Misc Has anybody read The Collapse by Jeff Stanfield?

My recommendation is everyone should read this book. It is really excellent and another view of what the US might descend into one day.

My question is: does anyone know Jeff Stanfield? Does he intend to write a sequel to this book? It is excellent and can be a stand alone book but kind of ends with a question or a serious situation that will need to be addressed. I sure would like to read volume II, if anyone knows if one is intended.

Thanks for the heads-up and knowing something is not resolved in the end. I'll hold off for a year or two to make sure this isn't part of a sequel.

I HATE sequels. I did it w/Stephen King and The Dark Tower, swore I would never do it again until someone handed me A Game of Thrones and told me I would enjoy it. I was furious it was a multi-sequel and like King, I had to wait YEARS for 4 more books to come out.......and George Martin still hasn't finished it!

It looks like it came out in 2006, so there probably isn't a sequel. If there is, I can't find it. But if you do want to read it, Amazon has it for 6.50 used.
