How would I know if I or a family member had it? Mom was tested (negative) while in the hospital recently for pneumonia, but neither DW nor I was tested.

You need a "no one" option, Dennis. My family is also a "no one" option, and may it stay that way!

Edited to add: It's a good question. It would also be a good question to ask how many think or know that they had it. At least among the members. And if they were vaxxed.

Here in my AO all is quiet. My father, north TX, reports 4 immediate family members have positive COVID tests as of this morning.

Zero, but a couple of weeks ago there were daughter, her husband, 2 young kids, his parents, his nephew, his sister and her husband, his 2 kids, total of 11 and nobody went to the hospital and all recovered other than my daughter miscarried a 4 week pregnancy.

My nephew and his family in NC rented a house for the week on the coast at Holden Beach and came back feeling feverish. The wife tested positive and is having breathing problems but he is recovering. Both had no vax. The wife and her side of the family have lung issues in their genes. I'm waiting for an update today from my brother.

They have a huge mortgage, 3 girls, one 17, one 10 who may need a liver transplant and a 7 month old newborn and now both parents are sidelined. Imo, they could have taken a few precautions like staying away from the crowds.

None that I know of.

Caveated: With all the asymptomatic cases who truly knows? I've had it and got over it, no problems. Been exposed to it since then, again nothing major. Thank you Lord!

Zero, but only because we're now over it. All four of us in the house had it a few weeks ago, and also our son's fiancee', who then passed it to her roommate.

Only worry about what you can control!

Brunswick county is a huge hotspot right now, the hospital is full to the brim. I live 6 minutes from the water at Holden Beach, our family is ZERO and we are out and about and work with the public. My daughter works at the hospital.

See, I didn’t put a “no one” because….

Wait for it………

I only wanted to hear from folks who DID HAVE IT IN THE FAMILY. I didn’t need to hear from the rest of you cuz that wasn’t my question.

Well, if you had included that option in the beginning, you wouldn't have heard from all these folks...LOL

Where's the "Not Yet" ? Ya gotta have a "Not Yet" in there. ETA, although that "Zero" at the end could technically be a not yet. It's just not as elegant.

Unless someone has had a PCR test, there is simply no way of knowing for certain, if someone has Coronavirus or not. It is possible to have Covid-19, and have no symptoms. In the UK, there are research projects, that randomly test people. The results of random testing is showing that there are many asymptomatic cases of the disease.

You could ask the question how many people have symptoms of Coronavirus. I would say and each and everyone of my family, but we are all testing negative, so it looks like a bad summer cold.

Without the results from a PCR test, it is impossible to answer this survey
