My sister Sheila is having a pet scan tomorrow after something was seen in her lungs. She will get results next week. She is 65 and lives alone. For anyone who would say a prayer for her, I would appreciate it. She is scared.

Prayers sent and this is yet another example of why we should all work to be at peace with the certainty of death. I don't say this in any condescending manner - I have my fears, too - but only so that people are more at peace with the one universal certainty; death.

Find your solace in God and your own strength.

I've known Christians facing death, as well as atheists and those of other religions. Virtually all of them experience fear to one degree or another.
