Herbal Herbal Information

As I get older, and want to pull out of the normal "medical system" due to well... various reasons, I am finding that I want to turn more toward natural remedies if I can. I don't want to be forced to see a doc cause I have a sore throat for example. Anyway, I purchased a book The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies and this morning I received an email with a link to a site that has tons of information, so I thought I would pass it along.

Hope you find this interesting, if not helpful.

Thanks Donna, I feel the same way you do. I'm fighting a sore throat now. Took Ivermectin yesterday, so no runny nose, thankfully.

I didn't find that one as helpful, and it seemed repetitive of her first one, but I only briefly skimmed it.

I love watching videos and learning "hands on" remedies and applications for herbal treatments. My latest "find" is Heidi and her youtube videos from Rain Country. Here is the latest one I have watched, just to get you started, but she has lots more., run time on this one is about 10 minutes, but they vary.

I have watched a lot of her videos, and she is one of the reasons I am looking into herbal medicines. Saying that, there are a few other channels and one lady (can't remember her name right now), is beginning to teach. I have thought about taking her class.

Anyway, no matter what, I am starting to gather what I consider beneficial herbs/plants to grow. My issue is ones that like boggy/watery areas, as I get very dry at times.

Oh please post about your herbal journey. I am right there with you. In the late '90's I had one of everything. I am now re-reading notes and putting together a plan for a "healing garden" and learning about native plants here in my area--new area to me. Found watercress down by the creek!

I don't know if she's on YouTube, but Lisa Ganora is on FB. She was one of my instructors and she is brilliant. Not a Trump fan, but herbally and with chemistry, she is just brilliant.
