According to recent reports:
* Geroni created a GoFundMe to help cover his wife’s legal expenses after she was arrested and later detained by ICE.
* The GoFundMe was removed by the platform because it determined the fundraiser violated its policy against raising money for people accused of violent crimes. At the time it was removed, it had reportedly raised nearly $4,500 toward a $9,000 goal.
* Geroni claimed the fundraiser was taken down after it was mass-reported by political opponents, although GoFundMe cited its policy as the reason for the removal.
* After the GoFundMe was removed, a new fundraising campaign was reportedly launched on GiveSendGo to help pay for Tracey’s legal defense and immigration case.
* In TikTok videos and interviews, Geroni has described the incident as being taken out of context, referred to it as a “nothingburger,” and said his priority is his wife’s safety, regardless of whether she is deported to Canada.

Only one I can think of is Bangladesh they didn’t send money but they sent a ship full of burlap and jute twine I remember when I was younger and we had had severe floods. And every one remarked on it because nobody else even sent a card.
