I go with B....he just doesn't strike me as someone who would be carrying anywhere, let alone in church.

I'm voting C. I bet B did stop a shooting because (this is the story I'm imagining in my head...) I think someone from the church bought him that shirt because he is their hero. And I don't think the baby is his, maybe he saved the baby's life?? -- Yes, I can get creative! haha
You may be on to something. I almost feel like I've seen that picture before, but for the life of me, I can't recall the context.

Reveal:

If you selected “A,” 41BE69BE-F6FE-4F42-8C39-FC0C6734F786.jpeg say hello to Jack Wilson of White Settlement, Texas. Back in 2019, when a perp with body armor under a trench coat took out a shotgun and killed 2 people, Jack fired one well-placed head shot to stop the shooter. He saved many innocents that day.

If you selected “C,” 608DA491-0ABB-4801-8152-0E33DDE9BF77.jpeg say hello to Stephen Willeford of Sutherland Springs, Texas. A body-armoured perp at First Baptist unfortunately killed 27 people before Stephen hit him with two rounds (one leg, one side) which caused the perp to flee and eventually be apprehended by police in 2017.

If you selected “B,” and 62.3% did 686997FF-A725-4F53-BEC8-BCE7FEC44ADB.jpeg say hello to Robert Engle. He stopped the perp in 2017 at Burnette Chapel Church of Christ in Antioch, Tennessee. After the perp killed one in the parking lot, Mr. Engle rushed to the door where he “physically engaged” the man with the gun. As they wrestled, the gun discharged into the bad guy’s chest. Engle then retrieved his own gun from his car and guarded the wounded perp until police arrived. Engle later received the nation’s highest civilian award, the Citizen Honors Act of Courage Award.

That means, congrats to NCGirl, Macgyver, Capt. Eddie, danielsga, dawgofwar10, Knighttemplar, Repairman-Jack, Jaybird, Satanta, Marthanoir, Jackpine Savage, and Emict.

You selected “D” DB118D63-8913-4E46-B156-3927895778DE.jpeg Say hello to Will, from Rich’s Gun Shop in Donald, Oregon.

Well crap. Just saw the reveal after I posted.

Congrats, briches. You got it. Keep that intuition going in the right direction. It’s ok to post after the reveal. It’s just for fun.

Should we mention our friends (cough, Dennis...cough, The Hammer...cough, cough jward) who are still on their bad luck streaks? :chg:

Saved, to glorify God.
I was a little stunned by "B" because he looks just like my grandson Sam, who just got back from a National Guard stint, (short hair) is about the exact same age. Build, hair color, same, no tats, glasses check, just had a mixed race daughter a few months ago.

I have only seen him twice for a few minutes each time, in the last few years and have no photos of him so it's no wonder I'm iffy about it. He lives here in the same small town.

:: sigh :: I've made it "my brand" to be wrong bout these things. By that reasoning, I'm actually doing quite well, no?
..sides, we get better seating and consolation snacks o'er here on my side o' the room : )~

I will say in all seriousness I later blew up the pic and saw mr. A's eyes. :: sad eyes o' me own :: It's clear he carries scars that, though they may be from other experiences, run deep. : (

Quick psychological point:

The person who is about to commit an act of violent force, whether a bad guy committing a crime or a good guy rising up to stop him, will likely be “white faced” rather than “red faced.”

There are psychological reasons for this, but the important thing is to remember it as part of our situational awareness. It is usually not the loud, blustery one who is ready to go off. More likely it’ll be the one with the blood drained from their face. That’s the one to watch.

I'll go with what looks like the obvious one, B. Of course since it's so obvious, there's no doubt that I'm wrong lol.
Well, it's probably a double head fake.

It's obvious that it's B, but this is a test, so the obvious is probably wrong, but then the tester, knows you will think the obvious that it is obvious that it's B and won't pick the obvious so it really is the obvious answer.

Just stating the obvious.

I'll go with the baby, well, because it is......obvious.

Hey, I voted D yesterday.

Congrats, Chicken Mama. Good job.

I’ve been posting the polls under the privacy setting, so we haven’t been able to see who voted by just the poll alone. I could change that setting, but I like when people post their choice on the thread too because it helps keep the thread from dropping quickly off the front page.

The polls have been up on Fridays with the reveals early on Saturdays.

I could change the settings?

I knew b stopped a church shooting, for some reason I actually thought he was the pastor.

Of course I was wrong again. It's starting to be so bad, you can set your watch by it... :D

It is a statistical anomaly for sure.

Maybe deductive reasoning is a liability on these? How does one activate one’s intuition? Or to put it in Carl Jung’s terminology, how does one become synchronized with an unknown truth?

I’m not helping, am I? :smashblue::strs:
