Shortages of many items ramping up.
Market IS crashing.
Rumors of cash being limited.
Travel bans (think of the HUGE downstream effect of this)
Hospitals not really prepared.
Sports seasons cancelled
Oil nearly sub $30?!

And all of this AT ONCE.

My other concern is the whiplash effect when it all comes back around.

Not freaking, just trying to read the tea leaves a bit.

We're just weeks out of moving to da house in the woods....the economy/world needs to hold on a bit longer.

This is life altering. We actually don't even know all the facts about this virus.

Look how China has handled this, they may actually stop the spread in their country while not telling the rest of the world any details, and may quickly rise as the single super power when this is over.

Life on our planet will be different from now on.

The US will be drastically different in a short time.

Prepare your minds for the new shift that has started.

Be smart. Try not to stress as life as we know it drastically changes.

The calm and prepared mind wins.

Try to see yourself as surviving this and everything that comes with it.

We have no idea what happens tomorrow, next week, next month. Accept that everything will change.

Pray, Pray, Pray. Prayers are answered. Be specific. Believe and receive.

I'm looking at what people are saying on the 'net as well as tv but then I'm out working in public and while there are a few people exhibiting the heebee jeebees, nothing like the people are claiming is out there. Now the universities are shutting down/going online for two or three weeks. And yet the CFR for people in that age bracket barely registers.

There's some kwazy wabbits running the hamster wheels right now. Even the stock market has been a long expected correction, we just didn't know it was going to be politically motivated. Though I will say that some people here have suggested it in the past.

People need to grab some oxygen before their brain cells start atrophying.

If our economy was truly healthy, our political class not evil, and we made our medical supplies in America, this would just be a minor speed bump. Instead, this is pushing over dominoes. Teotwawki type dominoes. I have no clue what this country will look like in July.

this is also global. A complete collapse in global trade, travel, and credit.

Just checking in real quick. Many of you know I work in the Hotel Industry. LOTS of cancellations related the KungFlu situation. These are folks that mostly travel from the Eastern part of the U.S. but we honestly get people from all over the country/world. Dollywood opening this weekend. I expect a confirmed case in my A.O. any day now.

This is what is making it real now for Mr. average Joe six pack. When his professional sports teams are getting shut down for the season it’s a slap across the face. For most people it’s not going to be the virus but the reaction of the herd. Don’t be part of the herd.

What percentage would you say are canceling?

I can tell you that my time at airports yesterday was an eye opener. Things are pretty quiet in the airports.
