While that is true, and makes for some great graphics and meme's the motivation behind the Republican vote was to gain votes from the black's, which they did and kept until AG Bobby Kennedy a Democrat, told the African-Americans that he would prosecute the MLK's killer to the full extent of the law. It was never about equality.

That changed every thing with the black vote.

Similar to what the Dems are now doing on the southern border.

And might even be what they have in store for Jan. 6th sympathizers, which was for the Rep. Lincoln/Johnson admin to take away the voting rights of anyone who participated in the Civil War on the Confererate side. Even though their state was back in full acceptance and seated in Congress. Meaning the Rep. always had the votes to pass anything. Because they knew allowing the CW confederate vets to vote, they would vote dem.

BTW the 13th was passed while a majority of Southern states were still not seated in Congress. There was a big process to being allowed back into the Union, and most had not fulfilled that process by the time the vote took place.

Don't take any offence to my post. Cuz it's still a good meme.

They don't fly in; they fly to Poland and take a train into Kiev. Since most of the Russian forces are in eastern Ukraine, they get in relatively easily.
