Still looking for whatever happening in meat world caused the pop in Au .... who knows.

No, he means when the FRN$ goes so low, you have to dig to find it. What MMT is doing, in other words.

Did PMs go up, or dollar down?
According to KITCO, just now:
Silver up 0.47% due to USD weakness, up 5.14% due to normal trading
Gold up 0.47% due to USD weakness, up 0.59% due to normal trading.

Paper silver can print $5, $20 or $100 for all I care. I have the same number of ounces at any print. I value my holdings in ounces and not dollars. As the FRN continues it’s slide into oblivion sooner or later everyone else will come to realize what many of us have known for years.

Physical silver coins have not been widely available at the local shop near me in central PA. Back in January, the coin store owner picked up a large amount of quarters/half dollars.
He asked if I wanted any.
I said, "Yes, I'll take them all."
Since then, he either isn't getting any, or he isn't selling any. He has silver rounds, and some Silver Eagles, but no quarters/half dollars. He has a few silver dimes.

If you sold it to an individual, possibly. If you sold it to a dealer, you would get whatever that dealer's "spread" dictates, but less than spot.

And if you keep it, you'd still have an ounce :D

You mean that thing where the $ is no longer the global reserve currency? Where the buying power of the $ goes to “crap”?
Yup! And the True Gold Bug thinks that the world will realize the error of its ways and go on a gold standard of some type.

...and the spreads can vary.

Supply/Demand is always a factor. The coin dealer wants to move product both in and out of his business. He is ok with volatility, but he needs both supply and demand.

I'm wondering if the supply side will be able to keep up.

Some one took the day off and his replacement wasn't as good a pushing down prices.

That usually happens on Friday :D

Pride comes before the fall.....Pride month ended.
What will it be Jan 1? Forty five dollars or higher is my guess. If it's ever gonna go, it will be after the chaos of this next election and the realities of the worlds economic foundation, let alone just ours. Then expect it to climb for a period of time, till there's no one who can buy it and real tangible items prove their weight in gold.

Just picked up a few more ounces. I've been collecting the Envela covid bars and I totally neglected to purchase the July version. Just picked up my 2 and instead of the $230-$235 I should have paid, I ended up paying $260 each. Oops.

Check out MONEX Live Prices:

Monex is reporting a slightly higher price than Kitco. Do you happen to know what the reasoning behind that is? I've always looked to Kitco for my silver spot price.

I do not know, but can confirm the dealers I know use Kitco.

Monex is the only dealer I know that publishes prices of Physical as well as the mythical Spot prices.

Gotcha'. That's good to hear. I'll keep looking to Kitco then, but it is nice to have another resource to compare them to. Cheers!

Do they solicit?

They ANNOY. At least they did years ago.

On the other hand, if you are lonely ... :D

What do you think about their posted prices? How reliable are their prices of physical vs. monitoring ebay, etc.?
