Drinks Expired shelf stable milk

I use shelf stable coconut milk (So Delicious). So far the most it suffers from is separation. A good shaking takes care of it. But can't tell you on regular or soy.

I have a bunch of powdered milk. dump the shelf stable cartons as they we all clumped up.
I have discovered that Nido is impressive. Mom made powdered milk when we were kids. I hated the stuff so I was really reluctant. But Nido works. At least it works in mixed drinks and cooking. I don't drink milk straight.

I would think the fats in any milk, dry or wet would be rancid after 10 years. They are different than canned veggies which have little fat.

I know nuts go rancid because of fats as well.

If it were me, I'd toss 'em.

Yeah... I just don't see them being safe or edible after 10 years. "Shelf stable"packaging realky isn't meant for long term storage, unlike glass jars or cans.
