Fish Oil .... I know nothing about it. What should I be looking for? Do they make one that tastes GOOD? Favorite kind? Help!

I take it in capsules too. I use Carlson brand I bought online at Swanson Vitamins. I am afraid to use the cheap stuff. It seems to have alot of health benefits.

Take about 2000 mg omega 3 per day and don't waste your time with omega 6 and 9. The EPA and DHA are antiinflammatory and can help with reducing heart disease, dry eye, and pain. The better omega 3 formulations have better gel caps that do not dissolve immediately in your stomach and give you a fishy taste. Try some samples and go from there.

I bought mine from Amazon. I have started taking them and I have not had any fishy taste!! I also read the 3-6-9 ones were not good.

You have to be very careful on what brand you take as many of them have mercury in them. I go to an alternative health professional and he has tested several that I bought and they have had mercury in them. The one he recommends and the one that we use is made by Barleans and can be bought at any health food store. It is a cream type and comes in delicious flavors. It is called Omega Swirl and we use the pure fish oil flavors that are lemon and mango peach. Other flavors have some flax in them which I am sensitive to.

I take a large Omega 3 capsul every day. I've never had a fishy taste. I buy the Health Balance super concentrate at Costco.EPA400, DHA 200.
