how do you find out the bolt pattern on a vehicle?

grandson has a flat and his donut is pretty bad.
stores are all closing and he is stuck in West Memphis.
it occurred to me the donut in my car could remedy the situation - 3.5 hour drive

will a donut from a 2008 nissan Altima fit a 2000 Honda 2000?

I'd call a shop that sells rims.

Discount Tire or such.

Might have to find one in a different time zone tho. (to be open)

Also, I've seen some of the donut spares that have multiple bolt patterns stamped in them.

Facebook marketplace for the area he is in. Might find a tire wheel combo there that could get him going

Measure the distance between lugs, if possible. Same number of lugs at same distance = probably will fit. Might want to consider the center hole size as well.

And offset. I had some old six bolt Chevy wheels that I tried on my half ton Suburban.
They matched the bolt pattern perfectly but the center of the wheel was pressed against the
disc brake and wouldn't turn.
