Heads-up of VoIP spam

Heads-up: there's bad news about another up & coming form a spam hitting VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) users. As more people convert to an Internet based telephone service, the problem is likely to escalate. Unfortunately the National Do-Not-Call list does not apply to VoIP telephone systems.

Just wanted to let y'all know.

Thanks, I hadn't heard of that yet. I was thinking of getting VoIP too. Could you elaborate on the issue? I'm guessing that scumbags can use software to automatically dial unlimited VoIP phones extremely fast, and are not limited to the one-call-at-a-time approach used over conventional phone lines? And are basically limited to their CPU power and bandwidth? Yikes, that could be bad... very bad... if I got as many voice spams per day as I did email spams, I would never even pay for a phone line and would just cancel it.
