From Marsh’s post #52,036 from the main (long) Covid19 thread:

Just a heads up, but I will be unable to continue to post videos on this thread as of late next week...

Meandk, Marsh posts the link and, I think, the title and summary. For YouTube links, I think the summary or description is just below the video. When you post the video, I’m not sure if that includes the description or if that needs to be copied and pasted. Confusing.

Maybe PM Marsh for details.

I hope you’ll be able to help out. And I hope others can step in as well.

On TB every waking moment
You post the link and the run time by copy and paste. Then you copy the title and the part of the description that is not about subscribing or other forums and paste it below the link. (You may have to click on "show more." ) I do some bit of clean up, but you don't have to.

If you decided to regularly follow and post one, you would click on the red "subscribe" button.

A little bell will appear. Click on it and then click on "all."Capture3.JPG

When you pull up Youtube, go up to the far right corner to the bell and click on it. A chronological "clickable" list of all your subscribed channels that have posted something will popup.

I really don’t understand this, why not just post a list of informative sites (as above) and then people can check them for updates if they wish.

If you give them the list and they can’t even be bothered to subscribe or look then they probably are not gonna spend 30 minutes even watching one of those videos

It really seems like you are spending a lot of time duplicating YouTubes subscribe feature (which is a key part of how YouTube calculates revenue for the video poster)

ESFP adrift in INTJ sea
SmithJ, as for me. there is a VERY BIG difference in saying "Here is a list of sources you should add to your daily scan."
and "Here, I've curated a series of video and text articles showing where we are today in this."

The first is of minimal use as I already have a series of sites that I scan almost every day, at least twice a day (yes I have no life).

The second IS useful so I don't need to get scrambled in the weeds with multiple useless to me OTHER vids n articles that are not useful.

Update: I will be unable to post the videos from the “Medical” category like I said I would. I’m very sorry, but I’ve had some issues come up this week and just can’t commit to anything right now.

Again, many thanks to Marsh, HeliobasDisciple, Mixin, Daniel Boone, and the numerous other posters! Y’all rock!
