No. Lawmakers appear not to have noticed binary triggers (yet). I have two on ARs. I can't imagine one on a .22, but hey, it might be fun.

And on a .22 is a good idea. "Comparatively" cheap these days, and it lays down a LOT of lead in no time flat. Something good and lightweight for ladies in the home-someone comes in and the little missus could dump a whole lot of lead in a burglar in no time flat.
Going larger, I can see an AKM with one of these triggers on it-and a drum mag attached. Serious hurt going downrange.

I have a Chiappa .22LR upper that I sometimes pair with my Franklin binary lower. It's definitely fun, and quite a lot more economical than doing the same mag dumps with 5.56.

It's funny - I'm seriously considering selling my double action wheel gun to "upgrade" to a single action. Sort of going in the opposite direction of this.
Look at the price of a Giesele trigger group by comparison. And the binary trigger gives you effectively full-auto rate of fire without having to pay $20,000 for a full auto.

For the ladies- but it is so much nicer to have a big gun with a barrel about the size of a 55 gallon drum for the perp to stare into, total cold, and know your training is going to get you through. Not very many perps shrink from a .22, even though it tends to tumble and scramble things nicely.
I can fan the hammer on a .45acp about that fast. And dump them in a very small diameter.

Well, actually they have. The bump stock ban was very carefully worded to not include binary triggers.
Well, it’s likely that the NRA wrote that bill. Lawmakers know less about guns than they do particle physics.
Which is why I got mine already. Folks should be doing the same IMO.
