simply not true,” he said. “Whether its Republicans or Democrats, if they try to leverage the intelligence community for political gain, I won’t allow it.”

Meanwhile, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is investigating Hunter Biden's emails.

The emails in question were first obtained by the New York Post and, in part, revealed that Hunter Biden introduced the then-vice president to a top executive at Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings less than a year before he pressured government officials in Ukraine to fire prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating the company.

"We regularly speak with individuals who email the committee’s whistleblower account to determine whether we can validate their claims," Johnson told Fox News. "Although we consider those communications to be confidential, because the individual in this instance spoke with the media about his contact with the committee, we can confirm receipt of his email complaint, have been in contact with the whistleblower, and are in the process of validating the information he provided.”

The Post report revealed that Biden, at Hunter’s request, met with Vadym Pozharskyi in April 2015 in Washington, D.C.

The meeting was mentioned in an email of appreciation, according to the Post, that Pozharskyi sent to Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015 — a year after Hunter took on his lucrative position on the board of Burisma.

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email read.

But Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates last week hit back against the New York Post story, saying: “Investigations by the press, during impeachment, and even by two Republican-led Senate committees whose work was decried as 'not legitimate' and political by a GOP colleague have all reached the same conclusion: that Joe Biden carried out official U.S. policy toward Ukraine and engaged in no wrongdoing. Trump administration officials have attested to these facts under oath.”

“The New York Post never asked the Biden campaign about the critical elements of this story. They certainly never raised that Rudy Giuliani—whose discredited conspiracy theories and alliance with figures connected to Russian intelligence have been widely reported—claimed to have such materials,” Bates continued. “Moreover, we have reviewed Joe Biden’s official schedules from the time and no meeting, as alleged by the New York Post, ever took place.”

The Biden campaign also told Fox News Sunday that the former vice president “never had a meeting” with Pozharskyi.

Biden, prior to the emails surfacing, repeatedly has claimed he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”

Hunter Biden’s business dealings, and role on the board of Burisma, emerged during the Trump impeachment inquiry in 2019.

Biden once famously boasted on camera that when he was vice president and spearheading the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy, he successfully pressured Ukraine to fire Shokin, who was the top prosecutor at the time. He had been investigating the founder of Burisma.

“I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,” Biden infamously said to the Council on Foreign Relations in 2018.

“Well, son of a b---,” he continued. “He got fired.”

Biden and Biden allies have maintained, though, that his intervention prompting the firing of Shokin had nothing to do with his son, but rather was tied to corruption concerns.

Meanwhile, the Post reported Wednesday the emails were part of a trove of data recovered from a laptop which was dropped off at a repair shop in Delaware in April 2019.

The Post reported that other material turned up on the laptop, including a video, which they described as showing Hunter smoking crack while engaged in a sexual act with an unidentified woman, as well as other sexually explicit images.

The FBI reportedly seized the computer and hard drive in December 2019. The shop owner, though, said he made a copy of the hard drive and later gave it to former Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello.

The Post reported that the FBI referred questions about the hard drive and laptop to the Delaware U.S. Attorney’s Office, where a spokesperson told the outlet that the office “can neither confirm nor deny the existence of an investigation.”

A lawyer for Hunter Biden did not comment on specifics, but instead told the Post that Giuliani “has been pushing widely discredited conspiracy theories about the Biden family, openly relying on actors tied to Russian intelligence.”

Giuliani did not respond to Fox News’ requests for comment.

Another email, dated May 13, 2017, and obtained by Fox News, includes a discussion of “renumeration packages” for six people in a business deal with a Chinese energy firm. The email appeared to identify Hunter Biden as “Chair/ Vice Chair depending on an agreement with CEFC,” in an apparent reference to now-bankrupt CEFC China Energy Co.

The email includes a note that “Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.” A proposed equity split references “20” for “H” and “10 held by H for the big guy?” with no further details.

Fox News spoke to one of the people who was copied on the email, who confirmed its authenticity.

Sources also told Fox News that “the big guy” was a reference to the former vice president. The New York Post initially published the emails, and others, that Fox News has also obtained.

While Biden has not commented on that email, or his alleged involvement in any deals with the Chinese Energy firm, his campaign said it released the former vice president’s tax documents and returns, which do not reflect any involvement with Chinese investments.

Fox News also obtained an email last week that revealed an adviser of Burisma Holdings, Vadym Pozharskyi, wrote an email to Hunter Biden on May 12, 2014, requesting “advice” on how he could use his “influence to convey a message” to “stop” what the company considers to be “politically motivated actions.”

“We urgently need your advice on how you could use your influence to convey a message / signal, etc .to stop what we consider to be politically motivated actions,” Pozharskyi wrote.

The email, part of a longer email chain obtained by Fox News, appeared to be referencing the firm’s founder, Mykola Zlochevsky, being under investigation.

Sperry Exposes The Complete History Of Hunter Biden's Crony-Connected Jobs

Mon, 10/19/2020 - 23:00

Authored by Paul Sperry via RealClearInvestigations.com,

Hunter Biden profited from his father’s political connections long before he struck questionable deals in countries where Joe Biden was undertaking diplomatic missions as vice president. In fact, virtually all the jobs listed on his resume going back to his first position out of college, which paid a six-figure salary, came courtesy of the former six-term senator’s donors, lobbyists and allies, a RealClearInvestigations examination has found.

Hunter Biden: Through a lawyer, he maintained he and his father dutifully avoided “conflicts of interest.” Democratic National Convention/YouTube

That the 50-year-old Hunter has been trading on his Democratic father’s political influence his entire adult life raises legal questions about possible influence-peddling, government watchdogs and former federal investigators say. In addition, the more than two-decades-long pattern of nepotism casts fresh doubt on Joe Biden’s recent statements that he “never discussed" business with his son, and that his activities posed "no conflicts of interest."

No fewer than three committees in the Republican-controlled Senate have opened probes into potential Biden family conflicts. Investigators are also poring over Treasury Department records that have flagged suspicious activities involving Hunter's banking transactions and business deals that may be connected to his father’s political influence.

U.S. ethics rules require all government officials to avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest in taking official actions. The Bidens have denied any wrongdoing.

While most of the attention on Hunter has focused on his dealings in Ukraine and China when his father was in the White House, he also cashed in on cushy jobs and sweetheart deals throughout his dad’s long Senate career, records reveal.

"Hunter Biden's Ukraine-China connections are just one element of the Biden corruption story,” said Tom Fitton, president of the Washington-based watchdog group Judicial Watch, who contends Biden used both the Office of the Vice President and the Senate to advance his son’s personal interests.

In each case, Hunter Biden appeared under-qualified for the positions he obtained. All the while, he was a chronic abuser of alcohol and drugs, including crack cocaine, and has cycled in and out of no fewer than six drug-rehab treatment programs, according to published reports. He's also been the subject of at least two drug-related investigations by police, one in 1988 and another in 2016, according to federal records and reports. A third drug investigation resulted in his discharge from the U.S. Navy Reserve in 2014.

This comprehensive account of Hunter Biden’s “unique career trajectory,” as one former family friend gently put it, was pieced together through interviews with more than a dozen people, several of whom insisted on anonymity to describe private conversations, and after an in-depth examination of public records, including Securities and Exchange Commission filings, court papers, campaign filings, federal lobbying disclosures, and congressional documents.

Hunter Biden's resume begins 24 years ago. Here is a rundown of the plum positions he has managed to land since 1996, thanks to his politically connected father and his boosters:

1996-1998: MBNA Corp.
Fresh out of college, credit-card giant MBNA put him on its payroll as "senior vice president" earning more than $100,000 a year, plus an undisclosed signing bonus. Delaware-based MBNA at the time was Biden’s largest donor and lobbying the Delaware senator for bankruptcy reforms that would make it harder for consumers to declare bankruptcy and write off credit-card debt.

When Tom Brokaw asked Biden in 2008 about whether his son's job was a conflict of interest, he snapped "Absolutely not." It was an answer he'd repeat many times in the future. NBC News/YouTube

Besides a job for Hunter, bank executives and employees gave generously to Joe Biden’s campaigns – $214,000 total, federal records show – and one top executive even bought Biden’s Wilmington, Del., home for more than $200,000 above the market value, real estate records show. The exec paid top dollar – $1.2 million – for the old house even though it lacked central air conditioning. MBNA also flew Biden and his wife to events and covered their travel costs, disclosure forms show.

Sen. Biden eventually came through for MBNA by sponsoring and whipping votes in the Senate to pass the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention Act.

When NBC News anchor Tom Brokaw asked Biden during the 2008 presidential campaign whether it was wrong “for someone like you in the middle of all this to have your son collecting money from this big credit-card company while you were on the (Senate) floor protecting its interests,” Biden gave an answer he would repeat many times in the future: “Absolutely not,” he snapped, arguing it was completely appropriate and that Hunter deserved the position and generous salary because he graduated from Yale.

1998-2001: Commerce Department
Hunter also capitalized on the family name in 1998 when he joined President Clinton’s agency. In spite of having no experience in the dot-com industry, he was appointed "executive director of e-commerce policy coordination,” pulling down another six-figure salary plus bonuses.

He landed the job after his father’s longtime campaign manager and lawyer William Oldaker called then-Commerce Secretary William Daley, who'd also worked on Biden’s campaigns, and put in a good word for his son, according to public records.

2001-2009: Oldaker, Biden & Belair
After Republican President George W. Bush took over the Commerce Department, Hunter left the government and joined Oldaker to open a lobbying shop in Washington, just blocks from Congress, where he gained access to exclusive business and political deals.

Robert Skomorucha: Hunter had “a very strong last name that really paid off in terms of our lobbying efforts.” LinkedIn

Federal disclosure forms show Hunter Biden and his firm billed millions of dollars while lobbying on behalf of a host of hospitals and private colleges and universities, among other clients. In a 2006 disclosure statement submitted to the Senate, Hunter said his clients were “seeking federal appropriations dollars.”
Hunter won the contract to represent St. Joseph’s University from an old Biden family friend who worked in government relations at the university and proposed he solicit earmarks for one of its programs in Philadelphia. The friend, Robert Skomorucha, remarked in a press interview that Hunter had “a very strong last name that really paid off in terms of our lobbying efforts.”

These clients, like MBNA, also favored bankruptcy reforms to make it harder for patients and students to discharge debt in bankruptcy filings. At the same time Hunter was operating as a Beltway lobbyist, he was receiving "consulting payments" from his old employer MBNA, which was still courting his father over the bankruptcy reforms.

In 2007, Hunter also dined with a private prison lobbyist who had business before a Senate Judiciary subcommittee Joe Biden chaired, according to published reports. Senate rules bar members or their staff from having contact with family members who are lobbyists seeking to influence legislation.

William Oldaker: Did not just make Hunter a rich lobbyist, but secured him a $1 million loan that went sour. ldaker & Willison

Hunter’s lawyer-lobbyist firm was embroiled in a conflict-of-interest controversy in 2006 when it was criticized for representing a lobbyist under investigation by the House ethics committee. The lobbyist was still taking payments from his old K street firm while working as a top aide on the House Appropriations Committee. Hunter at the time was lobbying that same committee for earmarks for his clients.

William Oldaker did not just make Hunter a rich lobbyist. Oldaker also secured a $1 million loan for him through a bank he co-founded, WashingtonFirst, that Hunter sought for an investment scheme, which later went sour.

Joe Biden deposited hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign and political action committee donations at WashingtonFirst, while funneling hundreds of thousands in campaign and PAC expenditures to Oldaker, Biden & Belair. Joe Biden's payments to Hunter’s lobbying firm, including more than $143,000 in 2007 alone, were listed as “legal services” in Federal Election Commission filings.
Oldaker did not respond to a request for comment left at his office.

2003-2005: National Group LLP
While serving as a partner at Oldaker, Biden & Belair, Hunter also registered as a lobbyist for National Group, a lobbying-only subsidiary which shared offices with OB&B and specialized in targeted spending items inserted into legislation known as “earmarks.”

Hunter represented his father’s alma mater, the University of Delaware, and other Biden constituents and submitted requests to Biden’s office for earmarks benefiting these clients in appropriations bills.

2006-2007: Paradigm Companies LLC
In 2005, when Joe Biden was thinking about making another run at the White House, after a 1987 bid that ended in plagiarism charges, his lobbyist son was looking for a new line of work too.

In early 2006, Wall Street executive and Biden family friend Anthony Lotito said, Biden’s younger brother, Jim, phoned him on behalf of the senator. He said Biden wanted his youngest son – whom he still called “Honey” – to get out of the lobbying business to avoid allegations of conflicts of interest that might dog Biden’s presidential bid.

“Biden was concerned with the impact that Hunter’s lobbying activities might have on his expected campaign [and asked his brother to] seek Lotito’s assistance in finding employment for Hunter in a non-lobbying capacity,” according to a January 2007 complaint that Lotito filed in New York state court against Hunter over alleged breach of contract in a related venture. (Jim and Hunter Biden denied such a phone call took place as described.)

Lotito told the court he agreed to help Hunter as a favor to the senator, who had served on the powerful banking committee. He figured “the financial community might be a good starting place in which to seek out employment on Hunter’s behalf,” the court documents state. But he quickly found that Wall Street had “no interest" in hiring Biden.

So the Bidens hatched a scheme to buy a hedge fund, “whereby Hunter would then assume a senior executive position with the company.” And Lotito helped broker the deal. Despite having no Wall Street experience, Biden was appointed interim CEO and president of the Paradigm investment fund and given a $1.2 million salary, according to SEC filings. Lotito joined the enterprise as a partner, and agreed to shepherd Hunter, still in his mid-thirties, through his new role in high-finance.

“Given Hunter Biden’s inexperience in the securities industry,” the complaint states, it was agreed that Lotito would maintain an office at the new holding company’s New York headquarters “in order to assist Biden in discharging his duties as president.”

After the venture failed, Lotito sued the Bidens for fraud. The Bidens countersued and the two parties settled in 2008.

2006-2009: Amtrak
During this same period, Hunter was appointed vice chairman of the taxpayer-subsidized rail line, thanks to the sponsorship of powerful Democratic Sen. Harry Reid, a political ally of his father.

Joe Biden: The "senator from Amtrak" had a son from Amtrak too. Michael Perez/AP for Siemens

In a 2006 statement submitted to the Senate during his confirmation, Hunter asserted that he was qualified for the Amtrak board because “as a frequent commuter and Amtrak customer for over 30 years, I have literally logged thousands of miles on Amtrak.”

Amtrak has been a major supporter of Joe Biden, donating to both his Senate and presidential campaigns and even naming a train station after him in Wilmington. In return, Biden has supported taxpayer subsidies for the government railroad throughout his political career.

In his testimony, Hunter denied his Amtrak appointment pushed conflict-of-interest boundaries.

2009- : Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC
Hunter co-founded the investment firm five months after his father moved into the White House and incorporated it in his father’s home state of Delaware, which has strict corporate secrecy rules.

At the time, Obama had tapped Vice President Biden to oversee the recovery from the financial crisis. Three weeks after Rosemont was incorporated, Hunter and his partners set up a subsidiary called Rosemont TALF and got $24 million in loans from the federal program known as the Term Asset-Backed Securities Loan Facility. TALF was designed to help bail out banks and auto lenders hit by the crisis.

Within months, Rosemont had secured a total of $130 million from the program. Some of the government cash was then funneled into an investment fund incorporated in the Cayman Islands, SEC records show. Such offshore accounts are commonly used to evade taxes.

The move raised ethical flags with government watchdogs who suspected the bailout cash was used to benefit a well-connected insider.

Other records reveal that another subsidiary created years later – Rosemont Realty – touted to its investors that board adviser Hunter was politically connected. It highlighted in a company prospectus that he was the “son of Vice President Biden.”

2009-2012: Eudora Global
On his resume, Hunter also lists himself as “founder" of yet another investment firm. But Eudora’s articles of incorporation show it was actually set up by a major Biden donor, Jeffrey Cooper, who put Hunter on his board after his father became vice president.

A self-described “friend of the Biden family,” Cooper also happened to run one of the largest asbestos-litigation firms in the country — SimmonsCooper LLC — and had courted Biden to make it easier to file asbestos lawsuits by defeating tort reforms. As a leader on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Biden had blocked reform of asbestos litigation every time bills reached the Senate floor.

Cooper’s law firm, which directly lobbied the Delaware senator's office to kill such bills, donated more than $200,000 to Biden’s campaigns over the years, as well as his Unite Our States PAC, FEC records show. In fact, SimmonsCooper was one of Biden’s biggest donors during his failed 2007-2008 run for president, pumping $53,000 into his campaign.

The firm also put up $1 million in investment capital to help his son buy out the Paradigm hedge fund as part of the arrangement brokered by another Biden family friend, Lotito, to find non-lobbying work for Hunter.. Thanks in large part to Biden’s effort to kill bills reining in asbestos trial lawyers, SimmonsCooper has hauled in more than $1 billion for alleged asbestos victims.

Attempts to reach Cooper for comment were unsuccessful.

2009-2016: Boies Schiller Flexner LLP
When Joe Biden became Vice President, Hunter landed a high-paying, no-show job at the New York-based law firm, a Democrat shop long tied to the Clintons. Another major Biden donor, the firm gave him the title “of counsel.”

Boies Schiller Flexner: Got Fraud charges against Hunter Biden dismissed, then brought him aboard. Boies Schiller Flexner

Boies Schiller brought Hunter aboard in 2009 after the Bidens hired the firm to defend Hunter against charges he defrauded partners in the Paradigm investment venture. Boies Schiller managed to get the case dismissed.
In 2014, a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch, who was under investigation and looking to repair his reputation to attract Western investors, started sending large payments to Boies to support Hunter for unspecified work. It’s unclear what Hunter did for the oligarch, who ran the gas giant Burisma, but $283,000 showed up at the same time his father was tapped by Obama to play a central role in overseeing U.S. energy policy in Ukraine.

Boies Schiller has pumped more than $50,000 into Biden's campaigns, Federal Election Commission records show.

2013-2019: BHR Partners
After Obama named Biden his point man on China policy, Rosemont Seneca set up a joint venture worth $1 billion with the Bank of China called BHR – and Hunter was named vice-chairman and director of the new concern.

BHR Partners: Hunter arranged for one of his Chinese partners to shake hands with his father, the vice president. Beijing approved a business license shortly afterward. BHR Partners

Following in the shadow of his father’s political trajectory, Hunter’s new venture won the first-of-its-kind investment deal with the Chinese government at the same time Biden was jetting to Beijing to meet with top communist leaders. Secret Service records reveal Hunter flew to China on Air Force Two with his father while brokering the December 2013 deal. He arranged for one of his Chinese partners to shake hands with the vice president. BHR was registered 12 days later. Beijing OK’d a business license shortly afterward.

“No one else had such an arrangement in China,” said Peter Schweizer, president of the Government Accountability Institute.

Hunter resigned from the board of the Beijing-backed equity firm earlier this year as his father faced growing criticism on the campaign trail over what critics called a glaring conflict of interest. He did not, however, divest his 10% equity stake in the Chinese fund, which is estimated to be worth tens of millions of dollars.

Schweizer, whose books include “Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elites,” said Biden went “soft” on the Chinese communists so his son could “cash in” on China business deals. Biden insists he did not discuss the venture with his son before, during or after his official visit to Beijing. But others see obvious hypocrisy at play in the Biden family's self-dealing in notoriously corrupt China.

"Biden was one of the most vocal champions of anti-corruption efforts in the Obama administration. So when this same Biden takes his son with him to China aboard Air Force Two, and within days Hunter joins the board of an investment advisory firm with stakes in China, it does not matter what father and son discussed,” said Sarah Chayes, author of "Thieves of State: Why Corruption Threatens National Security.” "Joe Biden has enabled this brand of practice.”

2013-2014: U.S. Navy Reserve
Hunter was selected for a direct commission as a public affairs officer in a Virginia reserve unit.

He clearly received special treatment in securing the part-time post. Officers had to issue him two waivers – one for his age and one for a previous drug offense.
His vice president father swore him in at the White House in a small, private ceremony.

Barely a year later, authorities booted Hunter from the Navy for cocaine use after he tested positive from a urine test. The reason for his discharge was withheld from the press for several months.

2014-2019: Burisma Holdings
The Ukrainian gas giant added Hunter to its board soon after Obama named his father his point man on Ukraine policy, focusing on energy. The company paid his son as much as $83,000 a month, even though he had no energy experience to bring to the table and was required to attend just one board meeting a year.

At the time, the vice president was steering U.S. aid to Kiev to help develop its gas fields, which stood to benefit Burisma as the holder of permits to develop natural gas in three of Ukraine’s most lucrative fields. Biden promised Ukrainian officials the US would pump more than $1 billion into their energy industry and economy during a visit to Kiev in late April 2014. He urged leaders to increase the country’s gas supply and to rely on Americans to help them. Less than three weeks later, Burisma appointed his son to the board, after already retaining him for undisclosed services through Boies Schiller.

Burisma was run by an oligarch, Mykola Zlochevsky, who was under investigation at the time and seeking Western protection from prosecution. In a move observers suspect was intended to send a message to prosecutors, the company sent out a news release in May 2014 claiming, falsely, that Hunter would be in charge of its “legal unit.” Burisma also trumpeted the fact that Hunter was “the son of the current U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden."

Biden’s office was aware Burisma was under investigation. The administration had tried to partner with the gas company through U.S. aid programs, but the outreach project was blocked over corruption concerns lodged by career diplomats.

In early 2016, Biden threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees if Ukraine did not dismiss the country’s top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma. “If the prosecutor is not fired,” Biden recalled telling Ukraine’s leader, “you’re not getting the money."

Biden’s muscling worked: Shokin was sacked in March 2016.
The former vice president says he was carrying out official U.S. policy that sought to remove an ineffective prosecutor. But Shokin had raided the home of Burisma’s owner and seized his property.

In addition, Shokin said that as part of his probe he was making plans to interview Hunter about millions of dollars in fees he and his partners had received from Burisma. He insists he was fired because he refused to close the investigation.

“The truth is that I was forced out because I was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into Burisma, and Joe Biden’s son was a member of the board,” Shokin said in a recent sworn affidavit prepared for a European court. “I assume Burisma had the support of Joe Biden because his son was on the board.” He added that the vice president himself had “significant interests” in Burisma.
The prosecutor who replaced Shokin shut down the Burisma probe within 10 months. Burisma’s founder was also taken off a U.S. government visa ban list.

Biden claims he only learned of his son joining the Burisma board from the news media. But there is evidence Biden had been consulted in advance. White House visitor logs show that Biden met with Hunter’s business partner Devon Archer on April 16, 2014. Burisma put Archer on its board shortly thereafter, followed by Hunter the next month. (Both Archer and Hunter maintain Burisma never came up during the private visit in Biden’s office, which lasted late into the night.)
The day after Joe Biden’s meeting with Hunter’s partner in the White House, Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi reportedly emailed Hunter to thank him for inviting him to Washington and “giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent[sic] some time together.” The Biden campaign asserts it cannot find a meeting with Pozharskyi on the former vice president’s “schedule,” though it did not deny such a meeting could have taken place. The Ukrainian official mentioned going out for coffee with Hunter on April 17, 2014, which indicated he was physically in D.C. at the time. RCI has not confirmed the authenticity of the April 17 email document, first disclosed by the New York Post after obtaining it from a hard drive allegedly copied from a laptop of Hunter Biden left at a computer repair shop in Wilmington, Del. Pozharskyi did not respond to emails seeking comment.

Hunter stepped down from Burisma's board in April 2019, a month before his father announced his White House bid and after critics made an issue of the conflicts his sinecure posed. He has since kept a very low profile. Unlike Trump’s children, Biden’s son is not out on the trail campaigning for him.

1,850 Boxes Sealed Until After Election
“Hunter Biden had no experience in the field, but he did have a notable connection to the vice president, who publicly has bragged about making clear to the Ukrainians that he alone controlled U.S. aid to the country,” noted Jonathan Turley, a public-interest law professor at George Washington University.

Retired FBI official I.C. Smith, who led public corruption investigations in Washington and Little Rock, Ark., said both father and son should have known joining Burisma was a bad idea, adding that it gives at least the appearance he was leveraging his name for payoffs from shady clients abroad.

"Clearly he's led a troubled life and would be the sort of person susceptible to becoming engaged in this sort of rather sordid deal,” Smith said of Hunter.
"When he said his father asked if the deal was on the up and up and was assured it was, I would think, given Hunter's past, the father would have asked more questions,” he added.

Hunter acknowledged in an ABC News interview last year that he lacked experience in both energy and Ukraine, but maintained that Burisma was impressed by other things on his resume.

“Ironically, Hunter highlighted his work at MBNA and his work on the board of Amtrak as evidence of his qualifications for the Burisma gig,” said Fitton of Judicial Watch. "But both the MBNA and Amtrak jobs, under any sensible analysis, were obvious favors for Joe Biden."

Fitton argued that Biden’s claim he never discussed his son’s jobs and business deals rings hollow against the lengthy record of something-for-nothing nepotism.

“That’s campaign spin,” he said. “Hunter has already admitted to having at least one conversation on the Ukraine issue with Vice President Biden.”

Biden defenders argue that many relatives of politicians are often involved in government and politics. Ivanka Trump and Don Trump Jr., for instance, have cozy relationships with, or financial stakes in, companies that may benefit from those decisions. They also point out that, while they may look bad, there's nothing illegal about such arrangements.

Fitton isn’t so sure. He said Judicial Watch is demanding Obama administration documents related to Hunter’s Ukraine and China deals, as well as other business arrangements potentially monetizing Biden’s political power.

“We can’t be sure if the arrangements were legal,” he said. “If any payments or jobs were neither ordinary nor customary, there may be legal issues.”

It’s a federal crime to provide a government benefit or favorable change in policy in exchange for something of personal value. At a minimum, argued former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy, Biden “had a conflict of interest with the position his son had” on the Burisma board, noting that at the time, Biden was pushing energy policies that favored the gas giant.

Not all of Hunter Biden’s critics are coming from the right, either.

“It’s hard to avoid the conclusion that Hunter’s foreign employers and partners were seeking to leverage Hunter’s relationship with Joe, either by seeking improper influence or to project access to him,” said Robert Weissman, president of Public Citizen, a liberal watchdog group based in Washington.

While Joe Biden insists “there’s been no indication of any conflict of interest from Ukraine or anywhere else," Senate investigators are seeking a number of related emails and memos generated during the Obama administration, as well as his 36-year Senate career. That period, spanning from 1973 to 2009, coincides with a large chunk of his son’s resume.

However, Biden has sealed the bulk of the records at the University of Delaware Library, which refuses to release any of his papers until after the election. It maintains more than 1,850 boxes of Biden records, including his speeches, voting records, position papers and notes from confidential interviews he’s conducted with foreign leaders, among other documents. The papers the university is keeping a lid on could shed light on Biden’s thinking behind foreign policies and controversial bills he sponsored.

A spokeswoman said the library will not release any of Biden’s papers to the public until they are “properly processed and archived.” Until then, “access is only available with Vice President Biden’s express consent,” she said, while declining to answer whether the university would comply if the Senate subpoenaed documents as part of its investigation of the Bidens.

The university houses the Biden Institute, which is part of the Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy and Administration.

Through a lawyer, Hunter maintained he and his father dutifully avoided “conflicts of interest” — or even “the appearance of such conflicts." In every business pursuit, he asserted, they acted “appropriately and in good faith.”

However, in a moment of candor during a recent ABC News interview, Hunter confessed: "I don't think that there's a lot of things that would have happened in my life if my last name wasn't Biden,” before adding, "There's literally nothing my father in some way hasn't had influence over.”

Still, the elder Biden argues it’s the Trump family who has the nepotism problem. In a recent CBS “60 Minutes” interview, he slammed the president for letting his daughter and son-in-law "sit in on Cabinet meetings."

"It's just simply improper because you should make it clear to the American public that everything you're doing is for them,” he intoned. "For them.”

House Republicans Formally Request AG Barr Appoint Special Prosecutor To Probe Biden Business Dealings

William Barr, U.S. attorney general, speaks during a roundtable discussion with federal, state, and local officials, not pictured, at the U.S. Attorney's Office in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S., on Monday, Sept. 21, 2020. Barr said the federal government is awarding more than $100 million in grants to target human trafficking. The money will go to task forces combatting human trafficking, to victim services and victim housing, reports the Associated Press.

On Monday, House Republicans formally requested that Attorney General William Barr appoint a special prosecutor to investigate allegations arising from a New York Post story about Hunter Biden’s business dealings.

In a letter released Monday morning, eleven Members of Congress urged Barr to initiate an investigation into whether the younger Biden used his father, Joe Biden’s, position as Vice President to gain the upper hand in international business deals. The Post story, as The Daily Wire reported last week, claims that emails, found on a computer allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden, substantiate such allegations.

The story remains controversial, with Democrats and other left-leaning activists suggesting, over the weekend, that the laptop — and subsequent stories about its contents — were planted by Russians, intent on upending the 2020 presidential campaign through the spread of misinformation.

Although the story has yet to be confirmed, the Director of National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, did say, Monday morning, that there is no evidence to suggest the story is part of a “disinformation campaign.”

“Let me be clear, the intelligence community doesn’t believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that and we shared no intelligence with chairman Schiff or any other member of Congress that Hunter Biden’s laptop is part of some Russian disinformation campaign,” he told Fox Business. “It’s simply not true.”

House Republicans, then, want answers about “[former Vice President Joe] Biden’s reported participation with his son’s business, dealings, specifically whether the former vice president (1) received foreign monies during his tenure in the Obama administration and (2) if former Vice President Biden allowed his son to peddle access to his father with foreign business entities,” the letter notes.

The Biden campaign, of course, denies any wrongdoing. The candidate himself has yet to address the allegations, though, responding aggressively to one CBS reporter who questioned him on the story Saturday and answering only questions about preferred milkshake flavors at a campaign stop on Sunday. Late Sunday night, CBS reported that Biden will not hold any public or press events ahead of the presidential debate on Thursday.

House Republicans are also requesting information from the Department of Justice itself. According to Fox News, other GOP House Members are requesting to know whether the FBI was in possession of information about Hunter Biden’s business dealings (from the laptop in question or elsewhere) and kept the information out of the public eye.

“If the FBI was, in fact, in possession of this evidence and failed to alert the White House to its existence that would have given even more weight to the president’s legal defense, this was a gross error in judgment and a severe violation of trust,” that letter, signed by 19 House Republicans, says.

It is not likely Barr or the DOJ at large will respond to either request ahead of the presidential election, which will take place on November 3rd, but the letters initiate a paper trail that House Republicans can return to in a potential Biden administration, if necessary.

Meadows: ‘You’ll See a Romanian Connection’ with Money Flowing to Bidens

IAN HANCHETT19 Oct 2020210

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “The Evening Edit,” White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows stated that “some of the monies that appear to be flowing to the Biden family broadly come from Romania, from Ukraine, and from China,” and “I think in the days to come, you’ll see a Romanian connection as well.”

Meadows said, [relevant remarks begin around 8:30] “Joe Biden is putting a lid on everything. Because he’s been putting a lid on what he means by court-packing, or whether he’s for it or against it. And — but he’s also not wanting to answer the critical questions, what he knew about Hunter Biden’s corrupt — alleged corrupt activities, what he knew about the interference. You know, I find it fascinating that some of the monies that appear to be flowing to the Biden family broadly come from Romania, from Ukraine, and from China, the very three countries that Joe Biden was special envoy to.”

Host Elizabeth MacDonald asked, “Did you mean to say Russia and not Romania? It’s Russia, Ukraine, and China’s the allegation about Hunter Biden’s influence-peddling. Is Romania the new country?”

Meadows responded, “I actually mentioned Romania. So, I think in the days to come, you’ll see a Romanian connection as well.”
