You got expelled from Sunday School too?!?
I thought it was just me.

:lkick:
I got suspended from Kindergarten for two days. Dragged a small 3 wheel bike up a slide and drove down the slide and ran into another student. And then - In first grade the old nun ( probable 20 yrs old ) put me in the cloak room for whatever I did. It was during winter, and I proceeded to clip everyones rubber boots together ( except mine ).

If you are old enough you remember the metal clip rubber boots to put over your shoes.

Was let out at some point - Picture the end of day chaos as kids were pulling and fighting to get their boots.
Mine were good to go. My dad actually laughed when told by my mon. She was not happy! :lkick:

There were no Christian’s during Christ’s time.

After the crucification and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Christianity came into existence and is the major religion on our earth.

The first ones that followed Jesus were His apostles and disciples. The Jesus sect was first call Christians in Antioch is what the Bible says. In the book of Acts ch. 11.

I stand by my statement.

Christianity was first practiced in the
1st century CE (approximately 30–33 CE) in Jerusalem. It began as a small, predominantly Jewish sect focused on the teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, spreading rapidly through the Roman Empire as a grassroots movement.

Key details about the early practice of Christianity include:
  • Initial Context: Emerging from Jewish traditions in Roman-occupied Judea, early followers were sometimes known as "The Way".
  • The First Followers: The movement grew after Jesus's death, with the day of Pentecost often cited as a key starting point.
  • Spread: Early Christians, such as Paul of Tarsus, spread the faith throughout Asia Minor, Europe, and North Africa.
  • Worship Style: Early gatherings often took place in private homes (house churches).
  • Persecution and Recognition: Early Christians faced significant persecution, but the faith grew to roughly a million adherents by the 3rd century before being legalized by Constantine the Great in 313 CE.
While Jesus lived in the 1st century, experts note that Christianity developed as a distinct religion in the years following his death.
