Alabama goes on stay at home at 5 PM Saturday. Only essential travel allowed. Curfew 10 PM to 5 AM. (law, not voluntary)

I have no clue why they lowed the deaths down by one, not a bad thing if it had been in error earlier, but probably someone from out of state or country

Yeah, I was really glad they added that info; very important. It doesn't tell us how many critical, etc, but still very good info.

With that info we can extrapolate fairly well how long the virus has been in the wild in the state. Also we will gain the knowledge of how virulent it is here.

Deaths and confirmed rose, but hospitalizations didn't, so I assume (maybe incorrectly) that they are testing all people who die, or at least the ones that might have been sick but not previously tested to see if they had it?

So, my daughter is having a hard time finding a place for my grandson to be tested.
The local hospital is only testing those that are actually being hospitalized or need to be.
The county health department is only testing old people and disabled people.
The drive thru place she called (over 50 miles from her house) didn't have any more test kits.
Some of the other locations, he is not sick enough yet (no respiratory distress and fever hasn't hit over 103 or whatever temp they reqruired.)
I gave her some more locations and numbers, but many are not testing on weekends.

My doctor sent me to be tested again. She is convinced the first test was somehow wrong. But the testing center wouldn't do the test. A friend has all the early symptoms, including the fever, as well as her daughter but they refused to test until she mentioned that her son was immuno-compromised. And we are in the early stages here.

You know, what does it REALLY mean when they say x number died of illness? Had assumed they meant covid. But that’s not stated on the chart. Is it somewhere else in the information as to what “died from illness” means? I mean otherwise I’m only making an assumption. (Or that’s how I see it). I am not seeing it anywhere, but on iPhone and half blind anyway...
