Sadly, there is no such thing.

Sadly, your ancestors betrayed your Elder Troth. So did mine, but I found the way back.
My way is my way and you are not going to tell me otherwise. Period. The First Amendment gives the right to choose my words and my Gods. You chose yours. I chose mine. This will not be settled here, so please have a bit of decorum and leave it lie.

Of course.

I did what I had to. Nothing else is asked or required. Lie it shall.

I have a friend who is a professor at Delgado in NOLA. This coming week they are implementing a mask mandate. He's tenured but is seriously considering leaving. This is a second career for him and he loves teaching, but he's had enough. Imagine being masked and trying to lecture a room full of students who are fiddling with their masks and can't hear him. The evidence clearly shows mask mandates did little to nothing other than cause anxiety, social adjustment issues, and put students already performing below par even further back.

Is it covid? Or is it the lack of bus drivers for schools?
This is currently a HUGE problem nationwide. Some kids don’t get home until 9-10pm due to multiple bus runns with too few buses. Teachers being asked to drive buses after a ”crash” course on how to run them.

We’d be hearing nothing about covid if it were not an election year upcoming

It's not easy to obtain the school bus license.

To obtain the school bus and passenger endorsements you must pass the CDL school bus knowledge test, passenger knowledge test, school bus endorsement entry-level driver training (ELDT), and a pre-trip, skills, and a driving test in a school bus representative of the class of vehicle you wish to operate with the license.

The driver's training portion is at least a two week course.
Then the driver's have to take the 17+ hour STOP class for beginners.
Then take at least a three hour yearly class.

The pay sucks, many of the kids have behavioral issues and the the hours suck.

The driver's get up very early in the morning, drive the morning route and then go home
and maybe take a nap. Then it's back at school for the afternoon route where the kids are
running absolutely wild. Driving a school bus really screws up the entire day.

Most of the local school bus drivers are retired people working a part time job.
Many don't stay because of the wild kids, poor pay and poor backing from some highly paid
school administrators.

The key to retaining school bus drivers is, some reasonable pay and monitors on all the buses.

Many of the local buses are now 84 passengers since they continue to combine routes because
of driver's quitting.

Most of the kids do not fear the bus drivers.
