In the Pacific during WW2, Army troops were always better supplied then Marine Troops. Anything from non-canned food to trucks to tents to movies were always in short supply. To combat this problem, Marines created a Wealth Distributions system that would transfer surplus Army supplies that were deemed excessive into the Marine Supply System, usually at the Battalion or lower level.

There should be an "Again" on the end of that statement.
Because if you're going through your 70's now, you went through them earlier but it was the 1970's.
My first 70's was graduating from HS - 1970
graduating for junior college (now called a community college) - 1972
Joined the Army in 1972-1975
Got married in 1976
First son (which ended sleep) 1977
2nd son 1978
Be married to the same woman for 50 years next year- 74
A lot more aches and pains.
More into "stay off the grass".
On a first name basis with my doctors.
