Kirk Bangstad, owner of Minocqua Brewing Company, previously posted that he would give away free beer the day President Trump d*es. It was the latest in his ongoing string of violent enticements against conservatives.
The Wisconsin Department of Revenue has now revoked the company’s brewer’s permit, effective August 4, after seizing canned beer that was transported from Illinois without the required permits or payment of state taxes.
Bangstad has a history of legal trouble, including charges of criminal defamation, harassment, and disorderly conduct.
He has been interviewed by the FBI and Secret Service over comments related to violence against the president.
He is vowing to fight the revocation and claims politics is behind it. The state says the action is about repeated alcohol and tax violations.
A business owner who publicly celebrated the idea of the president’s death is now losing his license to sell alcohol. Actions have consequences.
