ADMIN FUNDRAISER - where we’re at and why I’ve been so slow

Who wojld read what I wrote? Seriously.
US, for starters! And then look how many folks read the initial TB2000 books!

Or maybe you could write it as a collection of stories of the TB family, Lewis-Grizzard or Ludlow Porch (Lewis' 1/2 brother)-style, with humorous stories of what it was like to be "papa" over a forum like TB2K.

(If you're not familiar with Lewis Grizzard or Ludlow Porch, go to the links below--just reading their book / chapter titles alone will crack you up:)
Lewis Grizzard: Lewis Grizzard - Book Series In Order
Ludlow Porch: Amazon.com

You could call it "Herding Cats"--with subtitle "Reminiscences of Reluctant Forum-Host"

ETA-- I like Sacajawea's sub-title better-- "Memoirs of a curmudgeonly forum owner"

You could write about -

*how you got into this forum (& why)
*how you became its owner (& why)
*those who helped you get started & helped keep the forum going
*how the dogs helped you keep your sanity (I can see perfect chapter title--"If dogs could be forum members, I wouldn't need people" or something to that effect)
*your favorite forum members / experiences with same
*your funniest forum members / experiences with same
*your worst forum members
*best times running a forum
*worst times running a forum
*why a place like TB2K matters

I love the idea of writing a book, but fictionalize it and it has to have a comedic bent, (or else it would be too depressing to read), while adding your real life trials into it. You could write it under a pseudonym!

Call it,...

The Insane Asylum
Threadbare: Holding It Together When Everything Unravels
Ban Hammer Blues: Tales of Trolls, Tears, and a Crumbling Life
Herding Sociopaths: My Life as Internet Janitor-in-Chief
A Series of Unfortunate Posts
Post Traumatic Forum Disorder
Clickbait Widowmaker: Surviving Users, Exes, and Existential Dread
Moderating the Apocalypse: One Man’s Battle with Ego and Entropy
Trolls in the Attic: Forum Follies and Personal Ruins
Unbanned and Unhinged: Laughing My Way Through the Wreckage
Keyboard Warriors and Other Ex-Wives
Butt-Hurt Chronicles: Moderating Madness While My World Burned

(or something), about the life of a prepper and political forum owner, trying to maintain his personal life while "herding insane, opinionated cats" (members on the forum).

Like if you wanted to write about you marriage and the breakup of that, make it like you fell in love with one of the members who had 'red flag signals' in all of her posts, but you were memorized by whatever attracted you and disregarded the red flags. Then take your life from there to becoming a forum owner and give each of us members fictional user names, and go into all the personality styles and $hit fits you and the various admins had/have to deal with and fights you had to break up along with real life traumas that hit as to try to maintain sanity Oh yea! You could have the betraying of UB's forum (but give them a different name like "$hit starters forum" b/c you don't want to give them any publicity), and the drama of "he who shall not be named." Heck Dannis, you have so many true stories that you're sitting on a BEST SELLER!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE your chapter titles!!!

I wrote one and I think, outside of some members here, around 10 people have read it.

But, the feeling of accomplishing that feat will give you a lot of satisfaction and who knows, you might help/entertain someone without knowing. It is a unique subject and I bet computer/engineering geeks would enjoy it.

He could call it … The Prepper Board Chronicles … The Good And Bad.
