Neither here nor there.
pancakes and omelets are fine but my vote goes to the Western Omelette but what about Waffles? Where's French Toast? And if I'm going for decadence; CREPES!

I had a western omelette and their famous pancake which is the size of a very large plate and almost an inch thick.

Are there any British restaurants in your area? I'd kill for a real English steak and kidney pie! Or an traditional Cornish cream tea. Oh and sherry trifle! And a Pims No.1!!!

Mmmmm...

Ooh, there's someone on etsy selling a Cornish cream tea in a box kit!

I may splurge on that for my Birthday next month!

ETA, Your English pub probably has Shepherds pie!! I'd go for that too.

I think Shepard’s pie is a special events meal, this place serves mainly fish and chips, scotch eggs, spotted dick, and pasties.

Sounds like there's a true Brit in the house ...or an American who was posted there for a while

I like all that stuff

Not good for my sugars but ....I'll adjust

Yeah, I'm a limey :)

I'm putting a link to that Etsy shop. She has a whole bunch of yummy stuff!

My wife made me her outstanding beef stew last year for my birthday. I've had it before for my birthday, too. She knows it's a popular one with my birthday request. Then, pumpkin cheesecake!

Slam me with your best double nickel birthday meal ideas for the coming week please! Official birthday is on the 23rd, and I’m gonna be celebrating all week long. Had taco pizza for dinner tonight, yum!

Me thinks I might be short some smoked pork steaks or even a turkey leg which might happen this Sunday.
That is the old speed limit, I am crawling to the new one at 70. Anyway congratulations for making it this far :hdbng:And for the meal, whatever rings the bell….

Happy birthday, PW.

Fo me, birthday dinner would be milky way pound cake with fudge frosting or homemade white cake with strawberry 7 minute frosting. Yep, I think thats it!
