CHAT Dr Strange movie

Wanted a break from election coverage (which I seem to be drawn to like a bug to a bug zapper) and went to see the new Dr strange movie.

Ok, part are really weird however I think it is one of the best Marvel movies. I never was a Dr Strange reader so I really can not comment on how closely it follows the comic or original story. There was a good bit of humor in the movie as well as action.

I recommend.

I saw it Friday night in 3d. It was visually very interesting, but has a lot of occult in it. Raised my eyebrows a little after viewing all that #spiritcooking stuff this weekend...might not take children to the movie...

I know very little about Dr Strange except the movie..

Hognutz, hard for me to say, I have a 6 year old and I know he is too young - I can not even get him to sit through star wars and that movie was all I was about at his age. If they have seen other marvel movies I think you would be fine

I would say if he is good with the other Marvel movies (Cap America, Iron Man, Thor, Avengers and Ant-Man) He should be OK with it also.

As an old school comic nerd, I loved it. For me, seeing Marvel making these movies, and doing so well at them, is like a childhood dream come true.

Now if only DC could get their ducks in a row *shakes head sadly*.

I saw it with my wife this past week as well. I will agree that I found it Strange but I wasn't my favorite Marvel movie. It was OK, I prefer Captain America, Antman and Guardians movies

That movie captured perfectly the stuff that goes on in the surgical theater of operations. Even some of the doctor behavior was spot on too...

Guardians of the galaxy was great and I was really surprised how much I liked Ant man. I was not excited at all about Ant man and waited until after it was released for sale before watching. It was great.

The Anti - Christ will also have supernatural powers. Just saw the movie trailer.
