PRYR RQST Going in for a heart cath in the AM

Imrik I don't want to down play this but I'm one of those who enjoys watching such procedures from the middle of the 3-ring circus healthcare is today. Had two of these and watched on the screen as the probes went in. Also watched two lens replacements; fuzzy as all get out until the new units were installed.

Unless you've got significant symptoms of impending cardiac events, I think you're OK. Providers are so Mal-practice aware these days, I seriously doubt you'd be headed to the cath lab if there was any possibility of real issues.

Besides, if I was worried about an impending cardiac event, I think I'd rather have that occur down the hall from where someone competent could intervene than 25-50 miles from an ER.

All the best and let us know how it goes. I'll get my DW & SIL to put in a word; I think they have an inside track because I'm still functional and probably shouldn't be.
