Yes, potatoes can provide enough light to light up an LED light.

Volunteer to judge an elementary school science fair.

Any school’s fair will do.

I judge them for the local elementary school each spring.

And I swear - at least half of the 4th, 5th and 6 th graders submit their own version of a potato powering a light bulb.
