Thanks, Dennis, for closing the botched poll on the first attempt at posting this.

Thanks also to Blacknarwhal for inspiring this week’s challenge.

Here we go. Which was voted “best way to quit” your job? The reveal post tomorrow will show the website where you can find close to 90 entries. Your job is to determine which received the most votes. Good luck!

After my recent failings, I am going to dispense with all methodology and throw caution to the wind.

I like B and D and probably would have voted for D on the website, but I have a feeling that A got the most overall votes.

So I vote A.

I went with D because A says he got fired, and the key word in the title is Quit.

Besides, D is subtle and I likes subtle.

C very cool way to quit and not burn a bridge...
burn a bridge . . .
folks crack me up . . .

Dude, if you are working for 8 bucks an hour
. . . burn the f'iing bridge bridge to the ground
you do not want to ever go back

And those places go through a lot of people, if that manager had to answer every call for references he would never get anything done

I have to say that C is a classy way to quit and also create interest in your new business. But I personally like D -- because at first, you don't even realize it. haha... that could be up for days and customers could be reading it. I'm voting D -- but it will be C. Bahahaha!

Is B giving two week notice? I wonder how many minutes he'll make it into that two week period.

Also, I like D because the Pric..., er, uh, boss probably will never see that. It may stay on that appliance for weeks befor he notices, even though everyone else, especially customers may notice. If the boss really is, then even the other employees might not "notice" either.

Picture A didn't quite but I like that.
Picture C seems like too much work to quite a job you don't like.

B seems to the best choice to me.

the objective is "who got the most votes"
people out there in the real meat world are degenerates
with that simple clue, you should know that toilet paper boy should be the clear winner.

lol...yes, and that brings to mind Boaty McBoatface -- beware of letting people vote for a favorite :D

I think A got the most votes so I choose it.

The classiest, non-burning-bridges way is C making quitting almost, "sweet."

Thanks for the re-do of this fun poll :)

C for Cake ~ though I heard that the Cake is a lie.....

They're all pretty good - I hope the classy one won but raven could have the right of it, seeing that this IS 2021 and all.

Voting for the cake.

Since I’ve only gotten ONE of these right so far, I’m probably wrong.

(DH votes for D)

Reveal:

Let’s consider what some of our awesome TB2K gals said:

I have to say that C is a classy way to quit and also create interest in your new business. But I personally like D -- because at first, you don't even realize it. haha... that could be up for days and customers could be reading it. I'm voting D -- but it will be C. Bahahaha!

as long as cakeboy did not put exlax in the frosting
for his co workers in the break room, then C

C for Cake ~ though I heard that the Cake is a lie.....

Would depend on why I quit, but would most likely do Cake regardless.

C because it is multi purpose and positive looking toward the future about a situation needing change. Building good public relations at the same time. Cake equals celebration and happiness.

I voted C, because it was indeed a classy way to resign.

Now compare that to our kick-ass TB2K men who are ready to release the F4 phantoms on their idiot bosses...
I prefer a more direct way to show my displeasure with a soon to be former employer. God knows there has been a couple where this image captures my desire to let them know how I felt.

Here is the key to getting this one right:

Within the 89 options on the website, you’ll find plenty of great testosterone-filled ideas, but you’ll only find a few sweet ones. You see where this is going, don’t you? The men split their vote while the women stayed together.

The winner, in a landslide on boredpanda.com, with a score of 707 isD0EB9017-B1F9-4E42-B9CD-BA63B04559BB.jpegCongrats to dash8200, thompson, Marthanoir,
dawgofwar10, medic38572, homecanner1, Mark Armstrong, Jackalope, Salal Sue, bev, AlaskaSue, Tristan, marsh, fairywell, domino4.

Dennis couldn’t vote for the cake, you know, with the misspellings ;) ... so next Friday we will have one right in his wheelhouse (and The Hammer’s) to help get them in the win column.

If we don’t, during the next software upgrade, Dennis might install Dominion to tabulate these votes.:kaid:

What misspelling? The baker is in the UK, so “organisation” is how they spell it. I didn’t see anything else.

What is wrong with me?!? I stated it would be C, then voted for D. I think I'm going to have to go re-evaluate my life now. But first, ...
