Dr Kerryn Phelps reveals ‘devastating’ Covid vaccine injury, says doctors have been ‘censored’

Dr Kerryn Phelps has broken her silence about a “devastating” Covid vaccine injury, slamming regulators for “censoring” public discussion with “threats” to doctors.

EXCLUSIVE

Former federal MP Dr Kerryn Phelps has revealed she and her wife both suffered serious and ongoing injures from Covid vaccines, while suggesting the true rate of adverse events is far higher than acknowledged due to underreporting and “threats” from medical regulators.

In an explosive submission to Parliament’s Long Covid inquiry, the former Australian Medical Association (AMA) president has broken her silence about the “devastating” experience — emerging as the most prominent public health figure in the country to speak up about the taboo subject.

“This is an issue that I have witnessed first-hand with my wife who suffered a severe neurological reaction to her first Pfizer vaccine within minutes, including burning face and gums, paraesethesiae, and numb hands and feet, while under observation by myself, another doctor and a registered nurse at the time of immunisation,” the 65-year-old said.

“I continue to observe the devastating effects a year-and-a-half later with the addition of fatigue and additional neurological symptoms including nerve pains, altered sense of smell, visual disturbance and musculoskeletal inflammation. The diagnosis and causation has been confirmed by several specialists who have told me that they have seen ‘a lot’ of patients in a similar situation.”

Dr Phelps married former primary school teacher Jackie Stricker-Phelps in 1998.

Australian government hasn’t admitted vaccines are a dangerous poison

3 August 2021

What was claimed

The Australian government has admitted Covid-19 vaccines are a poison.

Our verdict

Under Western Australian legislation, vaccines (alongside medicines such as paracetamol) are classed as poisons. This is just a legal definition, and does not mean the government is saying they are dangerous or planning to poison people.

A video shared on Facebook from video hosting platform Bitchute claims to show that the Australian government has admitted that Covid-19 vaccines are a poison.
The first part of the video refers to documentation on a state government website, which sets out legislation allowing employees of the Australian Defence Force to administer the Covid-19 vaccines. This document is from the Government of Western Australia, rather than the Australian federal government.
One of the headings on this document reads “authorisation to supply or administer a poison”, with the word appearing in several other places throughout the text. The narrator of the video suggests that officials have used the word “poison” “to cover their butts… in case people get hurt”.

Later, the narrator points to Western Australia’s Public Health Act 2016, Section 197 of which states that the “chief health officer may authorise persons to administer, manufacture, supply or prescribe poisons”.

They then point to the first definition of the word “poison” on Google, which states: “A substance that is capable of causing the illness or death of a living organism when introduced or absorbed.” The narrator describes this as “medical tyranny”, and says it gives officials “the ability to poison citizens”.

But, as other fact checkers have previously written, the term “poison” isn’t defined this way in Australian legislation. In this context, “poisons” relate not only to the dangerous substances we might usually associate with the word, but also medicines such as paracetamol and ibuprofen.

Dr Marco Rizzi, specialist in medical law at the University of Western Australia, told Reuters: “Poison is a generic term that includes what the general public understands to be a poison, but extends to over-the-counter medicines and prescription medicines.”

The person narrating the video also states that the documents couldn’t be downloaded, suggesting that the state government may have purposefully taken it down and “made it a secret document” as part of a cover-up.
At the time of writing. Full Fact was able to view both the specific section on Covid-19 vaccines and the Public Health Act 2016 in full on the Government of Western Australia’s site.

Kerryn Phelps, Jackie Strickie-Phelps: Doctor reveals she and wife suffered Pfizer vaccine injuries

Story by David Southwell For Daily Mail Australia • Monday

Former federal MP and high-profile medic Dr Kerryn Phelps says both she and her wife have suffered vaccine injuries from their Covid jabs - and claimed regulators are censoring discussion on the topic.

Dr Phelps, the one-time president of the Australian Medical Association, made the revelation in a submission to a Senate inquiry on Long Covid, which is looking into the lingering effects of the virus that some have claimed are debilitating.
According to Dr Phelps, her wife Jackie Stricker-Phelps 'suffered a severe neurological reaction to her first Pfizer vaccine within minutes'.

Dr Phelps said her partner's symptoms included burning face and gums, prickling sensations and numb hands and feet, which were also observed by an attending doctor and nurse.

'I continue to observe the devastating effects a year-and-a-half later with the addition of fatigue and additional neurological symptoms including nerve pains, altered sense of smell, visual disturbance and musculoskeletal inflammation,' Dr Phelps testified.

'The diagnosis and causation has been confirmed by several specialists who have told me that they have seen 'a lot of patients in a similar situation'.

Dr Phelps also revealed she too was diagnosed with a vaccine injury from a second dose of Pfizer in July 2021.

She said after a battery of tests she had the 'diagnosis and causation confirmed by specialist colleagues'.

'In my case the injury resulted in dysautonomia with intermittent fevers and cardiovascular implications including breathlessness, inappropriate sinus tachycardia and blood pressure fluctuations,' she said.

Dysautonomia are problems with the nervous system while tachycardia induces rapid heartbeat.

Dr Phelps claimed she reported the reactions to the body overseeing vaccine safety, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), but they never followed it up.

She said other doctors have also 'experienced a serious and persistent adverse event' but that 'vaccine injury is a subject that few in the medical profession have wanted to talk about'.

'Regulators of the medical profession have censored public discussion about adverse events following immunisation, with threats to doctors not to make any public statements about anything that 'might undermine the government's vaccine rollout' or risk suspension or loss of their registration,' she wrote.

Former Queensland premier Campbell Newman said Dr Phelps' submission was a 'watershed moment'.
Dr Phelps has previously been an advocate of the vaccines.

'There is definitely a highly significant reduction in death rates and severe acute disease if you have had three or four vaccines,' she wrote in July.

She has also been outspoken throughout the pandemic about the importance of avoiding the virus.

In August, she wrote an article titled 'dropping COVID safeguards is just a bad idea' and has consistently warned about long Covid as a result of 'even mild' infections.

Dr Phelps became a very high-profile president of the Australian Medical Association in 2000, making headlines by frequently clashing with then Howard Liberal government.

In 2018 she succeeded the retiring Liberal prime minister Malcolm Turnbull by winning a by-election to become the member for Wentworth, the electorate covering Sydney's wealthy eastern suburbs, which she lost at the 2019 federal poll.

In July award-winning DJ Tyson Illingworth claimed five doctors told him 'privately' that he was suffering serious health problems caused by an adverse reaction to two doses of Moderna - but they couldn't say so publicly or they would be deregistered.

The DJ, who goes by the name tyDi, went through a lengthy rehab after waking up partially paralysed just weeks after he was administered his first Moderna shot on October 1 last year.

Illingworth claimed five doctors suggested a correlation between his Moderna vaccinations and his paralysis but refused to go on the record out of fear of backlash or deregistration from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

'I went from doctor to doctor to have them tell me in private I would like to tell you what is happening to you, but I would be deregistered,' Tyson told Daily Mail Australia.

In March 2021, doctors were advised by AHPRA and national medical boards to not 'undermine' the national vaccine rollout.

'Any promotion of anti-vaccination statements or health advice which contradicts the best available scientific evidence or seeks to actively undermine the national immunisation campaign .... may be in breach of the codes of conduct and subject to investigation and possible regulatory action,' the joint statement said.

AHPRA denied this inhibited the way doctors perform their duties.

'Doctors do not need to be afraid to take notes about the vaccine,' a spokesperson for AHPRA said.

'It is good medical practice and a professional obligation for doctors to make accurate medical records.
'We encourage practitioners to discuss the various vaccines with their patients and use their professional judgement and the best available evidence to help the patient make the safest choices.'

AHPRA said it only intervenes 'where the public is at serious risk'.

'The Board's expectations of registered health practitioners in relation to vaccination and public health matters is not new and predates the COVID-19 pandemic,' the AHPRA spokesperson said.

Sooooo...because "poison" means what the government says it means, it's not REALLY poison in the sense that everyone who isn't a lawyer understands the term.
