For 20 years I've been using a family recipe for HOT CHOCOLATE MIX....it was good but not great. I played around with it until we came up with this one and it is terrific.

HOT CHOCOLATE MIX
2 lbs.(about 9 C.) powdered sugar
4 C. unsweetened cocoa powder
20C. nonfat dry milk powder (16 qt. pkg.)
8 oz jar plain non-dairy creamer
8 oz. jar french vanilla non-dairy creamer
3 3oz. pkg. instant chocolate fudge pudding mix

Blend cocoa and sugar until mixed.
Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well.

For Serving: 1/3 mix into mug with 3/4 c. boiling water. May top with marshmallows or whipped cream.

***I dehydrate chopped mini-marshmallows to include in my mix.

Makes about 31 cups. ENJOY!

That's quite a recipe, and it sounds really tasty.
I am not quite that energetic though.

Here's mine

1 Hershey's Chocolate Bar
I cup of hot milk
A few mini marshmallows

Add the bar to the milk and stir.
Add a few marshmallows on top and drink.

Sounds quick and easy Hoosier but candy bars don't seem to last long enough in this house to add to any recipe unless I make this in my car in the grocery store parking lot. LOL
The recipe seems like alot but it also makes about 100 cups of Hot Chocolate mix at one time so that all you have to do is add hot water to the mix, stir and drink.

My fave hot cocoa mix is way simple. I don't like foo-foo tastes so this works for us. Of course, I multiply it by 1000 and get enough for the whole winter.

3 cups dry milk
1/2 cup cocoa
3/4 cup sugar

Voila!
