Prep Genrl Food Dehydrators

I've been trying to dehydrate cucumbers for going on three days and it usually takes less than a day. I'm concerned that the power outage on and off may have damages my Excalibur 9 tray dehydrator.

When I bought this one several years ago I went straight to the Excalibur website. The are mostly out of stock except for one, which looks to be like the one I already have. Its 299.00 plus tax, so I bit the bullet and ordered it. I dehydrate food all the time and if I did not have one I would consider it a big loss in my food prep equipment.

The shipping was free. Don't know yet how long the delivery will take.

God is good all the time.

I bought a dehydrator this Summer and am running it almost non-stop. I wish I had bought one years ago. I’ve been storing everything in canning jars with oxygen absorbers after conditioning for a week. I hope they last a while.

I've been vacuum sealing my product, at least 5 cases of quarts of various kinds of vegetables. I love using my dehydrator and to think I had it for several years before I ever used it. I pick up a few bagged vegetables every time I go to the store.
